K-POP Hitmaker and ‘Universe League’ Mentor EL CAPITXN Announces Concert Tour in Macau and the Philippines

EL CAPITXN goes by many names, but one thing remains constant: he is an unparalleled creative force whose influence on K-pop continues to expand across genres, generations, and global audiences.

This year, fans will finally get to experience his signature sound and explosive artistry live as he brings his highly anticipated “WHO KILLED EL? EL CAPITXN WORLD TOUR” to Asia, with confirmed stops in Macau, Manila, and Bacolod.

The tour opens on December 6, 2025, at Para Club in Macau, followed by a Manila showcase on December 12 at Sky Dome, before concluding on December 14 in Bacolod at Sky Hall.

A celebrated K-pop hitmaker, EL CAPITXN (real name Jang Yi-jeong) has built an impressive body of work as one of South Korea’s most sought-after producers. His credits include major hits for both established icons and rising artists, ranging from BTS’ Suga to IU—most notably the genre-defining tracks “Daechwita,” a fiery fusion of hip-hop and traditional Korean instrumentation, and “eight,” a collaboration between IU and BTS’ Suga that dominated global charts.

Expanding his impact further, EL CAPITXN has delivered consecutive chart-toppers throughout 2025, including “Rendezvous” by AHOF, the lead single of their debut album Who We Are. The track’s explosive reception was swiftly followed by “Pinocchio,” another EL CAPITXN-produced hit that earned AHOF their first music show win, cementing his status as a star-maker and sonic architect of the next generation.

His rise as a mentor and producer was amplified through the reality competition “Universe League,” where he became a fan favorite for his sharp mentorship style, innovative musical arrangements, and ability to transform trainees’ performances into viral sensations. His creative direction on the show played a crucial role in shaping AHOF’s identity, positioning them as one of the most promising rookie groups of the year.

But EL CAPITXN’s story extends even further back. Before stepping into the producer’s seat, he debuted in 2013 as the main vocalist of FAVE Entertainment’s boy group HISTORY, where he earned recognition for his powerful vocals, emotive delivery, and stage charisma. His versatility as both performer and producer has allowed him to develop a unique perspective within the industry—one that bridges artistry, performance, and musical engineering.

In 2018, driven by a desire for creative independence, he founded his own label VENDORS, which has since become a hub for experimental sound, artist-driven production, and cross-genre collaboration. He has also maintained close ties with industry giant HYBE, contributing to its expanding musical ecosystem through project-based collaborations and production partnerships.

EL CAPITXN is widely known for blending alternative rock, metal, trap, and cinematic soundscapes, creating music that is both visceral and emotionally complex. His live performances are expected to reflect this eclectic artistry—immersive, high-energy, and uniquely conceptual.
