  • pH-1 announces Manila leg of โ€˜About Damn Timeโ€™ Asia tour

pH-1 announces Manila leg of โ€˜About Damn Timeโ€™ Asia tour

K-Hip Hop artist pH-1 is making his Philippine debut on May 3, 2023 at The Filinvest Tent, Alabang.

Karpos Live is bringing pH-1โ€™s About Damn Time Asia tour to Manila following the previously
announced dates in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Bangkok, and Hong Kong.

Park Jun-won, more famously known as pH-1, is a South Korean rapper who has made waves
in the Korean hip-hop scene since 2016 with his debut single, โ€œWavyโ€.

His interest in hip-hop and rap was heavily influenced by his childhood growing up in New York,
where he said that all the kids listened to Eminem, 50 Cent and Jay-Z. It was only natural that
this ignited his passion to pursue a career in music that eventually, after consistent uploads to
SoundCloud, caught the attention of Korean global superstar, Jay Parkโ€“founder of H1GHR
MUSIC, an international hip-hop and R&B label.

Since signing to the label, he has released two albums, Halo in 2019 and BUT FOR NOW
LEAVE ME ALONE in 2022. His discography features notable collaborations with Jay Park,
Mokyo, Owen, and more recently, American R&B singer-songwriter, UMI.

If his collaborations are a testament to his songwriting prowess, his live shows speak volumes to
    him being a natural-born performer.

You get to experience the whole spectrum at a pH-1 showโ€”from slow and laid-back beats to
picking up the tempo for his more upbeat and high intensity songs.

His energy doesnโ€™t falter and neither will yours with his ability to command the stage and
engage with the audience. Whether youโ€™re a new listener or a long-time fan, itโ€™s easy to go all in
and have a damn good K-Hip Hop show when itโ€™s pH-1โ€™s. If there’s one you should go to, itโ€™s this
    one.

Karpos Live Presents: pH-1 on May 3 at The Filinvest Tent, Alabang.
    Tickets go on-sale March 17, 1PM via tickelo.com.

    Ticket prices below:

  • A Special Meeting with Park Jinyoung: What to Expect

A Special Meeting with Park Jinyoung: What to Expect

You waited for him, and now, Park Jinyoung is coming to meet you.

It’s been a while since GOT7’s Park Jinyoung graced the Philippine concert stage. Although his return to Manila would be different from past meets with Philippine IGOT7s because he will be performing on his own this time, the singer-actor will undoubtedly offer nothing but the best moments and memories with his fans in the 2023 PARK JINYOUNG FANCONCERT in MANILA: RENDEZVOUSโ€”his first solo event in the Philippinesโ€”on February 26 at the New Frontier Theater.

READ: GOT7โ€™s Park Jinyoung to Meet Filipino Fans in February 2023

Fans can purchase tickets for the show at TicketNet locations and online at www.ticketnet.com.ph. Therefore, before the big day arrives, let us offer you a preview of what might happen in that secret meeting between you and him.

    Park Jinyoung

A Celebration of a Decade (and more) with Park Jinyoung

Before joining GOT7, Park Jinyoung captured our hearts as Jung Ui-bong in Dream High 2, which aired on KBS in 2012. In the same year, he formed JJ Project with then-fellow trainee Jay B (previously JB). In 2014, together with Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom, he made his debut in GOT7. The rest, as they say, is history.

With a long career as both an actor and singer, it is only fitting that there be a celebration for the star who has grown before our eyes over the years. The 2023 PARK JINYOUNG FANCONCERT: RENDEZVOUS tour honors the singer-actor’s decade-long (and longer) career by reflecting on his career trajectory from his early work as Jung Ui-bong to his outstanding performance as Yoo Ba-bi in Yumi’s Cells.

Bear witness to his solo performances โ€”and probably a GOT7 medley?

It goes without saying that we cannot honor Jinyoung’s ten-year career without also reflecting on his musical endeavors. And what is the best way for doing this? Watch him perform his solo songs that reflect his evolution as a performer, and we might see him perform a GOT7 medley, as he did at the Bangkok stop of the fanconcert tour.

The GOT7 member during RENDEZVOUS in Seoul (Photo from BH Entertainment)

    To Jinyoung, from Ahgases.

    From Jinyoung to Ahgases.

Being a sweet reunion with the GOT7 member, there is unquestionably plenty to look forward to in this special event. We know that, in true Filipino audience flair, there will be no shortage of loud cheers and excitement. Furthermore, as fans offer their favorite guy a warm greeting, the singer-actor will do his best to share memorable moments with his adoring admirers. He aims to showcase the true sides of himself that his admirers have yet to know when he embarks on a solo fan meeting tour. Also, he has prepared special shows only for his fans.

As he said in his video greeting, “I prayed and I promised that I could meet you.” Three days from now, that promise will be kept. See you, Ahgases? See you, Ahgases.

Why EPIK HIGHโ€™s Manila Show is One that You Wouldn’t Want to Miss

EPIK HIGH Returns to Manila this November for their EPIK HIGH IS HERE 2022 TOUR!

Among a lot of things that took off in the middle of the pandemic, one of the biggest interest groups that took the world by storm is the Hallyu Wave – with its amazing visuals and performances polished to perfection. It’s no secret that while the K-Pop and K-Hiphop scene was already here pre-2020, the fandom is now even stronger. While not new to the scene, EPIK HIGH has been leading the charge of the Hallyu Wave as a household name since 2003, inspiring the public with their catchy tunes and lyrics that speak volumes about the inner workings of their minds. Here are a few reasons why they remain so loved by the public after almost 20 years of music.

Theyโ€™re a refreshing spin to your daily playlist. When we hear about Korean artists, weโ€™re immediately reminded of members in matching outfits, dancing to upbeat dance tracks. But with EPIK HIGH, they make music thatโ€™s easy to listen to while also speaking to your soul. Their discography is so dynamic that thereโ€™s something for everyone. From upbeat tracks that energize you, to lullabies that help you relax and unwind at the end of the day. Yes, theyโ€™ve made lullabies, too; specifically dedicated to cats.

As fans, itโ€™s always interesting to see our faves interact and collaborate with fellow musicians. With EPIK HIGH, not only do they collaborate, they bring out the best in whoever they collaborate with. They not only focus on their own parts but concentrate on the artist that theyโ€™re paired with, fully allowing them to shine. It doesnโ€™t matter how many artists are thrown on a track, the EPIK HIGH magic still works wonders.

Check Out: EPIK HIGH – Born Hater ft. Verbal Jint, Beenzino, Mino, Bobby, and B.I:

With the number of artists in the scene today, EPIK HIGH has managed to stand out from the crowd for so long. When you ask the general public what makes EPIK HIGH so special, the one thing everyone agrees on is that their live performances are on another level. Following the groupโ€™s signature catchphrase โ€œMy High is Epikโ€ when they take the stage, itโ€™s always an amazing time- the group radiates so much energy that anyone watching gets swept into it.

Get a chance to experience epic highs and catch Tablo, Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz taking the Manila stage at the EPIK HIGH is Here Tour live at the New Frontier Theater on November 30, 2022. About EPIK HIGH

A trailblazing trio formed by Tablo, Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz, EPIK HIGH debuted in 2003. Their singular blend of hip-hop and sharp lyrics, which openly discuss themes like mental health and social issues, turned them into one of the most pivotal groups in Korean music. Throughout their twenty years together, they released hundreds of anthemic songs, inspired artists like BTS, and were the first Korean act to ever play at Coachella in 2016.
