  • Youngjae to Sweeten July for PH Fans with “Sugar” Fansign Event

Youngjae to Sweeten July for PH Fans with “Sugar” Fansign Event

Philippine Ahgases are in for a sweet time this July with Youngjae!

Singer and songwriter YOUNGJAE is coming to Manila for a fansign event—YOUNGJAE “Sugar” Fansign in Manila—on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the New Frontier Theater.

The once-in-a-lifetime event allows fans to closely interact with the idol through a variety of fan benefits. By only purchasing two copies of “Sugar” at https://www.cdmentertainment.ph, fans already have access to the event and a special perk called “Goodbye Session.”

In this benefit, all attendees get the privilege to go up the stage and wave goodbye to YOUNGJAE. It was introduced in place of Hi-Touch, to avoid unnecessary contact while still giving the fans a chance to see the idol up close.

For Top Spenders (the fans who buy the most albums), the highlight is undoubtedly getting a selfie with YOUNGJAE using the fan’s phone. As a cherry on top, the idol would be the one to take the photo.

A total of 50 fansign slots are also up for grabs. In this process, each chosen fan gets to have one minute to talk with YOUNGJAE face-to-face. During that time, the fan can ask him questions and personally give him gifts while he signs the album.

Plenty of other perks like Group Photo Op, signed albums, and signed polaroids are also waiting for lucky attendees who will win the raffle. Additionally, YOUNGJAE prepared other fun and exciting surprises that will delight the fans.

This event marks YOUNGJAE’s first time back in the Philippines since the pandemic began. The last time the GOT7 member visited the country was in 2019 when his group held a concert at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Since then, YOUNGJAE has been busy building a solid profile as a multi-talented performer. The South Korean star recently wrapped promotions for his web drama “Love & Wish” early this year. His musical career is also thriving with “Sugar” serving as his comeback one year after his solo debut.

Double the Fun: It’s YOUNGJAE DAY on July 23!

Fans of YOUNGJAE are in for a sweet July as the GOT7 main vocalist meets them through back-to-back events at the New Frontier Theater. Dubbed “YOUNGJAE Day,” July 23, 2022 marks the idol’s comeback in Manila with a concert and a fansign happening on the same day.

In a video invitation, the idol said he was touched by fans’ support that’s why he decided to hold two events.

YOUNGJAE will start the day with a mini-concert at 3:00 PM. 2022 YOUNGJAE MINI CONCERT: ‘SUGAR’ IN MANILA also marks his first solo concert in the country. Select fans can look forward to special perks including rehearsal access and a Group Photo.

Tickets are available at https://www.cdmentertainment.ph, https://ticketnet.com.ph, and TicketNet outlets. Prices range from PHP8,500 to PHP3,000.

Later in the day, at 7:00 PM, YOUNGJAE will meet fans through YOUNGJAE ‘Sugar’ Fansign in Manila, yet another first for the idol. The event offers a new and completely different experience for Philippine KPOP fans. It’ll be the first time they see what happens in a fansign event that is usually exclusive to Korea.

A fansign event allows fans to closely and personally interact with their idols. Select fans will get to have one minute each to talk to YOUNGJAE while he signs on their albums. During that one minute, fans can ask YOUNGJAE questions and even make special requests like aegyo–a Korean pop culture tradition that loosely means “to act cute.”

Fans that are not selected for fansign have a lot more other options like selfies, solo photos, group photos, and a goodbye session with YOUNGJAE. The cherry on top is that fans do not need to purchase a ticket. In exchange for buying a set of albums at https://www.cdmentertainment.ph, fans already have access to the event. After a successful first round, Round 2 of album selling opened for fans who didn’t make it the first time. Round 2 ends on July 20, 11:59 PM.

It’s truly a rare opportunity to see an idol do two events in a foreign country. July 23 is a testament to YOUNGJAE’s devotion to his fans. Tickets for the concert are still available while Round 2 album selling is currently ongoing.

    Visit https://www.cdmentertainment.ph for more information.

  • Yerin to Hold “Aria” Fansign Event in Manila

Yerin to Hold “Aria” Fansign Event in Manila

Hope blooms anew for K-Pop fans this July as Yerin makes her way to Manila for a special fansign event!

Singer and actress Jung Yerin is coming to Manila for the country’s first-ever fansign-only event! Yerin “Aria” Fansign in Manila is scheduled to take place on July 22, 2022, Friday, at the Gateway Mall Cineplex 5.

The 25-year-old idol recently debuted as a solo artist with “Aria” as the lead single from her mini album with the same name. In the song’s music video, Yerin is seen frolicking through flower backdrops, perhaps symbolizing her desire to grow her career as a solo act.

Before forging her own path, Yerin was the lead dancer and vocalist of GFriend. The six-member group was behind the famous songs “Rough” and “Me Gustas Tu” released in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Though the group has disbanded, the members are all active in various fields with Yerin soon to make history for her fansign in Manila.

Though fansigns have been done in the Philippines before, it was usually added as a perk to bigger events such as concerts and fanmeetings. This time around, Yerin is meeting her Filipino fans exclusively for an album fansigning event.

    Photo from Sublime

Moreover, attendees get the chance to win a variety of amazing fan benefits like Selfie, Solo Photo Op, and Group Photo Op to name a few. In lieu of Hi-Touch, there will also be a “Goodbye Session” where all attendees go up the stage and wave goodbye to Yerin. This unique perk gives the fans a golden opportunity to see the South Korean beauty up close.

Entry to the event only requires purchasing one set of “Aria” (Day and Night album versions) via https://www.cdmentertainment.ph/. The album selling period has begun and will continue until July 1, 2022, at midnight.

Round 2 of album selling opens for Yerin’s Fansign

After many requests from fans, the album selling for Yerin ‘Aria’ Fansign in Manila is re-opened until July 20, 2022, at 11:59 PM. Fans who didn’t make it in the first round get another chance to participate and meet the South Korean star face to face.

Much like the first round, participants are in for plenty of perks including a Goodbye Session for all. Ten signed polaroids, 115 group photo slots, and 40 signed albums will also be raffled.

CDM Entertainment also announced a new venue for the fansign which is now taking place at Gateway Cineplex 5. It is still scheduled for July 22, 2022, at 2:00 PM.

In her video greeting, Yerin expressed enthusiasm about meeting Filipino fans as a solo artist. The 25-year-old idol also showcased her impressive Tagalog skills, prompting a lot of oohs and ahhs from adoring fans.

Yerin is a former member of GFRIEND, the KPOP girl group behind the hit song “Me Gustas Tu.” The group disbanded in 2021, with the members pursuing solo careers, including Yerin who released her debut album last May.

Round 2 of the album selling for Yerin ‘Aria’ Fansign in Manila is available at https://www.cdmentertainment.ph.

  • Running Man “A Decade Of Laughter 2023” In Manila To Be Held In April

Running Man “A Decade Of Laughter 2023” In Manila To Be Held In April

The members of South Korea’s well-loved variety show, Running Man, head to Manila this April!

As if we didn’t just wrap up an explosive year of euphoric K-Pop events, 2023 is shaping up to be an even greater year for all Filipino Hallyu fans. Get ready as one of the highly-requested shows of the decade is finally about to happen in the Philippines for the first time ever!

Prepare to be filled with thrill and excitement as PULP Live World brings in another world-class act to celebrate a decade and more of producing the best K-events the country has seen. The cast of the longest-running variety show on SBS Channel, Running Man, is heading to the Philippines for a grand fanmeeting – RUNNING MAN: A DECADE OF LAUGHTER 2023 IN MANILA will take place on April 1, 2023, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

More than ten years since its pilot episode on July 2010 on SBS, the Sunday variety show Running Man has successfully conquered South Korean television with its outstanding comedic acts and games that would bring viewers to different spots across Korea and other countries. It started out as an “urban action variety,” a TV genre with physical and mental games that take place in an urban environment. Immediately after, it became famous for its various games which are replicated by fans of the show worldwide. But aside from that, it was really their Name-Tag Ripping Challenge that has become their signature game, having been highly anticipated in each episode and getting viewers on the edge of their seats out of excitement.

READ: A Decade Of Laughter: 10 Things We Love About “Running Man”

The show is headlined by the cast members: Korea’s renowned MC Yu Jae Suk, comedian Jee Suk Jin, singer and actor Kim Jong Kook, actress Song Ji Hyo, singer and MC Haha, MC Yang Se Chan, and actress Jeon So Min. Their individuality and different quirks add flavor to the show which most viewers love. With their funny banter and almost-slapstick comedy style, the viewers can easily relate to their humor.

More than a decade since Running Man first aired on TV, and now with more than 600 episodes, the show has proven itself timeless through the years. The show’s games previously highlighted Korean Culture and Tourism. However, it has also incorporated global culture and inspiration into its format. With episodes that were inspired by Hollywood films and ones that feature the cast touring across Asia (for fan meetings and also filming challenges inspired by the country they are in), Running Man can now be considered a global TV phenomenon that encapsulates worldwide cultures and showcasing them in one grand variety show.

More than that, the show has victoriously garnered recognitions from numerous award-giving bodies as 2019 StarHub Favorite Variety Show and Best Entertainment Program at the 51st Baeksang Arts Awards, and Best Teamwork Award at the 12th SBS Entertainment Awards to name a few—all made possible by the efforts of each staff behind it and as well as the members of the cast.

Now, to celebrate a decade of bringing happiness and laughter to fans through their TV sets, Running Man will be coming to Manila to finally meet their Filipino Fans. This is undoubtedly a show that every Hallyu fan should look forward to. Don’t miss this chance to meet the Running Man cast and run to the Mall of Asia Arena on April 1, 2023, at 6 p.m. for the RUNNING MAN ‘A DECADE OF LAUGHTER’ TOUR IN MANILA. ONE OK ROCK Is Coming To Manila For An Explosive Show In May

Get ready as PULP Live World makes this new year even more exciting with its first announcement for 2020. ONE OK ROCK EYE OF THE STORM ASIA TOUR 2020 Live in Manila, happening on May 2, 2020 at the Araneta Coliseum, is the newest addition to PULP’s explosive lineup of upcoming 2020 shows!

The Japanese rock phenoms are taking their most breathtaking world tour yet to the Philippines, and Manila will be in the path of this beautiful storm as AEG Presents and PULP Live World present this monumental show.

This upcoming concert marks ONE OK ROCK’s highly-awaited return to the Philippines, following memorable shows in 2016 and 2018 where they first built the solid connection that they have with their Filipino fans. Taka, Toru, Ryota, and Tomoya are excited to take us into their newest era as a band, having gone through many changes throughout a continuing story of evolution and progress.

The past year has indeed been a huge one for the quartet who have gone on to make an impact on a global scale with their latest album, Eye of the Storm. Released in February 2019, the latest ONE OK ROCK album features a side of the band that remains ambitious and hungry, eager to build on a fearless and unapologetic exploration of sounds and styles.

“Rather than it feeling like [other] albums we made, it feels like an extension of what we have been doing. And the fans, they have responded back—existing and new fans alike,” reflects ONE OK ROCK in an exclusive interview with PULP Magazine. “After all these years we are continuously evolving, taking a new shape. That’s Rock n Roll and that’s ONE OK ROCK!”

What we have are vivid memories of ONE OK ROCK proving themselves to be one of the best and most impressive live bands to play in the Philippines. The near-perfect execution of their over-the-top live performance is definitely something to look forward to, and is proof that they are still a pretty solid rock band, with their shows having a reputation for being some of the most energetic gigs for music fans to experience.

ONE OK ROCK have come a very long way. One might lose count of how many albums the Japanese quartet has put out throughout a career that has run for about 15 years now. But it’s undeniable that in these recent years, with their explosion in the US, in Europe, throughout Asia, and all over the international rock scene, the band has been relentless. They keep setting their sights on new goals as a band and they stop at nothing to reach them.
