Park Bo Gum Creates a Night of Music, Love, and Lasting Memories in “Be With You” Fan Meet in Manila
Always with Park Bo-gum, in every season.
On August 22, 2025, Manila witnessed a homecoming six years in the making as Park Bo-gum graced the Mall of Asia Arena for his “Be With You” fan meeting, delivering an evening that fans will cherish for years.

He began the night in a faux police uniform, greeting his beloved audience with heartfelt charm. Opening the show with the Korean songs “Annyeong” and “Just Fine,” Bo-gum set a warm and uplifting tone. Then, with genuine affection, he greeted fans directly: “Hello, everyone! Hello, Philippines! Thank you so much for your support and love. How have you been? It’s been a long time, right?” followed by, “I really, really missed you guys! I’m so happy to see you all!”
The fan meeting was beautifully structured like a train journey that took fans through three thematic “stations.” At the B-Cut Station, Bo-gum shared personal snapshots—including a touching photo of the bouquet fans had presented upon arrival, as well as a candid morning selfie. He said, “You guys are all my flowers… Please do not prepare or buy these flowers,” a comment that truly reflected how he treasures their genuine support.
At the B Station, he spoke about his projects from the past year. Expressing his gratitude, he said, “I think I have a lot of blessings this year, and also, at this moment, I’m receiving the blessings as well… I’m actually having a very thankful time because I was able to greet you with a lot of good projects… and also, meeting you guys, I’m feeling really blessed right now.” Watching a clip from When Life Gives You Tangerines, Bo-gum reflected, “It made me think about how to express love and what it means to be a good adult… I was able to finish this project with a heart filled with love and happiness.” He also revealed that during filming for Good Boy, he didn’t require a stunt double, making the performances even more authentic.
In the magical Be With You Station, Park Bo-gum granted meaningful fan wishes. He played Happy Birthday on the piano for a 72-year-old mother with tears in her eyes, took selfies, offered warm hugs, and even played the Filipino game jackstone—learning and using phrases like “mahal kita,” “miss kita,” and “ang ganda mo,” delighting the audience with his sweet sincerity.

Music was a core part of the night. After changing into a more casual denim outfit, Bo-gum performed numbers like “On My Way,” “Through the Night,” and “My Person,” and delivered heartfelt renditions of beloved Filipino songs such as Nobita’s “Ikaw Lang” and Gary Valenciano’s “I Will Be Here,” along with the Christian hymn “How Great Thou Art.” His ability to cross cultural and linguistic lines through music resonated deeply with fans.
Even after giving his all on stage, he continued to go above and beyond. Bo-gum toured the lower-box tiers, waving and greeting fans up close in a hi-bye session that lasted well after the show had technically ended. Fans left with even more than they expected—raffle prizes including his personal memorabilia, vitamins, body oils, and souvenir items from Taiwan—all thoughtfully prepared by him.
As the night came to a close, Bo-gum shared a message filled with warmth and connection: “I hope you really have a good day and memories. When you feel tired, think of this meeting, our trip. Thank you so much for your unconditional love, even though we have different languages.” And with a promise that moved many to tears, he said simply: “I’m gonna be with you every season.”
The Mall of Asia Arena pulsed with fan culture energy throughout the night—lightsticks waving in unison, chants echoing through the venue, and fan projects lighting up the space, all creating an atmosphere of tangible love and unity. The combination of Bo-gum’s musical performances, his endearing interactions, and the collective energy of fans made the evening feel like a deeply personal reunion, not just a fan meeting.
More than anything, the fan meeting was a reflection of who Park Bo-gum truly is. Beyond being a world-class actor and a gifted musician, he is a man of remarkable humility, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Every smile, every word of gratitude, and every gesture throughout the night showed how much he values the people who support him. In a world where stardom can often create distance, Bo-gum bridges it with sincerity, proving that his greatness lies not just in his talent, but in the kind of person he is. For Manila, this was not only a night with a star—it was a night with someone who makes the world brighter simply by being himself.
