From Day One to a Future Perfect with Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki
Formed through the survival competition series I-Land, ENHYPEN, composed of Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki, received much anticipation from fans and the public ahead of their debut. Their official social media channels garnered more than one million followers ahead of their debut and their first extended play amassed more than 150,000 pre-orders within two days.
The boy group officially debuted with the release of Border: Day One, led by the single “Given-Taken”, on November 30, 2020. The extended play took the number one spot on the Gaon Album Chart and broke the record for the highest sales for a K-Pop group debuted in 2020 with more than 280,000 albums sold in its first week of release.
Such success extended to their next releases, breaking their previously set records with every album. Only a year after their debut, the boy group became million-sellers through their first studio album, Dimension: Dilemma which sold more than 1.1 million copies in two months following its release. They then repeated that feat with their third extended play, Manifesto: Day 1. The achievements made them the fastest K-Pop group to sell more than one million copies of two albums.
ENHYPEN continued to receive recognition for their works from various award-giving bodies, including Album Bonsang from the Golden Disc Awards, Best Performance Award from the Seoul Music Awards, and Artist of the Year from The Fact Music Awards. Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki also received nominations in this year’s Mnet Asian Music Awards under the categories Worldwide Fans’ Choice Top 10, Best Male Group, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Vocal Performance (Group) for “Polaroid Love”.
In addition to all the accolades, this year marked another milestone for the boy group as they embark on their first world tour, MANIFESTO, which kicked off with two concerts in Seoul in September. They then brought the tour to the United States, followed by Japan. In 2023, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki will perform in Thailand and the Philippines in January and February 2023, respectively.
ENHYPEN 1ST WORLD TOUR – MANIFESTO in Manila is presented by PULP Live World and Happee Hour.

A memory to be cherished, the First Parade in Manila was a testament to Kang Daniel’s unmistakable charm, ability, and sincerity as well as to the admiration and love of Philippine DANITYs that he has received a thousand-fold.
South Korean singer-actor Kang Daniel fired off the magnificent fireworks of his KANG DANIEL CONCERT – FIRST PARADE in Manila last October 22 at the New Frontier Theater, heralding the commencement of his first Asia concert tour in three years since his debut.
The singer-actor sparkled brighter than ever in the midst of deafening cheers from his Philippine DANITYs, who warmly and passionately welcomed him back to the Philippine concert stage with an opening salvo of “Flash” and “Parade.”
Kang Daniel greeted his fans with a broad smile, saying, “Long time no see, Philippines!” and a 90-degree bow to thank everyone who came out to attend his First Parade in Manila. He expressed his excitement at returning to see his Philippine DANITYs again, and he urged everyone to simply enjoy the show โ-his first solo concert in Manila.
Ready to offer his fans the finest show possible, the multi-hyphenate began with fan favorites “Don’t Tell Me,” “Waves,” and “Touchin’.” He then displayed a distinct charm with his brilliant energy in his stages of “Jealous,” “2U,” and “Upside Down.” He also expressed his wish that his music would continue to offer people joy.
Getting to Know the Nation’s Center More at First Parade in Manila
Kang Daniel revealed more about himself by playing a balance game in which he had to choose between two possibilities. Fans discovered from the game that he would rather have a cellphone crash than a computer crash and that sleeping as much as you want for a day is a more wonderful day for him than eating only his favorite delectable meal.
When asked to choose between traveling back in time and going forward, the singer-actor paused for a moment before selecting the latter. “There are people who could be hurt if I go back in time,” he explained. He went on to say that he wants to enjoy the current moment. Kang Daniel will notify his family and friends if he wins the lotto because he trusts them. He also loves sour food to salty food, finds doing aegyo in front of his parents more awkward than sexy dancing in front of his friends, and prefers having no internet on his cellphone to having a cellphone with a 1% charge.
Kang Daniel stated that it is more intolerable to ban gaming for a year than to restrict food delivery for a year. The singer-actor faced conflict before making the decision. “When you order delivery food, you must play a game. You have to order delivery food if you play a game,” he explained. He also stated that he needed the capacity to remind himself of things he had forgotten when he went outdoors rather than knowing where the missing items were in the house. Finally, he will prefer a life remembered by loved ones even if he does not remember them over a life remembered by the people he loves even if they do not remember him.
The singer-actor was back in full performance gear with “How We Live.”
From magnificent stages to a poignant conclusion
Kang Daniel, returning to the stage as a dapper man in white, first serenaded Philippine DANITYs with “Misunderstood” and “Loser” before turning up the heat at the New Frontier Theater with his back-to-back performances of “Antidote” and “Paranoia.”
Speaking to fans, the singer-actor reflected on his solo career, recalling his albums, songs, and OST appearances. After making his solo debut in 2019, 2022 marks his third debut anniversary โ- a milestone for which he gratefully acknowledges his fans. โDANITYs recognize my effort more than I do. You guys know very well the feelings Iโm feeling. Iโm so thankful. I am happy as you are,โ he said, adding that he’s glad his music energizes people.
Kang Daniel also offered them the songs “Save U” and “Moment.” And Philippine DANITYs ensured Kang Daniel felt all the love that night by creating a special banner project for him during his “1000x” stage โ- a vow that DANITY IS FOREVER YOURS A 1000x. He then concluded the First Parade in Manila with an encore performance of “The Story” and a promise to return to Philippine DANITYs as soon as possible.
It was my first performance on my first Asia tour, so I was very excited and I will never forget it. I was worried that it would be difficult for the audience because of the rain, but the warm cheers and enthusiastic support gave me a lot of strength. Todayโs performance was held in manila. I hope it will be a good memory for the fans.
Kang Daniel
KANG DANIEL says see you as soon as possible, PH DANITYs 😍 Kang Daniel wrapped up #FirstParadeInManila concert with The Story!
Following the First Parade in Manila, Kang Daniel’s concert tour will take him through Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macau before continuing on to the Americas and Europe for a great world tour.

TXT consistently produces excellent works that contribute to their impressive catalog and make up an exceptional career — from their debut to their most current release.
It is no secret how the debut of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, commonly known as TXT, took the K-Pop world into a frenzy. The first boy group to debut in six years under Big Hit Entertainment (now, Big Hit Music) since BTS, TXT delivered more than the world asked for as they set record after record with their debut extended play, The Dream Chapter: Star.
Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai broke the record for the most-viewed K-Pop debut music video within 24 hours for a boy group and the most-liked K-Pop debut music video within 24 hours with the music video of “Crown”. The single also debuted at the top of the Billboard World Digital Songs chart, while The Dream Chapter: Star set the record for the highest-charting debut album on Billboard by any male K-Pop group.
With the success of their debut EP, it is no longer surprising that TXT swept new artist and rookie awards from several award-giving bodies. They are the 10th best-selling Korean act in Gaon Chart history within the last ten years — a feat they achieved only three years after their debut. Cementing their position as one of the top K-Pop groups in their generation, the boy group is unstoppable in taking over charts, selling out concert venues, and putting their name on the top of the game.
Another First with TXT
And TXT is set to add another milestone in their career as Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai make their way to the Philippine concert stage for the first time with back-to-back ACT: LOVE SICK in Manila concerts at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 27 and 28.
Only a week to go before the big day, allow us to countdown to the special day ahead with a list of seven B-sides we are earnestly praying to hear TXT perform live.
Blue Orangeade
The Dream Chapter: Star, 2019
We begin this list with a B-side from their debut extended play, The Dream Chapter: Star — “Blue Orangeade”. Produced by Slow Rabbit and written by the Big Hit Music producer together with Moonshine, Cazzi Opeia, Ellen Berg, and Supreme Boi, “Blue Orangeade” opens the EP with its energetic beats.
The song’s fundamental messageโthat a relationship can flourish despite seeming differencesโis conveyed through a track that is chock-full of clever allusions. The song’s title, which features the complementary hues of blue and orange that also produce the sharpest contrast when combined, makes the main topic even more obvious.
Magic Island
The Dream Chapter: Magic, 2019
TXT did not slow down after their great debut; rather, they kept their motors running in preparation for another release that will shock the K-Pop scene. October 2019 saw the boy group return with their first studio album, The Dream Chapter: Magic.
And in this list, we highlight the sixth track in the album — “Magic Island”. Crystal Bell of MTV named the song one of The Best K-Pop B-sides Of 2019, describing it as a subdued track that inevitably lulls you into a feeling of deep serenity.
Maze in the Mirror
The Dream Chapter: Eternity, 2020
A track from the second extended play of TXT, The Dream Chapter: Eternity, “Maze in the Mirror” is the first official release of the boy group that was co-written by Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai, together with Slow Rabbit. Beomgyu also collaborated with Slow Rabbit on the song’s production.
The core of TXT’s comradery was captured in the song, along with recollections from their competitive training years before their debut. In an interview with Billboard, Beomgyu shared that the incident that inspired the title was when, under pressure from intense training, they began to notice someone else in the mirrors who appeared to be lost in a maze. The words of this song display highly deep feelings, as evidenced by the lyrical references to attempting to locate oneself after being lost and little pleas to keep going.
I’m sure all the members agree but, personally, I had been under a lot of pressure to do well because I joined the company later than the other members did. What I felt then was, as I was practicing singing and dancing, I started to see somebody else from my own reflection in the mirror. It didn’t seem like the “me” I used to know. I felt like I was trapped in a maze. That’s how “Maze in the Mirror” came to be.
“We Lost the Summer” saw the collaboration of TXT with English singer-songwriter Charlie XCX. The song, which served as the third track in the Minisode 1: Blue Hour extended play, retells the days and everything lost as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic (with an upbeat cadence), comparing the lockdown to a winter when everything appeared to be frozen in time.
In an interview with Teen Vogue, Beomgyu shared, “Many teenagers could no longer go to school and hang out with each other, passing notes, sharing earbuds, and so on. Itโs our story but itโs still a subject that teens all over the world can relate to. Itโs the teen perspective and we wanted to address it through our music.”
Anti-Romantic
The Chaos Chapter: Freeze, 2021
Probably one of the most well-known and lauded B-sides of TXT, “Anti-Romantic” opens the boy group’s second studio album, The Chaos Chapter: Freeze. Sara Delgado of Teen Vogue described the song as a classic R&B-infused soft ballad and as the “older, wiser, and substantially more pessimistic sister “to another TXT song, “20cm”, from The Dream Chapter: Magic. “If one sings of innocent love, born between school walls, the other ditches rom-coms and love songs altogether,” she wrote.
MOA Diary (Dubaddu Wari Wari)
The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape, 2021
Coming as an additional track in the repackaged version of The Chaos Chapter: Freeze, “MOA Diary (Dubaddu Wari Wari)” is the eighth track in The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape album. Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai contributed to writing the lyrics for the song.
“MOA Diary (Dubaddu Wari Wari)” is the boy group’s official fan song. With lyrics promising to be there until the sweeter end, every MOA deserves to hear their favorite boys sing this song live at least once in their lifetime and reminisce together about their journey with TXT.
Opening Sequence
Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child
“Opening Sequence”, a gritty rap-rock hybrid that starts Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child off on a considerably darker tone than its predecessor, portrays a tug-of-war within the mind of a conflicted person following an event that has left them mentally scarred and serves as a symbol for the first stage of mourning, denial.
Prepare yourself, Philippine MOAs, to see TXT and hear a portion of their remarkable repertoire that they have built over the years, including self-written and self-produced compositions that tell stories and convey the feelings and circumstances of this generation into words and music.

The GOT7 tingi version reached its fifth installment with the leader himself, Jay B, making his much-anticipated appearance on the Philippine concert stage!
Singer-songwriter and GOT7’s leader Jay B made his return to the Philippine concert stage, kicking off his 2022 World Tour JAY B TAPE: PRESS PAUSE at the New Frontier Theater on October 1. Presented by PULP Live World, the concert also marked his first solo concert and his comeback to the country after GOT7’s 2019 concert.
Amid the excited cheers of Ahgases who happily and enthusiastically welcomed their leader back, Jay B emerged with hyped-up performances of “Switch It Up”, “Ride”, and “AM PM”. Surely got us enthralled from AM to PM, the singer-songwriter greeted his local fans with the sweetest smile, expressing his gratitude to everyone who came out to meet him that night and remarking that the Philippines is the first stop of his world tour.
With a series of performances of “Into You”, “Dive Into You”, “Count On Me”, and “Sunrise”, Jay B took the stage, ratcheting up the intensity in the room even further. He didn’t let the enthusiasm drop off and proceeded to rule the stage with “BTW” and “Fame”.
In addition to providing Ahgases with amazing performances and his distinctive vocals and moves, the singer-songwriter also seized the opportunity to interact closely with them. He went down the stage to seek restaurant ideas and to learn terms from the Filipino language like “Ang pogi ko“, “Pasensya“, and “Shot puno“.
The GOT7 singer dazzled with his renditions of “Hush”, “Fade Away”, and “Rainy” appearing untiring and full of enthusiasm throughout.
A truly surprising collaboration: James Reid joins Jay B on stage
And he got so much more in-store that night as he performed “Hello 2.0” with James Reid. The crowd went into a frenzy with the unexpected on-stage collaboration of the two artists who admitted to meeting each other in person for the first time that night. And surprises never stopped with James Reid debuting his newest single “u & i” live at the New Frontier Theater, teaming up with Ahgases who generously chanted for him.

Jay B then returned on stage, dominating it with fun performances of “Go UP” and “The Way We Are”, tracks from his newest extended play, Be Yourself. The singer-songwriter hopes that the album gives people strength and power.
“When I am getting older, I kept thinking that there are many hard things that come into life. I was thinking that maybe you feel the same way I do. I want to create songs that are for healing,” he added. He went on to perform other tracks from Be Yourself, namely “Livin’”, “Fountain of Youth”, “Break It Down”, and “Holyday”.
For GOT7’s Forever Leader, JAY B…
Prepared by Filipino Ahgases, a special video for the leader of GOT7 was played which featured his special moments with his members and fans, along with a heartwarming message that relayed their gratitude for all his sacrifices and efforts and their promise of support.
Your Filipino Ahgases have so much to tell you but our words will never be enough to really say how we feel. If we can just say one thing, it would be thank you…
for getting us through the roughest of times with your music
for keeping GOT7 together even when you’re apart
for putting into words and music things we cannot express
for being our shining star, even in the darkest times
for inspiring us to be true to ourselves
for being our home all these years
Thank you, Jay B, for being our leader, our artist, and our friend. Mahal ka namin.
For GOT7’s forever leader, Jay B, from your Filipino Ahgases
Ahgases made sure that their leader knows he is the best as they chanted — loud and proud — “BEST LEADER”. “Because of you guys, I was able to become the best leader,” he said. He shared that he was worried about how he will be able to keep the position, but for Ahgases, he will try his best.
“Thank you so much. I was very happy that Manila is the first stop of my world tour. I think I can finish the rest of my tour because of the warm cheers I got from the Philippines. I’ll burn the start of my world tour with you, guys,” he added.
Giving everyone the comfort they needed, the singer-songwriter warmed hearts with “Rocking Chair”.
For GOT7โs forever leader, JAY B
โThank you, JAY B, for being our leader, our artist, and our friend. Mahal ka namin.โ
A GOT7 member concert will never be complete without a GOT7 song on the setlist. After an encore performance of “Go UP”, Jay B performed a medley of GOT7 hits namely “Page”, “Teenager”, “Breath”, “Thursday”, and “NANANA”.
He also gifted Ahgases with a taste of his unreleased song, before closing the concert with “Sunset With You” and “Go Higher” — and a showcase of B-Boy Jay B.
A GOT7 member concert will never be complete without a GOT7 song performance!
The 2022 WORLD TOUR JAY B TAPE: PRESS PAUSE in Manila was the perfect way to kick start October with the loudest bang. It was a stunning display of Jay B’s great artistry and music, with his distinctive vocals and stage presence taking over the concert stage. The singer-songwriter’s unwavering passion and genuine enjoyment were also evident in the more than two-hour performance of more than 20 songs. And Filipino Ahgases’ fervent applause and cheers made the performance even more memorable.
The 2022 WORLD TOUR JAY B TAPE: PRESS PAUSE was presented by PULP Live World. Special thanks to PULP Live World for the invite to the show.
Are you listening to Jay B every day? As you should!
With his unique voice and passion for music, there is no surprise that Jay B is winning people over and taking over their playlists. Since debuting, he has expanded his discography and his songwriting credits, releasing extended plays and mixtapes that showcased his growth and his desire to explore genres and take on challenges as a singer-songwriter.
This list may not give justice to all the amazing songs of Jay B, but these five songs can be additions to your playlist, especially with the 2022 WORLD TOURJAY B TAPE: PRESS PAUSE in Manila happening in a few days’ time!
So count down to Jay B’s first solo concert in the Philippines with his songs that you can listen to daily.
A perfect song for the rainy and gloomy weather, “Sunset with You” highlights Jay B’s distinctive voice and gives off calm and melancholy. The leader of GOT7 wrote the lyrics and co-composed it with Saimon, Mirror Boy, and Royal Dive. It is part of his extended play, Love., that came out this year and was released under his pseudonym Def..
B.T.W
A track from his solo debut extended play, SOMO:FUME, “B.T.W.” presents a chill and groovy vibe — a perfect listen on a relaxed morning walk. The song saw Jay B collaborate with producer Cha Cha Malone for the song’s arrangement and team up with Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone for the music. He also worked with Jay Park, who served as a featuring artist in “B.T.W.”, for the lyrics.
Rocking Chair
Another song to accompany you when the rain pours or when you feel a bit despondent, “Rocking Chair” is a genuine and meaningful song that brings comfort to the listener with lyrics of Come to me as you are and sit / Lean comfortably and rest on me.
Livin’
Jay B recently returned with a new extended play, Be Yourself. Composed of six tracks, the EP captures the message of celebrating life and oneself with its upbeat and catchy tracks that make up the totality of the album. Although we love the title track “go UP”, we can’t help but put down our favorite tracks from the EP, starting with “Livin’”. “Livin’” is a wholesome, easy-to-listen song that puts out a smile on everyone.
The Way We Are
“The Way We Are” is another song from the Be Yourself EP that immediately puts you in a good mood as you groove to the music and engross yourself in Jay B’s voice.
Indeed a talented lad with dedication and passion for music, Jay B puts out songs that you will never get tired of listening to every day and that touch you with their lyrics or simply put you in the best mood on your lowest of days.

Superb is an understatement for everything that went down at the 2022 K-Pop Masterz Ep. 2 in Manila!
After the huge success of its first offering, the 2022 K-Pop Masterz concert returned to the Philippines with its second installment, bringing together a stellar lineup, an amazing stage design, passionate fandoms, and a concert experience like no other in the 2022 K-Pop Masterz Ep. 2 in Manila.
PULP Live World once again outdid themselves with an incredible concert that reminded everyone at The Big Dome that K-Pop is indeed home. With GOT7’s Youngjae, ATEEZ, and iKON teaming up with Ahgases, ATINYs, and iKONICs, the Araneta Coliseum saw fans come together — cheering loud and proud and having the best time of their lives that Friday night.
Ahgases, ATINYs, and iKONICs unite at the 2022 K-Pop Masterz Ep. 2 in Manila at The Big Dome last September 23.
GOT7’s Youngjae kicked off the 2022 K-Pop Masterz Ep. 2 in Manila, hyping the crowd with “Vibin’”, the title track of his first extended play and his self-produced and self-composed record, Colors from Ars. The intensity of the energy went higher as the singer-songwriter immediately followed it up with “Sugar”, the lead single of his newest EP of the same name.
Giving the audience a chance to recoup themselves from the excitement of the kick-off performances, the ever-charming Ryan Bang, the evening’s host, entertained the attendees with his humor. He also remarked that Filipinos are the happiest audience in the entire world — a statement proven true as soon as Youngjae returned, greeting the crowd with “Hello, guys! I’m Youngjae!” amid the cheerful screams of the fans.
The GOT7 member expressed his happiness to see Ahgases once again this year, having just held his first solo concert in the country in July. He also shared his hope to return to the country and visit places such as Cebu. Delighting fans more, the singer-songwriter also relayed his admiration for Filipinos, calling them beautiful. “I want to return since this is a beautiful place with beautiful people. I want to come back,” he said.
And the audience did not let the opportunity pass without giving Youngjae another wonderful memory in the Philippines as they sang “Happy Birthday” to him in English and Korean. “I love you, Manila!” he said, before going into performance mode again with “Tasty” and “Focus”. Indeed, the focus was on him as he takes over the stage with his stellar vocals and explosion of his various charms.
Ryan Bang joined him on stage for the TMI Talk – Have it or Don’t Have it. Through the segment, the audience got to know more about the singer-songwriter. Youngjae revealed that he keeps a diary at home, has GOT7 songs on his playlist, and owns more than ten white shirts. For his top GOT7 songs, he named “Girls Girls Girls”, “NANANA”, and “Never Ever” as his top three picks. And here’s more to look forward, Ahgases, because Youngjae revealed that he has more than 30 unreleased songs and that his second mini album has been prepared!
He also left with a sweet message and promise to fans who came out to see him, “I’m very thrilled that you were able to come up for me. Sooner or later, I will come back and perform on a bigger stage for you. I am very thankful to you for being here. I will come back on a cooler and bigger stage. It could be fast. It could be slow. If you just wait for me, I’ll be there soon.”
Youngjae closed his set with “Crema”, a track from the Sugar EP. Making the evening sweeter, the GOT7 member went around to give out signed balls.

ATEEZ PRESENT: ATEEZ debuts on the Philippine concert stage!
It may have taken a while, but the wait of Philippine ATINYs was definitely worth it as ATEEZ gave fired-up performances from the start until the very end. Making their debut on the Philippine concert stage thru the 2022 K-Pop Masterz Ep. 2 in Manila, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho said hello to their local fans with their newest single, “Guerrilla”. Roaring cheers welcomed the members which intensified as they make their official greeting — 8 makes 1 team. One by one, the members introduced themselves and shared their first impressions of the Philippines.
Leader Hongjoong expressed his desire to hold a solo concert in the country in the future. “We can’t wait for our concert here someday,” he said. Not letting the energy die down, ATEEZ once again took the stage with their debut single, “Pirate King”. They then got everyone on their feet and singing along to “Say My Name” with ATEEZ present booming loud and clear at The Big Dome.
Taking a break from the heated stages and in an effort to bring out their competitive side, Ryan Bang returned on stage and joined ATEEZ. The boys showed off their teamwork thru a relay game. The maknae and the leader teamed up for a game of speak takraw, successfully completing the mission with their impressive skills. Mingi and Yeosang continued the winning streak with a success in moving archery. Meanwhile, Yunho, San, Seonghwa, and Wooyoung made sure that the streak goes on during their turn after getting the correct answer in the relay quiz.
With their success in the relay game, ATEEZ secured signed balls for the fans which they gave away while singing “Wave”. With grateful hearts, the members relayed their gratitude to everyone who patiently waited for ATEEZ and came to see them that night. “Thank you for waiting for us. It was such an honor. We will be back here. Salamat,” Yunho said. Yeosang also thanked fans for the warm cheers and his hope to meet them again. Hongjoong echoed his members’ wish to hold a concert in the Philippines soon. Mingi called it an honor to perform in the Philippines.
The gratefulness definitely went both ways as the crowd gave resounding cheers to ATEEZ as the boys performed “The Real”, capping off their first live performance in the country. The music of ATEEZ elicited widespread euphoria among the crowd — surely breaking the walls of The Big Dome.

SINOSIJAK! iKON comes back to their Philippine iKONICs
The countdown began. The crowd was on their feet. The cheers grew louder and louder. And in Bobby’s words, “Guess who’s freaking back!” Serving as the last performers of the night, iKON set The Big Dome ablaze from the get-go with “Sinosijak” and “Rhythm Ta” — officially marking their return to the Philippine concert stage after almost four years.
“I really missed you. Really really missed you,” DK said while looking at the Konbats at the arena. And iKONICs made sure that iKON knew how much they missed them by giving them resounding, thunderous cheers and chants that literally shook Araneta Coliseum. Chan remarked, “Manila is the best!”
Catching up on iKON’s latest activities, Ryan Bang gave fans the chance to get to know the boys more in the interview segment where Jay sang a bit of Filipino singer-actor Iรฑigo Pascual’s “Dahil Sa’yo”. He, later on, encouraged iKONICs to sing with him, having the cutest duet with the fans. Song, a.k.a. Chef Song of the Songchelin Guide YouTube channel, shared his desire to cook Filipino food. Meanwhile, maknae Chan recounted trying on halo-halo and banana cue.
DK, who recently made his runway debut at the New York Fashion Week, talked about coming to New York and walking the runway. ” New York Fashion Week was a great experience and a lot of fans cheered for me, so I was able to do well and come back. New York is nice, but I’m in Manila right now, so I feel better,” he said. With Ryan Bang’s encouragement and fans’ cheers, DK let Philippine iKONICs see his runway walk. The members also joined the fun, strutting their way to the extended stage.
But the night was far from over, as iKON amplified the energy once again at The Big Dome with “BLING BLING”. Allowing fans to take a break from the superb party, the boys shared some TMI to fans, including what they always do. They also completed the sentence, “Every morning…”, sharing the activities they do in the morning. Bobby shared he goes on Weverse, while Jay confidently said that he is sexy every morning. On the other hand, Song shared he shaves every morning. Ju-ne got everyone relating to him with his answer of sleeping every morning as he tends to wake up late. The dearest maknae is all grown-up, now knowing how to say sweet words as he answered that every morning, he thinks about Philippine iKONICs. Another relatable answer came from DK who shared he goes to the toilet every morning.
The interview segment got everyone smiling, but the next performance made those smiles bigger as iKON performed every iKONIC’s national anthem, the queen “Love Scenario”. Aside from the hype and the energy, iKON’s return was also emotional for both the members and iKONICs. Bobby opened up about being initially worried that their Philippine iKONICs may have forgotten them. However, according to him, as soon as they arrived in Manila, he felt the warm air and felt reassured that he had nothing to worry about. And that night at The Big Dome was a testament that iKONICs never and will never leave.
With a comforting heart and passionate spirit, iKONICs sang loud and proud with iKON in “Freedom”. The Big Dome turned red — fired up and blazing. iKON left the stage, marking the end of the show. But amid the chants for an encore, the boys came back, like they always do, for the crowd that missed them so badly, performing the final song of the 2022 K-Pop Masterz Ep. 2 in Manila, “BUT YOU”.

Taking out a Polaroid and keeping all the memories of (G)I-DLE’s first Manila concert!
For the first time, South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE met Filipino Neverland in the Manila stop of the JUST ME ()I-DLE World Tour, giving them incredible and unforgettable show at the New Frontier Theater last September 11.
Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua blew minds in their performances and got everyone in the venue charmed by their sweetness and energy during their ments. From the opening VCR to the promises of meeting each other again, there are so many moments and memories we never want to forget from that evening.
Look back with us as we recount the moments we will definitely engrave from that incredible show.

“Oh My God”: (G)I-DLE takes the stage!
When the opening VCR played, everyone knew that we are counting the seconds before the girls take the stage. Anticipation enveloped the venue. Following the end of the VCR, smoke covered the stage as the screams went louder and louder.
Minnie’s voice resonated at the New Frontier Theater as she sings the first lines of “Oh My God“, the girl group’s 2020 song from the extended play, I Trust. The crowd was hyped as they sing along to the song — very understandable because the concert marked the girl group’s first solo concert in the Philippines.
“Hi, guys! We are (G)I-DLE!”
The energy continued to go up with (G)I-DLE’s stages of “Villain Dies” and “LATATA“. As the girls give their all in their stages, the crowd also reciprocated the energy with their unwavering cheers that Yuqi even commented, “Your scream, oh my god! Thank you so much!”
Following the end of the first set of performances, Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua greeted Filipino Neverland with “Hi, guys! We are (G)I-DLE!”, introducing themselves to their local fans for the first time in concert in the country.
“2022 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR JUST ME ()I-DLE is finally here in Manila,” Miyeon said. They then went on to individually introduce themselves and highlight their individual charms.
Continuing on to deliver nothing but the best performances, the girls performed “Blow Your Mind”, “Seรฑorita”, “DUMDi DUMDi”, and “Luv U”.

The trilogy – “Hann (Alone)”, “Hann (Alone in Winter)”, and “HWAA”
Clad in red and white, (G)I-DLE returned on stage with a beautiful stage of “Hann (Alone in Winter)”. It was impressive and a moment to deeply take in the girls’ beautiful voices resonating loud and clear at the venue, partnered with soft yet strong movements that bring out the emotions — emotions heightened as they followed with “Hann (Alone)”. Do you remember, you remember, remember what you said? (said)
They then addressed the audience once again with Yuqi encouraging Neverlands to make friends with one another. She even went beyond teaching them fun ways how to interact with each other.
Bringing the moon down to the New Frontier Theater, (G)I-DLE gave a celestial performance of “Moon” and “Already”, made more beautiful by the bright red moon backdrop. Pausing for a moment to interact with fans, the girls gifted Neverland with snippets of songs not part of the setlist, but they know fans would want to hear. Minnie wowed with “Dahlia” from the I Burn album, while Yuqi, Miyeon, and Soyeon performed their solo songs “Giant”, “Drive”, and “Beam Beam”, respectively.
Taking the stage, the girls completed the trilogy with “HWAA”, the lead single of their 2021 album, I Burn.
They are the QUEENS like a LION!
One of the most highly-anticipated performances of the evening, “LION” showcased (G)I-DLE as the queens on stage with their outstanding vocals dominating the whole venue — fired up by Soyeon’s powerful rap. Bringing out their rockstar personas, the girls went on to perform “LIAR”.
After a short VCR, they came back on stage, hyping up the crowd and getting them to jump with “Never Stop Me”. The energy was undeniably high with Neverland singing along to “Uh-Oh”. And with a bit of practice and preparation led by (G)I-DLE themselves, Filipino Neverlands took over with “MY BAG“.
Proving over and over again that Manila got the best crowd, fans definitely made the girls proud as they loudly sing along — with Soyeon being more than happy and proud to give her part to the amazing Manila crowd!
The energy truly never stop as it continued to go up with “POP/STARS”.
“We will be back again!”: (G)I-DLE promises to see Philippine Neverland again.
But like everything else, all good things must come to an end. The girls took time to relay their message of thanks and promise of seeing their Filipino Neverland again during the ment.
Minnie promised that they will surely be back again, ending her ment with “Thank you and I love you all!”. Yuqi called the concert a “dream come true” and said she felt Manila’s passion. She also expressed her desire to come back to the Philippines for the next world tour. “I’m sure if we have a chance, we will be back. I’m sure. Manila Neverland, you have my words,” she remarked. Yuqi also playfully added, “You know me, CEO of Cube Entertainment,” earning laughs and loud cheers from the crowd who chanted her name.
With pride, Miyeon took charge of introducing the final song prior to the encore — the song that topped music charts in South Korea, “TOMBOY“. With so much excitement, fans were more than willing to join the girls in singing “Yeah, I’m fu- tomboy“!
Take out the Polaroid: Encore stages of “i’M THE TREND” and “Polaroid”
(G)I-DLE closed the JUST ME ()I-DLEWorld Tour in Manila with a fun stage of “i’M THE TREND” and a sweet rendition of “Polaroid”. The girls then went around the stage to wave to fans and say their goodbyes, greeting and bowing to Filipino Neverland in the same words they said hello — “We are (G)I-DLE!”
Definitely keeping all the memories of that evening, JUST ME ()I-DLEWorld Tour in Manila was a one-for-the-books show that brought together amazing artists and an equally amazing crowd with an energy never dying down.

Listening to (G)I-DLE will definitely make every day a better day!
Since debuting in 2018, South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE created waves in the K-Pop scene with their impressive musicality and artistry as they confidently explore different genres, reflect various themes, and tell stories in their every release.
In an interview with Rolling Stone India, leader Soyeon talked about challenging societal norms. “The key is having a solid opinion and not giving in or being wavered by external [societal] factors. We think itโs important to constantly do it over and over again rather than doing it just once and giving up. If you keep proving your worth to people, they will eventually grasp and respect it,โ she said.
Indeed, the discography of (G)I-DLE reflects their drive to empower and inspire others to take courage. Although this list could never give justice to the amazing songs of the girl group that make up their whole discography, it’s time for you to listen to these songs and add them to your everyday playlist. Or listen to them every day as we count down to (G)I-DLE’s upcoming Manila concert, happening on September 11!
(G)I-DLE debuted strong as the girls dropped “LATATA” as the title track of their debut extended play, I Am. Leader Soyeon wrote the song and teamed up with music producer Big Sancho in the song’s production.
Paper Magazine ranked it number 14 in its year-end list of Top 20 K-Pop Songs of 2018. It also gave the girl group three music show wins. In addition, “LATATA” peaked at the fourth spot on Billboard’s World Digital Songs Chart and the 12th spot on Gaon Digital Chart.
HANN (Alone)
2018
Digital Single
Following “LATATA”, (G)I-DLE returned with the digital single “HANN (Alone). Soyeon, who wrote the lyrics, once again collaborated with Big Sancho in the production of the song.
The song won three music shows and made it to the year-end lists of Bugs, Dazed, Idolator, The Young Folks, and KultScene. Dazed, which put the song at number three on its list, described it as, “Theatrical strings peek through the mix, the chorus is punctured by a gleaming, high-pitched effect for an alien-like quality, and even when itโs at its warmest and most approachable, the girls, particularly Soyeon, infuse it with a take-no-prisoners haughtiness that makes โHANNโ incredibly compelling.”
“HANN (Alone)” peaked at number two on Billboard’s World Digital Songs Chart and number eight on Gaon Digital Chart.
LION
2019
Queendom Final Comeback & I Trust
“LION” was originally released as part of the extended play, Queendom Final Comeback, which comprised songs recorded by Queendom contestants, including (G)I-DLE. Soyeon wrote the lyrics to the songs and worked again with Big Sancho in composing, producing, and arranging the song.
The girl group then released the song as part of their third extended play, I Trust. Billboard named the song one of the best K-Pop songs in 2019, putting it at number nine. L. Singh of Billboard stated, “Every part of this anthem is brimming with untamed, frenetic, self-assured power thatโs channeled into its booming rhythms, more appropriate for a battlefield than a stage.”
With “LION”, (G)I-DLE took home the Best Female Performance Award at the 2020 Golden Disc Awards.
Oh My God
2022
I Trust
Another song from the EP, I Trust, “Oh My God” served as the title track of the EP. The girl group also released an English version of the song, which, according to Miyeon, is a gift for their international fans, following the postponement of their I-Land: Who Am I World Tour in 2020 due to the CoViD-19 pandemic.
Soyeon once again took charge of the songwriting, working together on the production with Big Sancho. Dazed wrote about “Oh My God” in its year-end list, where it placed at number 18, “‘Oh My God’ plays against form with an identikit intro/outro and elimination of a bridge, but the crooning, self-flagellating verses and Soyeonโs wickedly remorseless rap crawl deep under the skin.”
