MODERN POP PUNK HEROES, NECK DEEP, ARE RETURNING TO MANILA THIS 2023!

This September, kids will once again have a reason to sing, rejoice and jump in the pit because PULP Live World is bringing back one of the most energetic and infectious bands that have graced our shores. NECK DEEP returns to the Philippine concert stage on September 22, 2023, at the SM North EDSA Skydome.

Though the proverbial saying is that the third time’s a charm, there’s absolutely no denying that Welsh pop-punk outfit NECK DEEP has consistently brought the goods and exceeded all expectations of their loyal Filipino fans throughout the years. With fast-paced rhythms, humongous choruses, and anthemic tunes that have seemingly become the soundtrack of their ever-growing fanbase here in the country, the five-piece punksters – consisting of vocalist Ben Barlow, guitarists Matt West and Sam Bowden, bassist Seb Barlow and drummer Matt Powles – promise an unforgettable experience as they deliver nothing but “Beautiful Madness.”

Formed in Wrexham Wales in 2012, the band – which started out simply as a fun project that supported similar artists in the UK – rose to international acclaim after years of hard work on the road, touring the United States and ultimately, landing spots on the Vans Warped Tour in the US. Influenced by groups like Blink-182, New Found Glory, Green Day, and The Descendents, the group combined a modern flavor and their trademark sincere lyricism and won over fans of the genre in no time. Currently, Neck Deep has four studio albums under their collective belt, namely their 2014 debut Wishful Thinking, 2015’s Life’s Not Out To Get You, 2017’s The Peace and The Panic, and the 2020 release All Distortions Are Intentional.

And just this year, the band released two fiery singles that fans completely dug: the race-to-the-finish “Heartbreak of the Century” (released in February) and their most recent “Meet You There 2.0” a collaboration with UK pop-punk outfit Busted, released last May. Two more reasons to get hyped and tell all your friends.

So there is no need to ask “Where Do We Go When We Go?” because Neck Deep goes full circle as they return to the same venue they played both in 2016 and 2018: The Skydome at SM North Edsa. He is known for his portrayal in the critically acclaimed role of hitman Mike Milligan, on the series, “Fargo” (FX, 2014-), played the villain, Shocker, in Marvel Comics’s “Spider-man: Homecoming” (2017). He joined the cast of the true crime series “Unsolved” (USA, 2018).

Bokeem made a conscious decision to be more discerning and to select offers that align and reflects his beliefs as well as his true character, not long after the biopic film ‘Ray’ was released in 2004.

After a 15-year hiatus from music, Bokeem Woodbine’s Rock band, 13 Purple Dragons has re-emerged for their latest single release, “Star Seeds Sling Jing Jams.”

Just when Filipino pop-punk music devotees thought things couldn’t get any better, comes the most exciting announcement music fans from Davao have been waiting for: international pop-punk giants MAYDAY PARADE are coming to town!

That’s right – on October 30th, 2023 at the SMX Convention Center, the acclaimed alternative/emo icons are slated to perform their biggest and best hits, and favorite live anthems including “Jamie All Over,” “Miserable At Best,” “Jersey,” “Oh Well, Oh Well” and “Piece of Your Heart.” The band – comprised of lead vocalist/pianist Derek Sanders, guitarists Alex Garcia and Brooks Betts, bassist Jeremy Lenzo and drummer Jake Bundrick – had already previously announced shows in Manila and Cebu, but due to insistent demand from its fans, decided to go for round three to visit – and perform for – friends and fans even further south of the archipelago.

In fact, Mayday Parade is one of the few – if not ONLY – international artists in the recent decade to play dates in all three major cities.

The alternative band Tilly Birds, hailing from Bangkok, Thailand, has achieved household name status and garnered immense popularity in their home country. Dominating Thailand’s Joox, Spotify, and Apple Music charts multiple times since 2020, they have become a force to reckon with in the music industry. Javier Parisi will be wearing his Lennon hat for the Philippine leg of IMAGINE: The Beatles Legacy, happening on July 15, 2023, Saturday at the Music Museum.

Globally renowned and endorsed by John Lennon’s family and inner circle, Parisi will be headlining a show for the retro and newly schooled fans of The Beatles’ founding member and the legacy that he has left in the music industry.

NMIXX greeted their Filipino fans for the first time on the Philippine concert stage during the Manila stop of their showcase tour, which saw them perform their best hits and surprise their local fans with an adorable rendition of a Filipino nursery rhyme.

Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin brought the NMIXX SHOWCASE TOUR [NICE TO MIXX YOU] to Manila last June 30, 2023, at the New Frontier Theater. The Manila stop served as the final stop of their first showcase tour which saw them perform in 13 cities in North America and Asia.

The girl group greeted Philippine NSWERs with “TANK” and “O.O”, tracks from their debut single album, Ad Mare. They then officially welcomed the crowd to the NMIXX SHOWCASE TOUR [NICE TO MIXX YOU] and delivered their signature greeting before introducing themselves one after the other.

Lily praised the audience for their singing and thanked them for coming to the showcase. “So many fans from Manila have come to support NMIXX today. Thank you! Did you wanna see us?” she said. Haewon shared that they prepared hard for the concert which Bae described as a dream come true.

“I’m so happy we were able to do this overseas tour. I’m really excited for our final stop tonight,” Jiwoo said, echoing the group’s sentiment on the successful conclusion of their first showcase tour.

NMIXX leveled up the charming stages with the funky and groovy “PAXXWORD” and “Just Did It” from their first extended play, Expérgo. But before they dive into their next performances, the girls graciously taught the audience the moves to have them dance along to “Young, Dumb, Stupid”, the pre-release track from Expérgo. The song got everyone singing along— voices reverting loudly at the New Frontier Theater.

Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin then gave Philippine NSWERs the cutest surprise as they adorably sang the Filipino nursery rhyme “Kung Ikaw Ay Masaya”, accompanied by the audience’s loud cheers. The girl group got more treats for the fans because the evening also saw them perform TWICE’s “TT” and David Guetta’s “Hey Mama”.

The girl group continued to deliver outstanding stages, boasting their vocals, dance, and charms with “DICE” and “COOL (Your Rainbow)” from their second single album, Entwurf, and “My Gosh” from Expérgo.

And of course, the night will never be complete without Philippine NSWERs showering NMIXX with love and appreciation and welcoming them with warmth to the country. The fans prepared a special video presentation for the girl group that made the girls emotional. Kyujin relayed her gratitude, saying, “As how much love NSWERs are giving to us, we will do our best to repay you with more love. I hope all of us can stay together in the future more and more and more healthily.”

Lily echoed the word of thanks, adding “It’s been a long time coming. Thank you so much for waiting. We want to see you guys so much. I see a lot of Filipino NSWERs commenting on our stuff a lot. It means so much to me. I’m so glad I finally got to see you. Thank you for the video and the signs as well.”

NMIXX concluded the Philippine stop of their showcase tour — and the whole showcase tour — with “HOME”, “Love Me Like This”, and encore performances of “O.O” and “Love Me Like This”. The girls bade their farewell with “Mahal kita“.

“We are happy to have this final stage of our showcase tour together with you all,” Haewon said. Lily added, “Thank you for being an amazing crowd today.” Kyujin also relayed her hope to come back to the Philippines for a concert. “Instead of a showcase, I hope we can meet at a concert. Please come, okay?”

With strong vocals, engrossing choreography, and a commanding presence on stage, NMIXX’s debut performance in Manila demonstrated their talent and ever-growing capabilities as rising K-Pop acts.

After nine years, You Me At Six came back to the country for another incredible performance to add to the repertoire!

“It’s a pleasure to be back in the Philippines,” said vocalist Josh Fransechi as You Me At Six performs in front of their legion of fans who waited to see them back on the local concert stage after nine years since headlining PULP Live World’s Bazooka Rocks 3 festival in 2014.

The stage blazed and everyone in attendance was blown away last July 6 at the Skydome, welcoming the band and the Truth Decay Tour with the signature passion and energy of the Philippine concert crowd. “I and the boys are having a wonderful f*cking time with you all,” Josh exclaimed during the show.

Josh, guitarists Chris Miller and Max Heyler, bassist Matt Barnes, and drummer Dan Flint delivered hardcore performances of powerhouse tracks from their most recent and eighth studio album, Truth Decay, which they released in January 2023. They opened the Manila show with “Deepcuts”. Hinting at nostalgia, the band followed it up with the 2013 award-winning single, “Fresh Start Fever” and 2018 single “Straight to My Head”, before capping up the opening set with “Heartless”.

The concert’s setlist delivered a perfect mix of the vintage favorites and their recent powerhouse anthems, giving fans a journey with the band through the Truth Decay Tour. They performed the classics “Bite My Tongue”, “Stay with Me”, and “No One Does It Better”, together with “What’s It Like”, “No Future? Yeah Right”, “Give”, “Mixed Emotions”, “God Bless the 90s Kids”, and “Take on the World”.

Enjoying the concert and singing their hearts out, the crowd earned proud approval from the band. “We’ve established something tonight—you all have good singing voices.” Capping off the evening, in Josh’s words, the Filipino way, the band performed “Suckapunch”, “Underdog”, “Reckless”, and “Beautiful Way”.

The Truth Decay Tour in Manila was a comeback that the fans of You Me At Six waited for — nine years in the making. But July 6 concert once again delivered a lasting impression for both the band and the Philippine concert crowd.

Makeitlive is bringing in Han Seung Woo to Manila with his first Asia Tour titled 2023 HAN SEUNG WOO SPECIAL LIVE ONE in MANILA at SM North EDSA SkyDome on August 20, 2023. The K-Pop star prepared a lot of exciting performances to create special memories with all his Filipino HAN_As.

The upcoming concert will serve as the singer’s first solo concert in the country.

Han Seung Woo made his debut in 2016 as the leader of the K-Pop boy group VICTON. In 2019, he finished third in Mnet’s survival reality show, Produce X 101, and debuted as the leader of the project group X1.

Following X1’s disbandment in 2020, he returned to his activities with VICTON. The same year, he made his solo debut with the extended play, Fame, and lead single “Sacrifice”. In 2021, he released his second EP, Fade. He then enlisted in the military, returning to civilian life in January 2023.

In June, he came out with his third EP, Frame, and single “Dive Into You”.

Since his debut, he takes on an active role in writing and composing songs for his group and his solo releases—with over 30 songwriting credits under his name.

CRAVITY is finally landing on the Philippine shore, making their debut on the local concert stage in August!

Philippine LUVITYs are in for a treat as CRAVITY puts Manila on the map of their world tour, the 2023 CRAVITY The 1st World Tour – MASTERPIECE. DNM Entertainment and In2une Entertainment bring Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin to the Philippine concert stage for the first time on August 5 at the New Frontier Theater.

Much anticipation is at hand for the concert as it will serve as the first-ever performance of the nine-member boy group in the country since their debut in 2020. Making the show more special, all ticketholders will get to take part in the hi-bye event and bring home a souvenir card, in addition to other fan benefits to be won via raffle.

The Philippine stop is CRAVITY’s second to the last stop of their first world tour which started with a back-to-back concert in Seoul on May 13 and 14. Last June, the boy group brought their world tour to eight cities in Japan, North America, and Puerto Rico. In July, they will perform in Taipei and Hong Kong, before landing on the Philippine shore for their concert on August 5. They will close their first world tour with a concert in Bangkok on October 28.

CRAVITY continues to gain global attention and exhibit musical growth with their latest extended play, Master: Piece which has earned a platinum certification since its release in February this year. The album received praise for the masterful showcase of the symbolism of a “puzzle piece” which symbolizes “moving to another world on a true journey to find oneself”.
