Aiming to not only rekindle the spirit of the bloodless and peaceful revolution but also to inspire and intensify the ongoing fight against corruption, the People Power 40 Kick-Off Concert on Feb. 21 at Quezon Memorial Circle will now carry the theme “Awit at Aksyon Kontra Korapsyon.”
According to the Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) and Kaya Natin!, the concert seeks to remind Filipinos that the unity and courage that restored the country’s democracy in 1986 can today be channeled in the fight against corruption.
“People Power proved that the Filipino people, when united, can stand up to injustice and demand accountability. This concert is a way to honor that legacy while encouraging citizens, especially the youth, to continue the fight for transparency and good governance,” the organizers said.
Through this event, they aim to reinforce that fighting corruption is a shared responsibility for all Filipinos.
The concert will feature some of the country’s top performers, including Ogie Alcasid, Janno Gibbs, Rivermaya, Ice Seguerra, Ebe Dancel, Pio Balbuena, Morobeats, Elmo Magalona, Arkin Magalona, Chelsea Alley, and Over October.
Adding color to the celebration are stand-up comedians Alex Calleja and Red Ollero, Iza Calzado, Bea Binene, and DJ JhaiHo.
Pre-show begins at 4 p.m., with the main concert starting at 6 p.m.

The announcement includes the Philippine stop, originally scheduled for April 25, 2026, at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
Following the band’s announcement, PULP Live World, the official organizer of the Philippine show, has confirmed the rescheduled date for the local concert. The MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE SOUTH EAST ASIA 2026 TOUR IN BULACAN will now take place on November 14, 2026, at the Philippine Arena.

Bistro Rising 2025 returns to Manila with a renewed sense of purpose, bringing together some of the most promising Filipino indie artists from Singapore and the Philippines in a cross-cultural music showcase. The highly anticipated event will take place at 70’s Bistro in Quezon City on December 29, 2025.
Co-headlining the show are three Singapore-based Filipino bands that have steadily gained recognition within the Lion City’s underground music circuit: soul-pop act iLaya, indie rock outfitNostress, and ‘80s new wave-inspired band The Next Wave. The trio will share the stage with Shumi, a Bulacan-based city pop band, and Rooftop Reveries, an indie pop-rock group known for their compelling songwriting and polished live performances.
Bistro Rising 2025 is presented by Mushi Entertainment. The show is part of a broader effort to strengthen creative ties between the Philippines and Singapore, both of which are linked by an increasingly visible community of Filipino musicians and talents.

After an exciting year that’s overflowing with milestones and moments that continuously shape the district’s next chapter, BGC is preparing for an all-out celebration to thank everyone who has become a part of its story this year.
This year’s program reflects the momentum that BGC is in right now, and aims to express a feeling of local pride and optimism, rooted in various breakthroughs that were achieved through synergy.
As one of the most international districts in the country, BGC and the City Government of Taguig’s choice to spotlight OPM is deliberate–in a city shaped by global ideas, nothing hits harder than coming home to the sound of our own.
At the core of the celebration is a powerhouse OPM lineup engineered to electrify the city. DJ Mars Miranda, Jay-R, Dionela, G22, Parokya Ni Edgar, TJ Monterde, KZ Tandingan, and SB19 lead the night with a succession of performances that reflect the full spectrum of Filipino sound—from nostalgic and comforting to modern and genre-breaking, but all proudly local.
