Meet the lovable oddballs who will save the world… accidentally!

Meet the lovable oddballs who will save the world! The WONDERfools lands on Netflix May 15!
Get ready for chaos, chuckles, and clumsy heroics.
In a world teetering on the edge of doomsday panic, a ragtag bunch of ordinary townies from Haeseong City suddenly stumble into extraordinary superpowers. What could possibly go wrong? Everything….and that’s exactly what makes it hilarious.
The WONDERfools is the wild new Korean action-comedy series coming exclusively to Netflix on May 15, 2026. Set against the nostalgic backdrop of turn-of-the-century 1999. With its Y2K anxieties and apocalyptic vibes, this show blends absurd humor, heartfelt misfit energy, and over-the-top superhero action.
Forget polished, brooding saviors in capes. These heroes are lovable trainwrecks:
Park Eun-bin stars as Eun Chae-ni, Haeseong City’s charming but chaotic “biggest trainwreck,” who gains the power to teleport in a hilarious blur.
Cha Eun-woo plays Lee Woon-jung (or Un-jeong), a socially awkward, rule-obsessed civic servant hiding a mysterious telekinesis ability.
Choi Dae-hoon as Son Kyung-hoon, the ultimate complainer whose sticky superpower turns everyday life into slapstick comedy.
Im Seong-jae (Ro-bin) brings unpredictable destructive powers that leave nothing but glorious mayhem in his wake.
Rounding out the ensemble are veterans Kim Hae-sook and Son Hyun-joo, adding warmth, wisdom, and a touch of darkness to the neighborhood crew.
As rising evil threatens their peaceful city and doomsday fears grip the public, this band of oddballs must figure out how to be heroes while barely managing not to destroy everything around them first.
