Their live art will be auctioned off and donated to advocacy groups.

LLL 2023 is also expanding its event to include its advocacies. The company is known to be active in supporting advocacies and they incorporated that into this event. A number of advocacy groups like AHA Learning Center and Community Learning Hub will have their booths in the venue. #5 Linya-Linya Land 2023 will be a fun, holistic celebration.
As their tagline goes: “gets ka namin”. When we went to their cozy office in Libis, Quezon City, co-founders Ali Sangalang and Jim Bacarro were kind enough to give us a rundown of what to expect in LLL 2023 as well as a brief history of their company.
At its core, Linya-Linya is more than a shirt brand. As a content company, they pride themselves on the words, ideas, and thoughts that connect them with people, and that is what people wear and take with them.

The Rest Is Noise PH, a music curator and events production outfit based in Manila, will be celebrating its 8th anniversary with a show that highlights the rich and diverse backgrounds, cultures, and styles of music artists from the Philippines.
The event serves as the bi-monthly production’s 37th edition and will take place on Friday, August 12, 2023, at Balcony Music House, Makati City.

The King of Hearts: Get to Know Nam Woo Hyun!
Nam Woo Hyun made his debut as the main vocalist of the K-Pop boy group INFINITE in 2010. Known for their highly synchronized dancing and choreography and live vocals, the boy group became one of the most influential and well-known Korean acts of their generation.
In addition to his activities with INFINITE, Nam Woo Hyun embarked on solo activities, beginning his musical theater career in 2012 and making his acting debut in the same year with The Thousandth Man. He then took on his first lead role in Hi! School: Love On in 2014.
In 2016, Nam Woo Hyun officially debuted as a solo artist with the release of his extended play, Write… He actively participated in the creation of the EP, writing and composing half of the tracks in the album. The EP went on to place number one on Hanteo’s Weekly Albums Chart upon its release. As a solo artist, he came out with four EPs, including With which served as his first album after completing his mandatory military service.
Additionally, he teamed up with SHINee’s Key to form the duo ToHeart in 2014. The duo released their first mini album with the lead single, “Delicious”. They also performed “Tell Me Why” as a follow-up promotion upon the request of their fans.

Debuted in 2007 as a ballad singer with his first album ‘Young Tak Disid,’ Young Tak started his career by releasing the trot album ‘Nuna You’re Perfect’ in 2016. In 2020, he became well-known by placing second in the TV Chosun and South Korean reality TV audition show for a singer who performed trot music out of 17,000 participants. The trot is a popular genre of Korean music characterized by its repetitive rhythms and vocal inflections.
In the same year, Young Tak received accolades as the Newcomer CF Star Award at the 2020 MTN Broadcast Advertising Festival; Rising Star Award at the 2020 Trot Awards; nominated as Best Trot Song for “Jjiniya,” won the Hot Trend Award and Best Songwriter Award at the 2020 Melon Music Awards.
His 2020 hit single, “Jjiniya,” has reached 4.5 million views on YouTube and serves as a sneak peek at the excitement his 2023 shows will bring. Young Tak’s latest album MMM released in 2022, was his first full record in over 17 years.

The first GL event in the country is finally happening! Are you ready to meet FreenBecky, Manila?

The Philippine K-Pop Convention Inc., together with its affiliate K-Pop fan clubs aims to bring together K-Pop fans for a day-long festival filled with fun activities while promoting Korean-Filipino relations. Proceeds from the event will go to chosen charities.
The event will also feature local acts 6ENSE and KAIA.

After bringing Indonesian folk-pop superstar Pamungkas to Manila and staging a sold-out concert at Solaire featuring some of the most iconic women in Pinoy rock, GNN Entertainment ends the year on a festive note with their annual year-end festival, GNN Year End Party, happening at 123 Block in Mandala Park, Mandaluyong City, on December 17, 2022 (Saturday), from 3 p.m. onwards.
A mix of established and emerging acts are set to perform at this year’s edition. These include Singapore-based post-punk outfit M1LDL1FE, who are making a highly anticipated return to the country following their well-received set at 2019’s ALL OF THE NOISE, and Filipino-Singaporean pop vixen YSA YANEZA, whose eponymous debut EP recently won accolades from music critics.
Filipino indie and alternative pop/rock bands like Cheats, Ang Bandang Shirley, Oh, Flamingo!, Munimuni, Lola Amour, One Click Straight, and Any Name’s Okay are playing this year’s open-air festival, along with post-rock band GABBA, alt-R&B/hip-hop/electronic boyband KINDRED, and veteran indie outfit Narda.
Firmly rooted in the culture of fostering community and inclusivity through live music, the GNN Year-End Party aims to restore the public’s faith in going to shows and festivals. With support from co-presenter Jack Daniel’s, GNN promises to help open up new possibilities in honing the landscape of the live music scene by producing top-notch and memorable shows that champion both local and international acts.
GNN also teams up with homegrown merchants to diversify its offering, including Everything’s Fine PH, an indie publishing company that has released some of the most exciting titles in recent memory; Backspacer Records, home to carefully curated vinyl records; and Makes No Sense, a start up clothing line.
