BABYMETAL IS SET TO CONQUER MANILA THIS 2025
There is ferocious beauty, a familiar sonic chaos, and stunning visual impact when it comes to the experience known as “kawaii metal,” a genre-bending spectacle conceived and can only be delivered at its peak level by acclaimed Japanese outfit BABYMETAL.
Combining the best elements of heavy metal sub genres like death, progressive, power, metalcore, speed and nu metal and uniquely cramming the styles and packaging the music through the overall ethos of J-Pop idols, the band – vocalist and dancer Su-Metal, screamer and dancer Moametal and screamer and dancer Momometal – has literally taken the worldwide music scene by storm – furthering its previous status as a successful niche-experiment into a cultural phenomenon.

Since the band’s debut in 2010, it’s been a steady rise to worldwide domination. From their first appearance at the Sakura Gakuin Festival in the same year, to their historic 2012 performance at the reputed Summer Sonic Festival (being the youngest to ever perform in the event’s history…) and at the annual Loud Park Festival the following year, BABY METAL has since been taking leaps instead of bounds. Armed with precision technical wizardry, highly stylized and futuristic music videos, and an impressive stage show, the band soon topped charts outside their native Japan, particularly in Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States. By 2014, after selling-out two shows in Budokan – which had a staggering attendance of more than 20,000 people, they immediately embarked on a world tour – and audiences demanded more of them, as the band was quickly associated by big name artists like METALLICA, MEGADETH, GUNS N’ ROSES, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, SLAYER, ANTHRAX, KORN and yes – even LADY GAGA.
By the time they released their second album, Metal Resistance, they were conquering the Wembley Arena in London. And during the years that followed, BABYMETAL ticked-off all the worldwide festivals like Rock On The Range (Ohio, United States), Glastonbury (England), Rock am Ring (Germany) and were also slated to perform at Clockenflap (Hong Kong) and headline Southeast Asia’s largest annual hard rock/metal festival PULP Summer Slam in Manila, Philippines, which was unfortunately cancelled due to the worldwide pandemic.
But fans need not worry because PULP Live World is finally giving the legion of Filipino BABYMETAL fans the chance of a lifetime as they are bringing in the sonic and visual spectacle of BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2025-2026 IN ASIA LIVE IN MANILA this October 8th, 2025, at the famed Araneta Coliseum. Expect no less than sheer pandemonium once the word is out, as serious fans will surely be ignited with the news of BABYMETAL’s first-ever Philippine show and also be excited to both mosh AND dance-along to the spectacle that is BABYMETAL. The announcement of the Manila show immediately followed sold-out shows in Europe, particularly in Paris, so already, it’s a good sign why Pinoy fans should be securing the Manila date and their passes.
Tickets will be available starting June 14th, 2025, at 12PM (PHT) through TicketNet outlets and online via ticketnet.com.ph. For more information and announcements about the show, keep tuned in to pulpmagazine.com/, pulp.ph, and PULP Live World’s social media accounts.

The Fox God has spoken – YOU ARE WATCHING BABYMETAL! Metal CAN be cute… and vice versa! So raise them horns!
