This piano-driven ballad explores the feeling of uncertainty from a seemingly bleak relationship. Something’s changed, but you can’t figure out the very reason why. You keep going round in circles and you’re unsure if you’re still in a healthy relationship. The song captures the complex emotions from an unforeseen heartache.
With this new release, Bey shows another side to her musicality. We are definitely impressed as she continues to push her limits, proving she can stand toe to toe with tenured OPM acts when it comes to what she can give to her audience!
We can’t wait to see what she has in store for all of us in 2022!

Barangay LS 97.1 disc jock Papa Obet is now officially a recording artist as he releases “Papa Obet Sessions” EP under GMA Music today, December 10, on-air and on digital streaming platforms worldwide.
Containing four tracks: “Ikaw Lang At Ako,” (composed and originally performed by Janno Gibbs), “Kung Mababalik Ko Lang,” by 604, “Kung Malaya Lang Ako,” by Kris Lawrence and Papa Obet’s original composition “Ang Una Kong Pasko,” this EP is a dream come true for him who shared during his interview that the ambition written in his high school yearbook was “to be a successful recording artist.”
“The EP was inspired by the Spotlight Music Sessions, an online music channel which showcases the talent of Pinoy artists through live performances,” he says.
“Ang Una Kong Pasko” is dedicated to the OFWs who are spending their Christmas away from their loved ones. “It was inspired by my experience when I had to spend Christmas on my own for the first time. And I dedicate this to the OFWs who are miles away from their families and are celebrating Christmas far from home for the first time,” shares Papa Obet.
Before becoming a Barangay LS disc jock, Papa Obet used to join various singing contests including GMA’s talent competition Protégé. He is also the songwriter behind Barangay LS’ theme song “Tayo Ay Forever” sang by Kapuso artists Ken Chan and Rita Daniela.
“I still can’t believe that my singing career could actually get this far. I’ve always wanted to be a radio DJ, but I’ve been singing since I was a child. I would join singing contests in Bataan and sometimes win. Then, I became a DJ here at Barangay LS and I’ve been here for 10 years. And now, GMA Music has given me an opportunity to be an official and legit recording artist and it has been really fun working with them,” says Papa Obet.
Papa Obet Sessions EP is now available for streaming on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital music streaming services worldwide.

SEOUL – December 3, 2021 – 21st century pop icons BTS dropped a brand new holiday remix of “Butter” today.
The new remix is a carol pop genre track that underscores the trademark bright energy of the original version with an added touch of warmth and coziness reminiscent of a festive ambience, just in time for the holiday season.
Earlier this year, BTS topped the Billboard Hot 100 for ten weeks with “Butter,” a global mega-hit dubbed 2021’s song of the summer. The song also earned BTS “Artist of the Year” award at the 2021 American Music Awards. In addition, the septet received their second “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” Grammy nomination with the track. BTS released the remix to express their gratitude for the enthusiastic support and love from their beloved fans, ARMY.
The band recently reunited with their fans through ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA,’ their first offline concert since 2019, at LA’s SoFi Stadium on November 27, November 28, December 1, and December 2.
About BTS
BTS, an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or “Beyond the Scene,” is a GRAMMY-nominated South Korean group that has been capturing the hearts of millions of fans globally since its debut in June 2013. The members of BTS are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. Gaining recognition for their authentic and self-produced music, top-notch performances, and the way they interact with their fans, BTS has established themselves as 21st century pop icons breaking countless world records. While imparting a positive influence through activities such as the LOVE MYSELF campaign and the UN ‘Speak Yourself’ speech, the band has mobilized millions of fans across the world (named ARMY), collected six No.1 Billboard Hot 100 singles in a span of a year and just over a month, performed multiple sold-out stadium shows across the world. They were also named TIME’s Entertainer of the Year 2020. BTS was nominated two years in a row for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 63rd and 64th GRAMMY Awards and has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards like the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards (Artist of the Year 2021) and MTV Video Music Awards.
And the clock strikes at 11:11, you can’t help but to whisper a wish. They call it Angel Numbers and the possibilities to see it are endless. Just keep your eyes open and you’ll definitely notice them. For the fast rising electro pop artist, Lesha, these numbers have a different effect on her.
Asked on what Lesha usually whispers silently when the clock hits repeating number sequences, “Literally anything! I usually like manifesting career or life opportunities because 11:11 is actually a reminder from your angels to reflect on your purpose.”
Lesha taking on tougher challenges at this point in her career and setting her motivation conquering the bigger stage. All that she can say is that she’s currently living the dream and she’s just open to whatever the Universe has in store for her next.
“At this point where I am on a journey on breaking it into the International stage, represent the Filipino music industry globally, and hopefully on a world tour. With all that I’ve achieved so far, I’m deeply humbled and somehow extremely in awed of how far I’ve come in my career. Never in my life I would’ve expected to release a global collaboration album or be under Lauv or Finneas’ label, AWAL.”
Filipino experimental/alternative artist BLASTER redefines the Christmas tune canon with a new single that essays the profound sadness and grief of celebrating the holidays in the time of pandemic. His latest offering “PASKO’Y HINDI NA MASAYA,” out today via Island Records Philippines, is dedicated to countless of people whose lives were hit hard by unfortunate circumstances, and are dreading of how challenging the days might be—be it experiencing Christmas with the loss of a loved one or abandoning expectations at least for this season’s run as a way of coping.
“This one is not really about celebrating Christmas,” says the eclectic singer-songwriter and producer. “It’s more of a tribute to those that we’ve lost, and a nostalgic yearning of how Christmas used to be.” While BLASTER’s “PASKO’Y HINDI NA MASAYA” doesn’t fall under the conventional holiday songs that articulate the merry warmth of the yuletide spirit, the modern day anthem gives a sobering reality to some folks who happen to experience Christmas in a different light, recognizing sadness and nostalgia as they find a way to rise above life’s obstacles. With production by BLASTER himself and Max Cinco, “PASKO’Y HINDI NA MASAYA” retains the sparse but innovative musical direction that the prolific artist is known for. But what makes it extra special is BLASTER’s ability to cut across universal themes with a balance of accessibility and experimentation. “I decided to make it sound old and new, while maintaining some classic melodies in the mix,” shares the Disko Forever act. “I’ve also incorporated some electronic and synth elements to give it a more contemporary flavor. In terms of lyrics, Dan Tanedo helped me with writing the song.” The holiday track will be accompanied by a music video featuring a compilation of old Christmas videos from the 80s and 90s.
BLASTER’s “Pasko’y Hindi Na Masaya” is out now on all streaming platforms worldwide via Island Records PhilippinesWith a knack for making experimental pop music that is characterized by immutable prettiness, BLASTER is set to show himself as a solo artist. As the lead guitarist for his former band IV of Spades, Blaster has endeared fans and peers in the industry with his inventive but technically adept musicianship. Outside of his work with his former band, Blaster has worked with several artists, including doing production work for alt-R&B artist dia maté on the luscious summertime tune, “Dream,” and jamming with artists such as Ebe Dancel and Hilera’s Chris Padilla at some point in his career.
Now signed to Island Records Philippines, BLASTER is ready to release new music that strikes a balance between remarkable restraint and sonic adventurousness, seemingly inspired by outlandish personalities in music such as Radiohead and David Bowie, and genres that range from art rock to space rock, funk to Japanese city pop. So far, he has currently recorded demos for his upcoming releases, which will see the light of day soon: there’s the deceptively simple “Disko Forever,” which pays tribute to a glorious era in music, while also dressing it up with woozily beautiful things this side of Krautrock and modern electronica, and the lighthearted and gorgeous number “Nararamdaman,” which showcases Blaster’s minimal instrumentation and guitar/bass skills.
The 21-year-old singer-songwriter and producer also reveals that he is channeling his daily life experiences and random observations through music, purposefully aligning it with his brooding, socially aware, and intimate worldview. His writing feels more personal and honest this time around—not afraid to create artistic statements that double as confessionals. FOLLOW BLASTER Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Youtube
BURBANK, Calif – Nov. 29, 2021 – Hollywood Records is pleased to announce the release dates for the soundtrack from the highly-anticipated film “West Side Story,” directed by Academy Award® winner Steven Spielberg, from a screenplay by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award® winner Tony Kushner. “West Side Story” tells the classic tale of fierce rivalries and young love in 1957 New York City. From 20th Century Studios, The Walt Disney Company will release “West Side Story” in U.S. theaters on December 10, 2021.
“West Side Story” has been adapted for the screen from the original 1957 Broadway show. Original choreography by Jerome Robbins, based on the stage play, book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, play conceived, directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, music by Leonard Bernstein.
Spielberg said, “I dedicated this movie to my father, but it was my mother’s love of music, combined with my insatiable appetite to understand everything about movie making, that led me to start collecting motion picture soundtrack albums when I was young. I loved the ‘West Side Story’ cast album from the first time I listened to it. As a kid I could sing every one of its songs by heart – and I did sing them, until I wore out the patience of my entire family. The score feels like it’s always been part of me, and I believe that this is the greatest music ever written for musical theater. My sincere hope is that young people out there find this album and fall in love with it as hard as I did.”
The West Side Story Original Motion Picture Soundtrack features 21 songs from the film and will be released in both standard digital and physical (CD and vinyl) configurations, as well as a digital release in Dolby Atmos Music – a new technology placing the listener inside the song in a spatial way, revealing every detail of the music with unparalleled clarity and depth. Both digital versions are set for release on Dec. 3. The CD will be available on Dec. 10 and can be pre-ordered here; the vinyl will be available in early 2022. Both physical versions will include liner notes by “West Side Story” Music Consultant, Oscar®-winning composer John Williams (“Schindler’s List,” “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,” “Star Wars,” “Jaws,” “Fiddler on the Roof”).
This reimagining of the beloved musical stars Ansel Elgort (Tony), Ariana DeBose (Anita), David Alvarez (Bernardo), Mike Faist (Riff), Brian d’Arcy James (Officer Krupke), Corey Stoll (Lieutenant Schrank), Josh Andrés Rivera (Chino), with Rita Moreno (as Valentina, who owns the corner store in which Tony works) and introducing Rachel Zegler (María). Moreno – one of only three artists to be honored with Academy®, Emmy®, GRAMMY®, Tony® and Peabody Awards – also serves as one of the film’s executive producers.
Bringing together the best of both Broadway and Hollywood, the film’s creative team includes Kushner, who also served as an executive producer; Tony Award® winner Justin Peck, who choreographed the musical numbers in the film; renowned Los Angeles Philharmonic conductor and GRAMMY® Award winner Gustavo Dudamel, who helmed the recording of the iconic score; Academy Award®–nominated composer and conductor David Newman (“Anastasia”), who arranged the score; Tony Award®–winning composer Jeanine Tesori (“Fun Home,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie”), who supervised the cast on vocals; and GRAMMY®-nominated music supervisor Matt Sullivan (“Beauty and the Beast,” “Chicago,” “Hairspray”), who serves as executive music producer. The film is produced by Spielberg, p.g.a., Academy Award®–nominated producer Kristie Macosko Krieger, p.g.a., and Tony Award®–winning producer Kevin McCollum.
Gustavo Dudamel—renowned music director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the National Youth Orchestra of Venezuela and the Paris Opéra—was engaged to conduct the orchestra for music recordings. The music was performed by the New York Philharmonic with additional music performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. David Newman, a celebrated arranger and conductor who has worked on more than 100 movies, handles both arrangements, as well as some conducting. Dudamel said, “‘West Side Story,’ for me, as for all of us in the music world, is part of my DNA. Every single melody in it is so natural and easy for anyone to process. Naturally, it felt right to work with the New York Philharmonic, Bernstein’s own orchestra, and have the musicians be part of the new chapter of this masterpiece.”

Milky Chance hit “Colorado” is currently #4 at Alternative Radio in the US and has over 65 million global streams. The group is currently on a US tour of some of their largest venues to date with many dates already sold out. See below for a full list of remaining shows.

Following the October release of his critically acclaimed album, The Atlas Underground Fire, Rock & Roll icon and two-time Grammy winner Tom Morello surprised fans with the announcement of his latest project, a sister album entitled The Atlas Underground Flood. Morello has spoken at length in recent interviews that the collaborative process led to countless songs created during the pandemic, and a second album seemed almost inevitable. Featuring a slew of all-star collaborators including Nathaniel Rateliff, Jim James, IDLES, Ben Harper, Alex Lifeson, Kirk Hammett, X Ambassadors, Barns Courtney, Manchester Orchestra, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and more, Morello will continue to showcase his signature extraordinary guitar-playing across these 12 new genre-bending tracks.
Morello – co-founder of Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave and Prophets of Rage – will release this forthcoming album The Atlas Underground Flood on December 3rd via Mom + Pop Music. The record is available for pre-order now HERE. To kick off the album launch, Morello released three new tracks today: “Human” featuring Barns Courtney, “Hard Times” featuring Nathaniel Rateliff, Jim Jones, and Chipotle Joe and “Raising Hell” featuring Ben Harper. Last night, Morello was joined by grandson on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform the television debut of their hit single, “Hold The Line”, off of Morello’s sister album The Atlas Underground Fire – watch the performance HERE.
Of the new album, Morello said: “The Atlas Underground Flood finishes what The Atlas Underground Fire started. Fire and Flood are my ‘London Calling.’ Admiring The Clash at their apex moment, I sought to make a double album where artistic intent supersedes genre. I aimed to forge a central curated vision to tie together a sonically fearless, wild, and wide-ranging musical ambition with a tremendous cast of collaborators. And of course, there are many guitar solos.”
These featured tracks give fans a taste of what’s to come from the highly anticipated sister album to The Atlas Underground Fire, which debuted last month to both fan and critical acclaim. Rock Cellar Magazine praised, “The Atlas Underground Fire is a wildly experimental and rewarding listen from Tom Morello, one that allows him to venture outside the realm of ‘guitarist’ and immerse himself in collaborations with peers that pushes the envelope further, all the while adding to his singularly versatile catalog of music.” The album was also lauded by Rolling Stone Australia as, “a record as powerful as it is eclectic, and monumental as it is varied,” while NME proclaimed it as being “the definitive mixtape of future rock & roll.”
Tom Morello is widely known as a barrier breaking guitarist who continues to push the limits and prove the transformative power of music. Throughout his remarkable career, Morello has collaborated with everyone from Wu Tang Clan to Johnny Cash. On The Atlas Underground Flood, as he did in 2018’s The Atlas Underground & 2021’s The Atlas Underground Fire, Morello continues to create never-before-heard sounds featuring his legendary hard-hitting guitar riffs alongside the project’s cast of top-notch collaborators.

Malaysian altpop artist NYK tells the story of how he’s been feeling with his new release ‘Anxious’, now out on all digital streaming platforms via Sequence/Ultra Records. Produced and written together with friend and collaborator bruises, he hopes that listeners who have felt the same way will find solace and comfort in the track, which marks a sonic departure from some of his more recent, upbeat work, and has more in common with earlier material from his debut EP UNLOVABLE.
“ ‘This is a very personal track. It’s basically a narrative of my mental health issues throughout the past year or two – my struggles with anxiety and depression. Some of these issues have been caused by the outside – by external factors. Some of them were caused by myself. It’s just a story of the ups and downs that come with that. “ – NYK
With a refreshing indie-pop/R&B sound that progresses with every release, NYK has found success in Asia over the past two years. Since the start of 2020, he’s garnered over 100 million streams in China via his collaborations with Lil Ghost and Shelhiel, an Anugerah Muzik Indonesia nomination for his work with Coldiac, and signed with acclaimed US-based label Sequence/Ultra Records.
His current project is a darker, more mature take on relationships and life – both from a narrative perspective, and in terms of the soundscape. Prominent collaborators on upcoming music include Singapore’s brb. and Indonesia’s Dipha Barus, among others. Take a look at NYK’s one-sheet here.

A relationship that can weather every storm is every couple’s dream and promise to their significant other.
For OPM Acoustic Princess and Kapuso singer Princess Velasco, this vow is immortalized in her latest single under GMA Music, ‘Ang Ating Pag-ibig,’ released today, November 19.
Written by her husband Mark Herbert Rosario in 2013 as a gift on their wedding day, Princess felt the need that the message of the song is worth sharing to the world, whether you’re a couple in love or an individual feeling the love from family and friends.
“The song was written by my husband in 2013. The first and only time it was performed in public was during our wedding. It was his surprise to me. Una ko siyang narinig nung wedding reception namin. The song is not just about us. It’s about love. It’s about finding the person you’ve been praying for, waiting for, and the promise to stay with that person despite anything that the world or universe throws your way,” says Princess.
Princess also explained that her contribution to the song is the second verse. It was her answer to her husband’s words and melody.
“Parang sinagot ko lang ang words niya. Before I presented it to GMA Music, I recorded it with my guitar and sent it to him and sobra siyang natuwa. I’m sure a lot of people can relate to it kasi ‘pag nahanap mo ang ganung klaseng pag-ibig and kapag pinakasalan mo ang tao na ‘yun and the commitment is there, you can weather any storm and I want to share that with others,” she says.
Filled with melodies of love, the song takes Princess back to her wedding day when she was standing by the church door ready to walk the aisle and marry her husband.
“Naalala ko ang moment na nasa labas ako ng pintuan ng simbahan tapos hindi ako makahinga and kinakabahan ako. Ganun ang nafi-feel ng bride, excited ka na kinakabahan na hindi mo maintindihan. It’s a day I will never forget. It’s one of the best days of my life. Hindi perfect ang marriage namin and I am really thankful to God na because of our love and our commitment, we now have three beautiful children,” says Princess who is a wonderful mother to Kobe, Milo, and Sari.
Princess considers “Ang Ating Pag-ibig” as not just a song for your husband or your wife but a song for your loved one, whether it’s your child, your parents, or your friend.
“Ang Ating Pag-ibig” is now available on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and other digital stores worldwide.

Promising hip-hop quartet VVS Collective pays tribute to the women of the countryside whose distinct looks, effortless grace, and captivating intelligence redefine conventional standards of beauty.
On their lilting anthem “Probinsyana,” the rap crew delivers a romantic serenade for every ‘country’ lass who took their breath away in recent years.
“Probinsyana is a feel-good track which many Filipinos can relate to,” the group describes the appeal of their latest single. “It’s about searching and pursuing that dream girl who lives in the suburbs or the province. It expounds on the qualities of a province girl who’s simple yet has everything you’re looking for in a girl. With the thousands of islands that the Philippines has, the track will surely transcend to all Probinsyanas all over the country.”
What makes it extra special is their attempt to take a stand against urbanite snobbery and Manila-centrism in a song that celebrates women of all kinds, regardless of their geographical and social background.
As Gabrang puts it, “let’s face it: there’s prejudice here in Manila towards Bisaya/Probinsyano. We see people make fun of them, and sometimes, they’re treated as inferior because of the way they talk, their skin color, and their background. Probinsyana is our way to boost their confidence, and celebrate their inner beauty and captivating uniqueness. I hope it inspires them to look things differently and be proud of who they are and where they come from.”
If the sparkly, pop-infused single is any indication, VVS Collective proves that they are primed for mainstream crossover—thanks to their incredible ear for hooks and melodies, and the lyrical sincerity that they effortlessly bring to the table.
King Promdi, who is part of the hip-hop group, produced the track and incorporated a sticky, ear-candy of a chorus deserving of a viral TikTok dance. The result is a summer jam for all seasons whose catchiness is hard to ignore.
VVS Collective’s “Probinsyana” is out now on all streaming platforms via Def Jam Philippines.
