Anne Curtis Annekapal Concert Photos
‘Bravery’ is the word that perfectly sums up The Forbidden Concert: Annekapal. Anne Curtis showed pageantry, passion, and playfulness like no other performing artist in our country today. Fans were treated to a relentless barrage of innovative production numbers and lavish costume changes, which kept a delightedly brimming Smart-Araneta Coliseum holding their collective breaths for the next big surprise.
Anne Curtis went toe-to-toe with her duets with Martin Nievera and Ogie Alcasid; she went head on with Robert Seña for “Nessun Dorma,” and no less than Regine Velasquez in “On the Wings of Love.” Her charm shone as she interacted with her guests, usually with humorous results—especially with the segment with Luis Manzano and Billy Joe Crawford. She also debuted her song “Made in the Philippines” slated to appear in her new album, a track that sounds like the lovechild of Toni Basil and Kesha. The Forbidden Concert: Annekapal was also a tribute to Anne Curtis’s career, as it gave nods to her past projects and looks forward to her future.
Did we mention her singing in the concert? Yes, she did.
