Now, the veteran OPM group is celebrating that enduring connection with a 25th anniversary concert at Eton Centris in Quezon City on September 12, 2026.
The free concert brings together artists from different generations of Philippine music, including Gigi de Lana, Sunkissed Lola’s Bino, HEY JUNE!, and The Dawn’s Jet Pangan. CLNO, the band formed by former 6cyclemind member Chuck Isidro, will open the show.
For bassist Bobby Cañamo, reaching the 25-year mark is an opportunity to recognize not only the band’s longevity but also the different eras it has crossed.
“We consider every anniversary a milestone,” Cañamo says. “25 years is such a special milestone kasi mas ramdam namin yung era na natawid ng banda. Also, this time, may opportunity kami i-celebrate yung milestone nang mas grand.”
Since forming in the early 2000s, 6cyclemind has released six studio albums and established a catalog that remains firmly embedded in OPM. Songs such as “Sandalan,” “Sige,” “Upside Down,” and “Biglaan” have continued to resonate decades after their release, growing alongside the listeners who first encountered them and reaching younger audiences in the process.

“A live show always seems like a reunion with our audience for us,” says manager and sixth member Darwin Hernandez. “We were blessed that we were able to build a connection with our audience through our songs.”

For Aquino, the motivation remains straightforward: to continue creating and sharing music.
“We just want to share our music and be an inspiration to others,” he says. “Gaya nung lyrics, ‘di kami tumigil, itinuloy namin through ups and downs and lineup changes ng members ng banda.”

Bruno Mars is bringing The Romantic Tour to the Philippines in a major way, with two nights locked in at the Philippine Arena in Manila on May 15 and 16, 2027.
The global superstar has expanded his record-breaking stadium run once again, adding 26 new shows across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. The Manila dates form a key part of the Asian leg, following previously announced Japan shows and a run through Australia and New Zealand that kicks off February 13, 2027 at Optus Stadium in Perth. After stops in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland, the tour returns to Asia with Singapore on April 13, then multi-night engagements in Bangkok, Kaohsiung, and Hong Kong before landing in Manila.

Japan, Thailand and the Philippines’ new-generation girl groups will share the stage across three countries in a special three-act live series.
Japan’s HANA, Thailand’s 4EVE and the Philippines’ BINI have been announced as the acts for “ASIA POP GIRL FEST 2027,” a special three-act concert series that will bring the three groups together across Japan, Thailand and the Philippines in January and February 2027.
The festival will feature individual performances from each group, alongside special collaborative stages created specifically for the event—bringing together three distinct pop scenes and giving fans the opportunity to see HANA, 4EVE and BINI share the stage.
The series is set to kick off in Japan with two shows at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY in Chiba on January 22 and 23, 2027. The festival will then head to Bangkok for a show at BITEC LIVE on February 13, before concluding in Manila at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on February 19.

Filipino alternative rock icons TEETH are bringing their Year 33: TEETH The Reunion – Legacy Tour to Singapore on August 30, 2026, allowing Filipino and Singapore-based fans to experience one of the Philippines’ most influential rock bands of the 1990s live onstage.
The Singapore leg of the reunion tour will be held at Foochow Building (Foo Chow Hall), 21 Tyrwhitt Road, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Presented by TEETH and S32 Productions, the concert forms part of the band’s homecoming celebration of more than three decades of music and its enduring legacy in Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
Joining TEETH for the Singapore show is System 32, a Singapore-based Filipino band whose participation adds a local dimension to the evening and further connects the concert with the Filipino community in Singapore.
For Filipino audiences in the city-state, the show offers an opportunity to revisit the sound and spirit of the golden era of Pinoy rock—a period in which TEETH established itself as a defining force in the local alternative music scene. For 12 years, Wish 107.5 has built a platform that not only brings music to audiences but also opens doors for emerging artists and gives new stories a chance to be heard. This year, the station celebrated its milestone by uniting OPM artists from different eras in Wish Date: Unchanging Glass, a one-of-a-kind evening of music, love, and cinema-inspired storytelling.
Among the featured performers were OPM hitmaker Renz Verano, the Queen of Concerts Pops Fernandez, popular band The Juans, and rising singer-songwriter DWTA. Together, they brought different sounds and generations to the stage while becoming part of one emotional story. Pops Fernandez praised the unique concept of combining a narrative with live musical performances.
“I love the idea,” she said. “The editing, the scoring, and the story are all beautifully done. What makes it special is the mix of different sounds, styles of singing, and artists—all coming together in one show and one concert.” For Renz Verano, being part of another Wish production was an opportunity he gladly welcomed.
“This is something different,” he shared. “The reception from the crowd and the audience is always wonderful. Whenever I receive an invitation from Wish, I’m always willing to come with open arms.”
While the established OPM stars brought nostalgia and timeless hits, younger artists such as The Juans and DWTA added a contemporary sound to the Unchanging Glass story, starring Zaijian Jaranilla, Yukii Takahashi, Aljon Mendoza, Monina Lawrence and Sharmaine Suarez.
The experience was especially meaningful for The Juans, who have shared a long history with Wish 107.5. “We’re honored because we’ve been with Wish since we were just starting,” the group said. “Wish was actually the first to produce our first concert at Araneta. This place is very sentimental to us. To be back and perform for Wish again makes us feel like we’re part of this family. Being celebrated by the Wishers is something we will always be grateful for.”
For DWTA, performing alongside some of the artists she once watched and admired was a full-circle moment.
“When I was younger, I would only see them on TV and sing along to their songs,” she shared. “I used to think that if I could just watch them perform in person one day, that would already make me happy. But now, I’m seeing them perform while I’m also one of the performers. It really warms my heart. Thank you so much, Wish, for this opportunity.”
At the heart of the celebration was Unchanging Glass, a new Wish Date story that explores love tested by change, waiting, and memories that remain difficult to leave behind. The music became an extension of the emotions of the characters, expressing the feelings that often remained unspoken in the story.
The production also introduced “Hourglass,” an original composition that serves as the official soundtrack of Wish 107.5’s 12th anniversary. For actor Zaijian Jaranilla, the fusion of acting and live music made the experience even more memorable.
“After we do a scene and then someone suddenly sings, you understand the message they’re trying to convey even more,” he said. “You can feel more deeply what the character wants to say. It was a very enjoyable experience.”
Yukii Takahashi also shared how the combination of music and acting created a deeper connection with the audience.
“I could really feel the connection with the audience through the acting and the song itself,” she said. “I feel like they were in the scene with us. We brought them into the story.”
Beyond the performances, the participating artists also shared their hopes for the future of OPM and their own “unchanging” wishes.
For The Juans, it is the continued support of Wish 107.5 that they hope will always remain.
Renz Verano expressed his desire to see more classic Filipino songs brought back and rediscovered by today’s listeners.
Pops Fernandez, meanwhile, hopes that the importance of meaningful OPM lyrics will continue to be preserved regardless of changing musical styles.

The band will take over the New Frontier Theater on Oct. 4, 2026, for a milestone performance that also serves as an emotional farewell to drummer Janessa “Janae” Geronimo before the group enters a new chapter.
Titled Over October Live at the New Frontier Theater, the concert follows a string of career highs for the band, including sold-out performances at the Music Museum and its successful anniversary show at MOA Sky in 2025. More than another milestone venue, however, the upcoming concert carries added emotional weight as it will be the final official performance featuring Over October’s original five-member lineup.
“For better or for worse, Janessa’s departure is something we will all have to come to terms with,” the band shared in a statement. “We’re all, for the most part, excited for both Over October’s and Janessa’s respective new chapters. But of course, we also feel that a good thing is about to come to an end.”
The group acknowledged that each member has been processing Geronimo’s departure differently, describing the transition as both exciting and uncertain. While the band expects creative adjustments moving forward, they emphasized that their priority remains delivering memorable performances throughout the remainder of the year.
