Early bird tickets for the band’s October 4 concert at New Frontier Theater have sold out, prompting an earlier general sale.

Over October is heading toward its biggest headline concert yet, with strong demand driving an early sellout of its initial ticket allotment for its upcoming show at New Frontier Theater.

Early bird tickets for Over October Live at the New Frontier Theater have officially sold out, prompting organizers to move the general ticket sale to August 15, a week ahead of the original schedule. With four out of every five tickets already sold, the October 4 concert is quickly shaping up to be one of the band’s biggest live milestones to date.

The concert also carries added significance for the band and its longtime listeners. Set at New Frontier Theater, the show will be Over October’s final performance with its original five-member lineup, giving the night a sense of transition as the group enters a new chapter.

The upcoming concert follows a series of milestones that have steadily expanded Over October’s live presence. The band previously held two sold-out shows at Music Museum and followed them with a successful 2025 anniversary concert at the MOA Sky. Its New Frontier Theater show marks another step forward, bringing the band to its largest headline stage yet.

For Over October, the response has made the upcoming concert even more meaningful.

LE SSERAFIM will return to Manila this December for the final stop of its 2026 tour, bringing the 2026 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘PUREFLOW’ IN MANILA to the SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 5 and 6.

Presented by PULP Live World, the two-night concert marks the group’s second solo concert in the Philippines following its August 2025 stop for the EASY CRAZY HOT tour. Manila will also serve as the closing destination of the group’s 2026 touring schedule, allowing Filipino FEARNOT to experience the final shows of the tour.

The return comes as LE SSERAFIM continues to build on its position as one of K-Pop’s leading fourth-generation girl groups. Since debuting in 2022, Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae have developed a distinctive identity centered on confident pop, intricate performance, and themes of resilience. Their catalog includes “FEARLESS,” “ANTIFRAGILE,” “UNFORGIVEN,” “Perfect Night,” “EASY,” and “CRAZY,” songs that have helped establish the group’s presence in the global K-Pop landscape.

LE SSERAFIM’s international momentum has continued throughout 2026. UNDERTALE: The Determination Symphony features unforgettable, fan-favorite music from the game, performed live by the 25-piece Filharmonika Orchestra conducted by Thanapol Setabrahmana.  The concert pairs newly arranged orchestral music with gameplay footage displayed on a big screen, allowing fans to relive the game’s memorable characters, battles, and emotional moments.

Filipino alternative pop band Over October is set to mark a defining moment in its 12-year career with its biggest headline concert to date. The band will take over the New Frontier Theater on Oct. 4, 2026, for a milestone performance that also serves as an emotional farewell to drummer Janessa “Janae” Geronimo before the group enters a new chapter.

Titled Over October Live at the New Frontier Theater, the concert follows a string of career highs for the band, including sold-out performances at the Music Museum and its successful anniversary show at MOA Sky in 2025. More than another milestone venue, however, the upcoming concert carries added emotional weight as it will be the final official performance featuring Over October’s original five-member lineup.

“For better or for worse, Janessa’s departure is something we will all have to come to terms with,” the band shared in a statement. “We’re all, for the most part, excited for both Over October’s and Janessa’s respective new chapters. But of course, we also feel that a good thing is about to come to an end.”

The group acknowledged that each member has been processing Geronimo’s departure differently, describing the transition as both exciting and uncertain. While the band expects creative adjustments moving forward, they emphasized that their priority remains delivering memorable performances throughout the remainder of the year.

“When the dread of Janessa’s departure and the nerves about how the band will move forward become too overwhelming, we just try to remind ourselves that our working relationships might come to an end soon, but our friendship will always be there,” the band said. “Creatively, there will be adjustments and changes, but honestly, we’re still feeling it out. What we can confidently say is that we’re still focused on giving the best shows these coming months and in the concert.”

Since its formation, Over October has become one of the Philippines’ most recognizable alternative pop acts, building a devoted audience through emotionally resonant songwriting, intimate live performances, and a catalog of songs that have connected with listeners over the past decade. The country’s live music scene is expanding with the launch of Navotas Music Festival 2026, a new OPM-centered event that aims to unite some of the biggest names in Filipino music while celebrating culture, creativity, and community in one of Metro Manila’s emerging entertainment destinations.

Presented by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) – Navotas Chapter, the festival will make its debut on September 26, 2026, at the Navotas Convention Center, bringing together an eclectic lineup of established hitmakers and rising acts for a full-day celebration of Original Pilipino Music (OPM).

Leading the inaugural bill are chart-topping favorites Cup of Joe and Maki, whose emotionally resonant songs have become staples among today’s Filipino listeners. Filipino alternative band fitterkarma is taking its biggest step yet as a live act, announcing its first major solo concert at one of the country’s most storied performance venues.

The four-piece outfit will stage kung tayo’y nasa isang horror na pelikula, tiyak ako ang una mong papatayin: The Album Concert on Sept. 19 at the Metropolitan Theater Manila, marking the band’s most ambitious headline production to date. Produced by fitterkarma and GNN, the one-night show celebrates the release of the band’s long-awaited debut full-length album, which arrives two weeks before the concert.

Rather than presenting a traditional setlist, fitterkarma will perform the album in full, giving audiences the opportunity to experience the record exactly as it was intended—from its opening moments to its emotional conclusion.

For vocalist and guitarist Joao de Leon, hearing the songs performed live is integral to understanding the album.

“Witnessing the record live will be a more fulfilling experience,” de Leon says. “For me, watching the songs performed live is the best way to experience it because music being played live has no limits, reaching and releasing your emotions, and the record is meant to be felt above all.”

The concert also promises to elevate fitterkarma’s theatrical live identity through an expanded stage production, exclusive arrangements created specifically for the event, and a special collaboration with The Manila String Machine. The orchestral ensemble, which has previously worked with the band in the studio, will join fitterkarma onstage to bring new depth to the album’s cinematic soundscapes.

Guitarist Lory, also known as Mikee Mendoza, believes presenting the album in its intended sequence offers a different kind of listening experience than individual songs released online.

“I think hearing any album in the order intended by the artist is an experience in itself,” Mendoza says. “Aside from the studio album itself, we hope to elevate that experience by bringing it into a live setting and doing justice to the recorded versions of our tracks.”

The collaboration with The Manila String Machine, he adds, felt like a natural extension of the band’s creative process.

“Since we’ve already worked with them on several recordings, it only felt natural to have them join us onstage for the album launch.”

Since forming in 2023, fitterkarma has emerged as one of the Philippines’ fastest-rising alternative acts, carving out a distinct identity through music that blends alternative rock with Philippine folklore, horror imagery, and theatrical storytelling.

Their breakout singles “Kalapastangan” and “Pag-ibig ay Kanibalismo II” became major streaming successes, both reaching No. 1 on Spotify Philippines’ Top 50 chart and the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, establishing the band as one of the country’s most talked-about new acts.

Ahead of the concert, fitterkarma has also unveiled its latest single, “Purgatoryo,” offering listeners another glimpse into the sonic direction of the forthcoming album. The track embraces a darker, more atmospheric palette, layering noise rock and shoegaze influences over the melodic songwriting that has become one of the band’s defining characteristics.

Canadian alternative indie-pop artist yung kai is returning to the Philippines this November as part of his biggest Asian tour yet, bringing his stay with the ocean, i’ll find you: Asia 2026 tour to the New Frontier Theater on Nov. 9.

The Manila concert is one of nine stops on the singer-songwriter’s upcoming regional tour, which follows a successful North American run and marks his long-awaited return to Asia after selling out his first headlining tour across the region in 2025.

The tour opens on Oct. 30 in yung kai’s hometown of Shanghai before making stops in Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Taipei, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Tokyo, where it concludes on Nov. 19.

Fans attending the Manila show can look forward to live performances of some of yung kai’s most recognizable songs, including the viral hit “blue” and fan favorite “teach me how to dance.”

Sharing his excitement about returning to the region, yung kai said, “Asia don’t you worry… yung kai is back!!!!!”

Since making his debut in 2022, yung kai has quickly emerged as one of indie pop’s rising names, earning a global following through his dreamy, emotionally driven sound. Drawing inspiration from artists such as keshi and Wave to Earth, he blends influences from his Chinese and Canadian upbringing into music that bridges Eastern and Western storytelling.

His breakthrough came in 2024 with “blue,” which has accumulated more than 2 billion streams worldwide and earned Gold certifications in both the United States and Canada. Filipino naya will finally get the chance to see izna perform live as the rising K-pop girl group brings its first-ever world tour to the country with the 2026 izna CONCERT TOUR: WHO DAT GIRL? in MANILA on Oct. 17 at the EGM Hall, EVM Convention Center.

The Manila stop marks the group’s first concert in the Philippines since debuting under WAKEONE Entertainment in November 2024. Formed through Mnet’s global survival program I-LAND 2: N/a, izna is composed of MAI, BANG JEE MIN, KOKO, RYU SA RANG, CHOI JUNG EUN, and JEONG SAE BI. Filipino city pop band ALYSON is set to present its first major concert with a full orchestra through AFTER OURS: Live and in Full!, happening on July 17, 2026, at Aster Events Place in Mandaluyong City.

The special performance will bring the band’s acclaimed sophomore album, AFTER OURS, to life through orchestral arrangements, immersive production, and reimagined live performances, marking the group’s most ambitious concert to date.

Known for blending Manila Sound, Japanese city pop, Brazilian funk, ’80s OPM, and jazz, the five-piece band will perform the album in its entirety alongside a full orchestra. The production also represents a significant creative milestone, with the members taking a more active role in co-producing the show and shaping its artistic direction.
