From Screen to Stage: KOSTCON 2025 Brought Familiar Feelings to Manila Audience!

August 6, Mall of Asia Arena: KOSTCON Manila successfully wrapped up, delivering an emotional rollercoaster for K-drama fans. Fans were treated to nostalgic performances from 7 artists with 35 songs on one concert stage. #KOSTCON2025inMANILA indeed brought music and nostalgia to the Philippine concert stage with performances from some of South Korea’s best performers—Lee Mu Jin, Heize, SoYou, Chen, K.Will, Kim Bum Soo, and LYn.

Here’s the set list from the stellar lineup of OST icons—Lee Mujin, Heize, SoYou, K.Will, Kim Bum Soo, LYn, and Chen (EXO).

Lee Mujin
The beloved sweet and soulful vocal opened his set with his heartfelt piece “Ordinary Confession” that resonates deeply into that K-Drama moment, a perfect fit for OST fans in the arena. Followed by “Rest” from the 2023 drama “Castaway Diva,” “Rain and You” from the well-loved series Hospital Playlist, and “Sweet” from the perfect romcom “Business Proposal.” He closed his set with his single “Episode,” leaving the crowd hyped. It was his first time singing in Manila and he did not disappoint!

Heize
The Philippine concert stage welcomed Heize’s unique musical style. She started her act with “The Last” from the drama we loved for its unique struggles, “Our Blues,” followed by stirring our hearts with Jang Man-wol moments for “Can You See My Heart” from “Hotel Del Luna.” She also performed “You Are the One” from the recent drama “Tastefully Yours” and “Hold Me Back” from the 2024 hit “Queen of Tears.” She capped her set with her singles “Happen” and “And July.” She even gifted her lucky fan with a personally signed “Our Blues” OST album and a sunflower.

SoYou [Sistar]
Manila was ready to experience SoYou’s heavenly smooth and powerful voice again! She graced the Mall of Asia Arena with crowd favorite “I Miss You” from the hit series “Goblin,” “No Sleep” from “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,” “Once More” from the period drama “Empress Ki,” “It’s Okay” from the award-winning “When the Camellia Blooms,” and wrapped her set with another crowd favorite “SOME,” the original soundtrack for the drama “She Was Pretty.”

CHEN (EXO)
Chen’s mesmerizing vocals shine during his set, and we think we are “Fall in Love Again” with him as he opened his performance with his solo single. It was followed by “Best Luck” from the remarkable 2014 drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love.” And “Make it Count” from the Korean drama “Touch Your Heart.” The loudest scream came when he performed “Everytime,” the hit OST of the smash drama that made us fall in love with the Alpha Team of special forces from “Descendants of the Sun.” It gave the audience a total relapse of this well-loved TV series. He ended his set by leaving the audience dancing in memories of his solo hit single “Broken Party.”

K.Will
Korea’s top-notch balladeer known as “Prince of OST” graced the Philippine concert stage for the first time. He opened his set with “Love Blossom” from his 2013 album! Followed by the “All I Have is My Heart” OST from the 2022 comedy medical drama “Ghost Doctor” and the “Beautiful Moment” OST for the 2018 Korean drama “The Beauty Inside.” “Talk Love” from “Descendants of the Sun” was also included. It was like Snoopy, Harry Potter, and Piccolo from Alpha Team talking and taking us back to 2016, a major relapse for the audience for sure! He wrapped his set with “Please don’t…” a song that made him one of the most well-received male soloists in Korea.

Kim Bum-Soo
Known for his powerful vocals and emotional ballads, Kim Bum-soo is one of the highly acclaimed South Korean singers who finally grace the Philippine concert stage. He opened his set with “A Love Begins from Confession,” the OST for the Korean drama “The Producers.” He also performed his new song “Journey” as a celebration and reflection of his 25-year musical journey. He performed and took us back to 2010 with “Appear” from the top-notch “Secret Garden,” which made the whole arena feel that Kim Joo-won [Hyun Bin’s character] was asking us to dance! One of his set highlights was when he performed “I Miss You,” a go-to karaoke song in Korea known for its emotional impact and its association with the iconic drama that made us fall in love with Cholo and Jodi, “Stairway to Heaven.” Wrapping up his set, Kim Bum-soo performed one of his well-known commercially successful songs, the song that is often associated with a rainy, cozy, introspective mood and thoughts of loved ones. “Last Love” played, and the set has ended, but definitely not his last love for the Manila audience!

LYn (린)
Make waves for thy queen! LYn is highly celebrated for her powerful vocals and emotional delivery and dubbed as “Queen of OST” in Korea. She opened her set with “We Were in Love,” which is the OST for the 2018 KBS drama “Are You Human?” Followed by another relapse song for our DOTS heart, she performed “With You” and teased the crowd for song requests and sang “LOVE” and “Teddy Bear” a cappella before she transitioned to performing another iconic hit, “Love Story,” from “The Legend of the Blue Sea” to “My Destiny,” and took us back to 2013 with the hit fantasy romantic comedy “My Love from the Star,” in which, by the way, she looked like Cheon Song-yi with her whole ensemble. Lyn wrapped up his set, making our inner Heo Yeon Woo happy when she performed “Back in Time” from the hit series “The Moon that Embraces the Sun.”
