The first ever Karpos Live show, Mix 1.1, held last June 15 was a manifestation of a pure live music experience – just music + you. A whopping full production, 90 minute set from both Reese Lansangan and Tom’s Story showcased their musical abilities to play and transform their songs to another level. The atmosphere during the show was intimate, different, but familiar in a sense of coming together as music lovers, making it truly a space for great music. With this remarkable first Karpos Live show, it can only get better from here.

The concert series continues with Mix 2 featuring Tom Misch + Vancouver Sleep Clinic on August 23 and Ben&Ben + Clara Benin on October 6. Another 2 shows lined up for those who want to simply enjoy the music and have a damn good time.

Mix 2.1 on August 23 will feature international artists –

London-based multi-instrumentalist & singer-songwriter, Tom Misch , who has recently caught waves thanks to his debut albu m, Geography. Listeners of Misch’s album will quickly be entranced by its jazzy & hip-hop sound, making it an overall harmonious masterpiece. And Australian electronic-pop indie artist, Vancouver Sleep Clinic , whose music takes you on a delicate yet resolute stream of moody synths, dynamic vocals, and gripping beats, only leaving you itching for more.

Mix 2.2 on October 6 will champion homegrown alternative-indie artist Clara Benin, and folk-indie group, Ben&Ben, playing a full sets each for the first time.

Ben&Ben is a band that holds 9 members in the group, each with superb musical talent. Their sound is of soft, transparent & heartfelt melodies that speak about life experiences and everything in between. Playing alongside them is Clara Benin who continues to be a sound name in the local indie scene with her ability to transform music to a certain degree of comfort and ease.

What they have in common? You don’t need much to enjoy and connect to music like theirs – just listen and let it do the work. See it yourself as they play the Karpos Live stage.
