It follows the colorful pop hit Azizam, highlighting Sheeran’s versatility.
Sheeran describes Play as a response to the darkest period of his life, crafted to radiate joy and exploration. Recorded worldwide and finalized in Goa, India, the album captures a rollercoaster of emotions, reflecting his roles as a human, partner, and father. The Philippines’ most popular band is bringing their music to different parts of the country, the United States, and Singapore starting this month
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Philippines’ biggest folk-pop band Ben&Ben will be bringing their music to Cebu, Bacolod, and Davao for the Philippine leg of their The Traveller Across Dimensions World Tour. Overseas performances will also take place in Singapore and different parts of the United States later in the year.
Tickets are already available for the May 24 show at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino, with announcements for the June 8 show at the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod and the June 22 performance at the SMX Convention Center in Davao to come in the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, tickets for the Singapore show at the Arena@Expo on December 14, as well as those for the performance at the Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, California on July 12 are also available for purchase. Additional show dates and venues will be announced as they become final.
For the tour, the nine-piece band will perform tracks from their third studio album, mixed with some of their past hits. The Traveller Across Dimensions album was released on November 29, 2024, and has produced hits like Could Be Something and Tomorrow with You.
The concept album follows the story of Liwanag, the Traveller, as she journeys through three Dimensions: Light, depicting innocence; Energy, depicting struggle; and Feel, depicting maturity. She writes 12 songs along the way, which relate her experiences in each of the Dimensions.
The songs reflect the various experiences of the band members over the past several years and showcase their growth as people, as songwriters, and as musicians. While their signature indie folk sound remains, the group dishes out city pop and electric beats not present in their previous songs. As the group evolves, so do their stories and their music.

Continuously breaking the charts and changing the trajectory of Korean pop music, South Korean girl group NMIXX arrived in Manila for their 2nd fan concert NMIXX CHANGE UP: MIXX LAB in Manila at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
Filipino NSWERS, as what their fans are fondly called, were in for a treat as their favorite 6-member ensemble composed of Haewon, Bae, Lily, Sullyoon, Kyujin, and Jiwoo, returned to the Philippines after almost 2 years for another fan concert and reunited with their beloved fans.
NMIXX, whose group name meant “the best combination for a new era,” debuted under JYP Entertainment in February 2022 with their song “O.O.” The group has been steadily gaining fame and recognition since then, making them a remarkable 4th generation Kpop group.
Fans’ loudest cheers resounded throughout the concert hall as NMIXX entered the stage and opened their show with “Run for Roses” and their latest title track “Know About Me.” NMIXX couldn’t help but be overwhelmed with their fans’ energy and immense love and support. The girls continued to perform as they sang onstage some fan favorites such as “Beat Beat,” a one-of-a-kind rendition of “Love Me Like This,” the upbeat “Young Dumb Stupid,” and their electrifying debut single “O.O,” to which fans sang and danced along, making NMIXX undeniably ecstatic and excited.
The girls surely know how to have fun with their Filipino NSWERS as they played a few games and danced to songs from the most notable Kpop girl groups, such as VIVIZ’s Maniac, Le Sserafim’s “Eve, Psyche, and the Bluebeard’s Wife,” ILLIT’s “Magnetic,” Jennie’s “You and Me,” and ITZY’s “Cake,” as part of their speed game.
NMIXX brought fire onstage with their amazing vocals as they sang more of their music, such as “Love is Lonely,” “Moving On, ” “Tank,” “Just Did It,” “Sickuhh,” “Boom,” “Dash,” “See That,” and “Kiss.” The girls also did a cover of TWS’s “Plot Twist” and DAY6’s “Time of our Life.”
NSWERS also made sure to make this MIXX Lab stop memorable for NMIXX and NSWERS as well, as they prepared a special video message for the girls, and show their appreciation for the group. The crowd also lit up the hall with blue lights, just like the ocean, while holding the banners for the girls. “No matter how the waves flow, we will always sail with NMIXX.” Fans sang along NMIXX’s “Ocean” as well.
During their final ment, members expressed their gratitude to the fans. “I see so many Filipino NSWERS in our comments, and online always supporting us, and who are always so loud with your support… We are so, so thankful, you guys must have waited so long for us to come here, and we’re so happy we got the chance to [return to the country],” Lily also commended their fans’ singing and fanchants, saying that they will surely come back here for another show. Meanwhile, Jiwoo playfully asked the crowd “NSWERS, who is the flower?” To which fans replied her name. “Today was so much fun, thanks to NSWERS. We have to meet in Manila again soon, right?” Jiwoo showed how much fun she had during their Manila leg.
“NSWERS, thank you so much for coming today. Thank you for giving us such touching moments. We hope NSWERS would stay with us for a long time.” Sullyoon expressed her gratitude to fans who touched her heart through their sincerest gestures. “If you guys are willing to meet us again, we’ll definitely come back soon.” Bae looked forward to meeting their Filo NSWERS soon.
“Although it’s been a while since we last came to Manila, thank you so much for coming to out concert and enjoying our show. You know, because of you guys, we were able to receive a lot of energy, and I think we were able to give a lot of energy to you guys as well. We will never forget this energy that you’ve given to us, so let’s try to exchange this happy energy together moving forward. We’ll be coming back with cooler stages, so please look forward to it, okay?” Kyujin appreciated their fans’ happy energy. “It has been so hot coming to this concert area, but you were able to cheer for us very passionately, so thank you so much. The Living Tombstone or TLT is known for their catchy beats, catchy melodies, and electronic music, composed of the duo Yoav Landau and Sam Haft. Having created and released music over eleven years, they have amassed 8 millionYouTube subscribers, and their music has achieved over 70 billion streamsacross platforms. The band is coming off a sold-out North American 2024 tour. Their unique position as both recording artists and influencers in the gaming and ‘geekdom’ space gives them a significant cultural footprint and history, with multiple RIAA-awarded songs, and even charting at #4 on the Dance/Electronic chart with their track Five Nights At Freddy’s, used in the end credits of the recent Blumhouse/NBC Universal produced film.
Haft, originally a TV and film writer by trade, joined The Living Tombstone as a songwriter-lyricist-vocalist seven years ago, but ask him and he’ll tell you, “The magic is all Yoav. I’m hardworking and lucky – he’s special.” Founding member Yoav Landau, who portrays the band’s frontman character “zero_one” onstage, started TLT as a way to escape an environment in which he never felt like he fit in, as a teenager in Israel. Yoav found an emotional outlet in developing music about his favorite television shows to connect with like-minded communities away from his home and across the world. As soon as he was able, Yoav left college, moved to America, and became a full-time creator.
TLT’s manager, Octone Records co-founder David Boxenbaum, never thought he would manage an act, but something surprised him when he first encountered TLT. “These guys disprove the rule, that you can’t just put your music out there and expect people to find it,” he says with a grin. “These guys put it out there, and millions of people found it.” And he’s right – they have – from major movie studios like Universal Pictures, to A-Listers like Will Smith and Jack Black. TLT has carved out its own little corner of the geek culture zeitgeist.
TLT encountered Boxenbaum – or “Box” as friends call him – while developing a TV show for Japanese media giant Avex, where he was the head of their music company. It was Box who convinced the act to finally assemble the debut LP album they’d been dreaming up for years, “zero_one”, and take it to the industry, where it was embraced by fans and casual listeners alike.
TLT have in the meantime continued developing projects for TV, video games, and more. In 2021, they released indie horror game In Sound Mind, which was critically well received and rated “overwhelmingly positive” on Steam. Since re-acquiring the rights to their TV project from Avex, they have independently financed a proof-of-concept to their battle of the bands cartoon, “Rock N Rumble,” with plans to pitch in Q1 2024. In addition, they’ve spun off the concept into a battle of the bands strategy video game, AudioClash: Battle Of The Bands, currently in beta and seeking a publisher.
Now newly signed to 10K Projects, TLT is working alongside industry-best alternative producer CJ Baran (Panic! at the Disco, COIN, One OK Rock) on their next album, entitled Rust. “Just as zero_one was an album about looking inward, Rust is an album about looking outward,” says Haft. “It’s an album about rebellion, dystopia, and an angry optimism that we can create the future we deserve.” Rust releases in 2025.

Now, the wait is over and Manila is set to create a new chapter in its history as PULP Live World proudly brings the Japanese rock powerhouse, MY FIRST STORY, to Manila! For the very first time, MY FIRST STORY will be performing in Philippine Territory as MY FIRST STORY ASIA TOUR 2025 in MANILA happens at the New Frontier Theater on July 24, 2025.
Formed in Shibuya, Tokyo in 2011, MY FIRST STORY quickly soared to popularity with their music – a distinct fusion of post-hardcore intensity, melodic rock, and poignant lyricism. The band is led by vocalist Hiroki ‘Hiro’ Moriuchi, the younger brother of ONE OK ROCK’s Takahiro Moriuchi and son of two equally legendary Japanese singers. Alongside him are Teruki ‘Teru’ Nishizawa on guitar, a longtime friend and high school bandmate; Shohei ‘Kidz’ Sasaki on drums (who joined in 2016 after previously performing with the band Loth…); bassist and founding member Nobuaki ‘Nob’ Katou and Sho Tsuchiya, the band’s original guitarist, co-founder, and creative force. (Though Tsuchiya has been on hiatus since 2015 due to personal circumstances, his contributions as the band’s lead songwriter and producer continue to shape their music today…)
MY FIRST STORY’s career is filled with remarkable achievements that prove their influence both on Japanese and international music. Their self-titled debut sold over 20,000 copies, earning them a nomination as “Next Break Artist” at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, which led to their first sold-out independent show. Their subsequent albums “Antithese” (2016) and “S·S·S” (2020) both peaked at #4 on the Oricon Singles Chart and #7 on Billboard Japan’s Hot 100 charts. Their peak came in 2020 as their album “V” reached #2 on Oricon and #3 on Billboard Japan, marking their highest chart performance to date. Their 10th anniversary compilation album, “X”, also ranked at #6 on various charts, and their award-winning hit “I’m a Mess” earned “Best Lyricist Award” citations at the 2023 Japan Record Awards.

Fun fact: before it became the beautiful track we now know as “Being With You,” the song was originally penned in Korean. The song was composed, produced, mixed, and mastered in Korea, as well.
The track is a romantic ballad made up of beautiful orchestral elements, from the hypnotically soft keys, to the emotional strings, supported by story-telling through percussive instruments, constantly building up to a powerful climax.
The Power Diva went live on TikTok minutes before the drop of her newest song, and excitedly waited for the release together with her fans and supporters. After listening to it together with those who joined her livestream, Angeline couldn’t help but feel grateful for all the words of support from the comments section. Some used compliments like “ganda” and “sarap pakinggan,” while others said that they would definitely get LSS or last song syndrome after hearing the song, which fans and curious listeners alike can now stream on all major music streaming platforms.
A heartwarming moment was when her son Sylvio joined the livestream. But what’s cuter than her son joining the live? Angeline having a hard time ending the livestream! Both tracks are part of their third EP, Simula at Wakas, which marks the final chapter in a trilogy that began with 2021’s pagsibol and continued with 2023’s PAGTATAG!.
Helmed by Kerbs Balagtas of YouMeUs MNL, the music video of “DUNGKA!” reflects the chaotic but vibrant world of urban Manila. It’s a dynamic tribute to individuality, community, and the unfiltered beauty of everyday life, where people of diverse classes and backgrounds come together to raise their voices and stand up for something bigger than themselves.
Released with no teaser and fanfare, the song’s MV was a surprise drop for the fans. . In conceptualizing the video, SB19 set out to mirror the track’s chaotic energy through a visual celebration of diversity and self-expression. The five-piece group explains, “That energy really stood out to us. Our idea was to highlight our group’s diversity and showcase each member’s unique personality. From there, it grew into something bigger, bringing in people from all walks of life to reflect the extraordinariness in our differences.”
The music video features an impressive roster of guest stars, including Mimiyuuuh, Maymay Entrata, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Sassa Gurl, Jayat, Kween Yasmin, Malupiton, Ghost Wrecker, Shehyee, Smugglaz, Pat Lasaten, Agnes Reoma and Vice Ganda, whose presence added a deeper layer of impact to the project.
“When someone brought up Ate Vice, it just made perfect sense,” shares SB19 in a collective statement. “Her personality and connection to the public really aligned with the message we were trying to send.”
Beyond the music, “DUNGKA!” serves as a statement, one that mirrors current realities and encourages collective action. In the video, SB19 leads a symbolic movement, echoing calls for change and empowerment from the streets, where real transformation often begins.
“We brought in artists and personalities who we felt matched the spirit of what we wanted to say,” SB19 adds. “They’re people who also want to speak up, who want change, who want to be part of a movement that challenges a flawed system. Everything just fell into place. The concept, the message—it all aligned. It felt like the right time to show people that we can do this now—that this is where SB19 is. We also wanted to share that power, that message, with everyone: that movements and revolutions aren’t just for celebrities or people in certain positions. “More than just creating a visually appealing music video, our main goal was to clearly deliver the message—about time,” SB19 explains. “It’s a universal concern. Everyone, no matter who you are or where you’re from, is affected by how we use time. And while we all have time, not everyone uses it wisely mostly because of different priorities or distractions.”
The music video captures everyday moments that hit close to home, making its message universally accessible to all. “The core message is this: we’re all running out of time one way or another,” the group adds. “Let’s use it wisely, before it slips away.”

Southeast Asian music takes center stage as Indonesian superstar Pamungkas and Thai alt-pop duo Scrubb return to Manila for a special show this Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 123 Block in Mandala Park, Mandaluyong City.
Pamungkas recently released his fifth studio album, Hardcore Romance, which serves as an “important marker of his musical journey” being one of the most commercially successful singer-songwriters in Indonesia. He’s known globally for his smash single “To The Bone,” peaking at No. 5 on Spotify Philippines Top 50 chart.
Scrubb, on the other hand, is a phenomenal music act whose music reached global popularity thanks to their enormous contributions to the official soundtrack of 2gether The Series, the biggest Boy’s Love hit ever released worldwide.
