The solo concert Philippine NCT 127 fans have been longing for is finally happening!

Astroโs Cha Eun Woo left Manila starry-eyed after his 2022 Just One Ten Minute: Starry Caravan in Manila fan meeting at the Araneta Coliseum last August 6, 2022. The fan meeting marked his return to the Philippines following his first solo event in 2019.
From a venue with less than three thousand attendees to a packed coliseum, Cha Eun Wooโs growth has been incredible. He captured the hearts of many Filipinos from around the globe with his roles in True Beauty, Hit the Top, My ID is Gangnam Beauty, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung, and Top Management.
Many are first drawn in by his looks, but his talent and personality turn them into fans. While many know him more as an actor, he debuted as a member of the talented KPop group Astro. Aside from his activities with Astro, he also displayed his vocal prowess thru the numerous OSTs for dramas he appeared in. He appeared in variety shows like Master in the House,Handsome Tigers, Law of the Jungle, and Astroโs pre-debut variety show called OK! Ready.

A Starry Day with Cha Eun Woo: The Press Conference
On the day of the fan meeting, Filipinos from around the world,ย international Arohas, and fans flew in for Cha Eun Wooโs Just One Ten Minute: Starry Caravan in Manila.
A mix of media and lucky fans who won the raffle contest to attend the press conference came to meet the Astro member ahead of his fan meeting. While waiting for the fan meet to begin, Sam Oh kept fans entertained by playing a trivia game about Cha Eun Woo. She also interviewed those who flew in from Davao, Guam, and even Miami.
Moments before Cha Eun Woo entered, the anticipation inside the tent was palpable. Fans were at the edge of their seats, a mix of nervousness and excitement until finally Sam Oh announced that Cha Eun Woo had arrived. The fans went wild with excitement. And just like what everyone had said, he was handsome, but he also had a down-to-earth aura about him that made him more endearing.
His first message to everyone present was this. โHello, guys. Long time no see. I missed you. How about you?โ
Sam Oh then proceeded with the questions from the media. When asked about what memories from the Philippines he wants to recreate, he shared that when he was here, he used to go to a mall once a month and eat kebab.
He also said that when he comes to the Philippines, heโs nervous, happy, and excited to see his fans. He even mentioned that some fans were there at the airport to welcome him when he arrived the day before.
Another question was what was the most noticeable change, and he said that he thinks heโs the same. To this, the fans shouted โbetter!โ to which he responded and agreed by saying that he learned a lot after his debut. He also shared that he doesnโt feel like heโs achieved that much yet and instead of learning something else, heโd rather get better at what he already does.
.@philconcerts asked during #StarryCaravanInMNL press con: You have visited the Philippines a number of times already. How do you feel every time you come back to the Philippines?
He was then asked about his new hobbies. As a person who loves sports, he said that heโd taken up golf and tennis over the last two years.
On what inspired him to write song lyrics, he said it’s the things he sees and experiences.
As for what fans could look forward to at the fan meeting, Cha Eun Woo shared that they tried their best to prepare a show where the fans will have fun and enjoy themselves.
His parting message was this, โLetโs have a great night tonight. Thank you for coming. Thank you for waiting for me. I love you! Mahal ko kayo.โ
The press conference was shortโten minutesโa nod to the name of the fan meeting โJust One Ten Minuteโ. As the story goes, it only takes ten minutes for someone to fall in love with Cha Eun Woo. And in ten minutes, he did capture the attention of everyone in the room.
A few hours later, fans were already at the Araneta Coliseum meeting up with each other, giving away and receiving Cha Eun Woo and Astro-related freebies such as albums, pins, photo cards, and notepads. Online friendships turned into real-life friendships.
Inside the venue, fans were taking their turn to take photos by the stage backdrop as Astro songs played in the background. Finally, the lights dimmed, the crowd screamed and the coliseum lit up in a purple galaxy of robongs as a short introduction video flashed on the screen.
And just like magic, Cha Eun Woo rose from behind the large LED screen on stage as the first few notes of โFirst Loveโ filled the coliseum. โNa-miss ko kayo!โ He said before singing the first verse.
The coliseum was ringing with the crowd’s cheers and screams that Cha Eun Woo kept signaling to increase the volume from his earpiece, so he could hear the music. He sported his brilliant blue custom microphone and in-ear piece gifted to him by international fans.
Other Astro members also received custom microphones from fans, so it was a sweet gesture for him to bring his custom microphone on tour with him and a way to show his appreciation to his fans.
His live vocals were stable and sounded just like the recorded version. The song ended with him doing the signature L pose from the First Love choreography. He was amazed at how loud the crowd was and said, โWow!โ
After introducing himself, he teased the crowd by saying, โDid you guys miss me? Really? How much?โ before proceeding to smile his signature eye smile.
Sam Oh joined him on stage and then began the first segment of the show called โFact Checkโ where she would read statements and Eun Woo would have to agree or disagree by holding up a placard: an O if he agreed or an X if he disagreed.
He was asked about various things from the type of gift-giver he was (he gives gifts that are useful), which seat on the plane he preferred (the aisle seat), and whether or not heโd wait in line for a really good restaurant (heโd rather go to a different restaurant), and how heโd react to encountering a person he doesnโt remember but says hi to him (he will say hi and not let that person know that he doesnโt remember).
He also shared that he liked Philippine mangoes and mangosteen, and his secret was to look fresh after a flight (he said thereโs no particular thing and that he just does what he wants).
He also shared his airplane routine which was to get comfy by wearing slippers, a blanket, his Airpods, and requesting a sleeping mask from the staff, which most likely means he naps on the plane.
He was also asked what heโd like people to remember him by and he said he wanted to be remembered as a good boy. This reminds me of a nickname fans have given him: Good Guy Cha.
But what made fans scream loud was when he was asked to give a message to them. He said the crowd had a lot of energy. โYou guys are super hot,โ he quipped and the crowd went wild.
After โFact Checkโ, the next segment was โ5 Minutes Straightโ where Eun Woo introduced what he called the main work of Actor Cha Eun Woo and reenacted scenes from each drama.
The first was his first lead role in My ID is Gangnam Beauty. He was asked to reenact the scene where he confessed to Kang Mi-rae. Though he admitted he was a bit embarrassed to do so, he still reenacted it and acted shy afterwards.
He introduced his drama Top Management and mentioned that his character there was similar to him as well as his thoughts when filming the music video for that drama.
Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung was next. After sharing more about his role in the drama, he was asked to say his lines: the comforting words to Goo Hae-ryung when she was crying.
Last but not least was True Beautyโa crowd favoriteโwhere he reenacted his character Lee Suho getting drunk for the first time. Aside from that, he sang the famous โOttokeโ song twiceโthe second time with the fans singing along.

โDo you guys want to see me often?โ He asked as the crowd screamed loud. โThen Iโll come often.โ He then proceeded to perform his next song, a mash-up of two Shawn Mendes songs.
The lights dimmed and the crowd was a galaxy of purple as they began to chant his real name, โLee Dong-min! Lee Dong-min! Lee Dong-min!โ He sat on the piano and played the intro of โWhen Youโre Gone.โ When the beat changed to a faster one, he stood up and sang โHold Onโ and the lights went off again.
For his encore, Cha Eun Woo rose from the LED screen on stage carrying a basket of roses as he sang “Aloha”. After singing the first verse, he stood up and went to the crowd to give the roses to his fans. The next song was another OST, but this time from True Beauty, which was โLove So Fineโ.
Before the hi-hello session after the program, Eun Woo took a photo with the crowd and a heartwarming video Filipino fans made for him flashed on screen showcasing his various sides as an actor, idol, host, and variety show member as well as photos of fans with their messages for him.
He sat on stage watching in awe, appreciation, and love and he even grinned while watching the fan project. โEvery time I come to the Philippines I always get a lot of gifts from you guys. I was very touched. Thank you so much for these unforgettable memories.โ And for many Arohas, the fan meeting was a lasting, unforgettable memory of that starry night with their first love Cha Eun Woo.

#4 “Once In A Lifetime”
Aside from tracks from their critically acclaimed album Wake Up, Sunshine, fans of All Time Low in the Philippines can look forward to the debut of their single, “Once In A Lifetime”, released in 2021. The song was the first single of the band following the release of the Wake Up, Sunshine album.
#5 “PMA (Post Modern Anxiety)”

Previously, DPR announced the America and Europe leg of the upcoming world tour that begins on September 8 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Aside from Manila, the crew will bring the tour to Asian cities like Tokyo, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, and Kuala Lumpur.

Head In The Clouds (HITC), a music and arts event hosted by the record label and media business 88rising, will debut this year following a two-year absence due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.The festival will feature renowned artists from around the world, as well as stunning production concepts and Philippine arts exhibitions and cuisines.
The festival debuted in 2018 as the first Asian-focused music festival in the United States. It became a two-day festival in 2021 and returned to Los Angeles, California, in August 2022.
It was a different kind of show that transpired last August 6 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Despite the circumstances, Super Junior stood on stage, personally addressed the situation, and serenaded Philippine ELFs.
On the morning of August 6, 2:06 a.m. Philippine Time, Label SJ released a statement, informing the public of the passing of Eunhyuk’s father.
“It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Eunhyuk’s father.” They added, “Due to the sudden news, Eunhyuk was unable to depart for the SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR – SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD IN MANILA concert scheduled for today.” ELFs from all over the world sent their prayers and condolences to Eunhyuk and his family.
At 12:35 p.m. on the same day, Label SJ again came forward to give notice regarding SUPER SHOW 9 IN MANILA slated to take place at 5 p.m. on August 6 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
“First of all, after many long discussions between the promoter and Super Junior members, we both agreed that it will be difficult to properly hold SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR – SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD IN MANILA as scheduled. However, the members wanted to meet and greet the fans who came to Manila to attend the concert, so we’d like to ask everyone with tickets to enter the concert venue on time.”
Full of understanding and respect, Philippine ELFs showed up and came together to relay their sympathy to Eunhyuk and his family by tying black ribbons on their lightsticks. The usual loudness at the arena during concerts turned into a solemn gathering as fans comfort each other and the members.

Kring Kim took the stage to read out PULP Live World and Inang Happee Sy-Go’s statement. “We would like to sincerely thank all ELF who came to SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR – SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD IN MANILA concert here in the MOA Arena today. Marami pong salamat. You are already part of history for coming despite everything that has happened and everything that you know about what’s going on this afternoon.”
And Philippine ELFs assured that they understand and that it’s okay. But Super Junior did not also let the opportunity pass without showing fans their appreciation and gratitude. Members Shindong, Ryeowook, Donghae, Yesung, Kyuhyun, and Leeteuk greeted fans and relayed heartfelt messages of thank you, sorry, and “I love you”.
“This is my first time to have this opening ment. Other than being nervous about performing in front of you. My apologies and sincerest sorry are the expressions I can only give you. And to the member who is facing an unfortunate situation in Korea, Eunhyuk, I am deeply saddened right now. And the situation that we cannot give back the long time that you have waited for us to perform in Manila, the only expression I can tell you is I’m sorry. I promise that we will make sure that we will complete this performance with the complete members of Super Junior next time. Sorry and mahal kita,” said Donghae.
“Mabuhay! We actually went through a lot of discussions about whether we should come to Manila or not. But eventually, we decided that we should, of course, meet our ELFs who have waited for us. Arriving here in Manila, we had discussions until 3 a.m., 4 a.m. Our Super Show is happy, fun, and gives you hope. To give you more fun, excitement, and hope, this concert is not canceled, but rather is postponed,” Leeteuk said.
The leader of Super Junior also comforted fans by saying that they can think of it as buying the tickets early. He added that he personally talked to the promoter to hold a two-day concert next time. “To my love ELFs and to our staff, to be all happy, we will come back as soon as possible and greet you again. Here in the center is Siwon and beside me, someone who is like a doppelganger, Eunhyuk,” he said.
To the forever love between Super Junior and ELFs, Shindong, Ryeowook, Donghae, Yesung, Kyuhyun, and Leeteuk serenaded the fans with “My Wish”, “Callin’”, and “More Days with You” as their gift.
The members reiterated their promise to come back and meet their ELFs once again. And Philippine ELFs promised that they will continue walking the flower road with them.

Following the postponement, PULP Live World assured ticketholders that their tickets for the August 6 show will be honored on the later date that will be set. “Detailed explanation on ticket and new show schedule will be announced in the upcoming days. We ask for your understanding with this notice and sincerely appreciate your patience.”

Song #1: Mr. Simple

Super Junior released “Mr. Simple” as the lead single of their fifth studio album of the same name back in 2011 — more than a decade ago. Still, the 85th best-selling single of 2011 in Japan continues to sweep the world and presents the SJ Funky brand that will forever remind us of that era dominated by the boy group.
And the accolades received by “Mr. Simple” were testaments of its influence and success. “Rokkugo (๋ก๊พธ๊ฑฐ!)” takes us back to 15 years ago, having been released in 2007 by Super Junior-T — the second official subunit of Super Junior and the first idol group that focused on trot music. One of the boy group’s well-known songs, “Rokkugo (๋ก๊พธ๊ฑฐ!)” became the 16th best-selling record and best-selling single of 2007 in South Korea.
Song #4: Mamacita
Mamacita, 2014
The comeback that marked the return of Leeteuk and Heechul following the end of their mandatory military service, “Mamacita” served as the lead single of the boy group’s seventh studio album, Mamacita, released in South Korea. The song earned Super Junior nine music show wins.

If “Devil” marked Super Junior’s tenth anniversary, the release of “Black Suit” came in commemoration of the boy group’s 12th anniversary. The song, released on November 6, 2017, served as the title track of their eighth studio album, Play.
The dance-pop song peaked at number eight on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, while the album peaked at number one on Gaon Weekly Album and number three on Billboard’s Global 200 charts.

Initially released as a digital single on March 9, 2009, the forever iconic, forever legendary “Sorry, Sorry” later served as the lead single of Super Junior’s third studio album and the best-selling album of 2009 in South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, China, and the Philippines — Sorry, Sorry.
“Sorry, Sorry” earned Super Junior ten music show wins and received critical and commercial success all over Asia, cementing their position as the Hallyu Kings. Moreover, this particular comeback saw their return as a full group following their sub-unit activities in China and South Korea and their last comeback as 13.

Song #8: Bonamana

The release of “Bonamana” came after the success of their Asia tour, Super Show 2, which saw them perform live on the Philippine concert stage for the first time.

The Road: Keep On Going, Vol. 1, 2022
In comparison to the other songs listed on this list, “Mango” is a new addition to the vast and ever-growing discography of Super Junior, being released on July 12 of this year. The song is the lead single of volume one of the boy group’s 11th studio album, The Road: Keep On Going.
Still, “Mango” and other tracks from the new album take ELFs to a different level of nostalgia as it showcases Super Junior’s longevity — the first SM group to release 11 studio albums in South Korea — and promises that Super Junior’s path will continue. The OG Hallyu Kings will return to the Philippines on August 6 for their sixth solo concert in the country — SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD in Manila.
