Manila, Philippines – June 2026 – Following the complete sell-out of all four scheduled performances and an extraordinary response from audiences, Film Concerts PH is pleased to announce a fifth and final performance of The Symphonic World of Studio Ghibli on August
2, 2026, at 7:00 PM at The Theatre at Solaire
Presented in partnership with The Japan Foundation, Manila and endorsed by Studio Ghibli, as part of the Philippines-Japan Friendship Year 2026, the concert celebrates the enduring cultural impact of one of Japan’s most beloved animation studios.

Audiences will experience over two hours of live orchestral performances featuring the scores from Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl’s Moving Castle, and Kiki’s Delivery Service, performed by the 83-piece Filharmonika Orchestra. To make the evening even more memorable, each performance will conclude with a special post-show Meet & Greet with Gerard Salonga, offering audiences the chance to take photos and have a brief interaction with the acclaimed conductor.

From soot sprites to young witches, fans are invited to become part of the celebration.
Audiences are highly encouraged to arrive in cosplay, themed outfits, or Ghibli-inspired
fashion and to show their support for their favorite film scores throughout the performance.
