Justin Bieber announces final global dates, coming to Manila October 29

Justin Bieber today announced the final international dates for his record-setting Justice World Tour, including Manila on October 29, 2022 at CCP Open Grounds Manila, Philippines. Having sold in excess of 1.3 million tickets so far, the tour will travel to over 30 countries — playing more than 125 shows – from May 2022 through March 2023.

Promoted by AEG Presents Asia and Ovation Productions, tickets to Justin Bieber Justice World Tour Manila are priced from PHP2,692.8 and will go on sale at 10AM local time on May 30, 2022 via Ovationtickets.com and SMTickets.com.

The upcoming dates start this month in Mexico, with a stop in Italy before continuing on to Scandinavia for shows in August. Next up is South America, South Africa and the Middle East in September and October. The tour will close out the year in Asia, Australia and New Zealand before moving to the UK and Europe in early 2023. Additional dates have also been announced in Dubai, Bahrain, Sydney, New Delhi, Manila, Amsterdam, London and Dublin.

These new shows come on the heels of his 52-date 2022 North American tour, which kicked off in San Diego on February 18. Each evening promises to be a celebration for both Justin and his fans after the pandemic sidelined his 2020 tour.

Recently, Justin teamed up with director Cole Bennett for his new single +video “Honest,” featuring Don Toliver. Punchy and uptempo, “Honest” marks Justin’s first official single since “Ghost” – the anthemic finale to the multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated Justice – went #1 at pop radio in January, making chart history with the most #1 hits by a male solo artist in US radio history and the only fifth artist ever to reach twenty Top 5 hits on Hot 100.

Over the past year, Justin has set new marks in his highly-decorated career: “Stay” with The Kid LAROI, Justin’s eighth career Hot 100 #1 single, made him the youngest solo artist ever to reach 100 hits on the chart. “Peaches,” his certified-triple-platinum smash, made Justin the first male solo artist to debut at #1 on both the Billboard 200 album chart and Billboard Hot 100 singles chart simultaneously.

Justin Bieber’s eighth #1 album Justice has sold over eight million copies globally, amassed over 12 billion global streams, and was nominated for eight Grammys, including Album Of The Year. With an astounding 100 billion career streams and over 75 million albums sold globally, Justin reigns as one of the biggest artists in the world. Bieber is the #1 artist on YouTube with over 68 million subscribers worldwide and is the #1 artist on Spotify global with 79 million monthly listeners.

Justin – who was named Artist Of The Year at the 2021 MTV VMAs and was nominated for thirteen Billboard Music Awards – has been wowing fans nightly on the opening leg of his Justice World Tour 2022, the biggest and most ambitious tour of his career. Throughout, Justin has remained committed to using his platform for social good, bringing his ‘Justice In Action’ initiative to fans across the country, raising awareness on important issues like criminal justice reform, climate action, voter registration and much more.

The Justice World Tour, promoted by AEG Presents, is Justin’s first global outing since 2016/2017’s ‘Purpose World Tour’. Described by The Times of London as “mesmerising”, Bieber played to 2.7 million fans over the course of his 2016-2017 run, with the finale seen by 65,000 fans at London’s British Summer Time Hyde Park festival.

Begin Again: KPOP Edition — the country’s first live KPOP concert in two years—is less than a week away. Scheduled to take place this Sunday, May 29, at the SMART Araneta Coliseum, fans and performers can hardly keep their excitement.

Local promoter CDM Entertainment has posted a series of videos with NCT DREAM, WEi, and ALICE greeting their fans in Korean, English, and of course, Tagalog—much to the delight of Filipinos who have longed to hear their idols speak the country’s native tongue.

In the group’s video, NCT DREAM acknowledges the beautiful meaning behind the concert and adds that it makes the members even more excited to reunite with Philippine NCTzens. Lead dancer Jaemin touches hearts with his kind words as he expresses concern for fans. In his greeting, Jaemin can be heard saying, “Sana okay lang kayo,” alluding to the difficulties of living in a pandemic.

Similarly, WEi and ALICE have expressed their desire to meet Filipino fans. This will be WEi’s first time meeting Philippine RUi, making the boys eagerly anticipate the event. Meanwhile, ALICE relayed their excitement to reunite with Philippine BLRIS with two new members.

SHINee’s KEY, who is also part of the line-up, hasn’t released a video greeting yet but has nonetheless been vocal about his desire to meet Philippine Shawol.

With only four days until show day, CDM Entertainment has released venue guidelines with reminders on what to do on show day. The promoter has also granted the fans’ requests for reserved seating for Upper Box (originally free seating) and an extended stage, making the event even more special.

As we prep for the biggest K-Pop comeback of the year in the Philippines, here is everything you need to know about the most anticipated concert this month!

The Four Korean Acts Set to Make History with their Pinoy Fans

A Fresh Start: These Four Korean Acts are Making History with their Pinoy Fans (CDM Entertainment)

Fans are in for a treat this summer as four South Korean acts are coming to Manila for a concert. NCT DREAM, SHINee’s KEY, WEi, and ALICE are set to perform their biggest hits live at Begin Again: KPOP Edition, happening on May 29, 2022, at 5 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Aptly named “Begin Again,” this historic event marks the first international concert in the country after two years. The artists have come together to meet their beloved fans face to face, after years of purely online interactions. There’s bound to be a lot of excitement and most notably, happy tears, as idol and fan meet again. Most importantly, it’s an avenue for artists to cheer on their fans during these difficult times.

To add to the thrill, “Begin Again” checks off a couple of hallmark moments for the artists. For instance, NCT DREAM is coming back to “open the doors” of international live shows after being the last one to hold it in 2020. Meanwhile, it is KEY’s first time back in the Philippines. This time, he is performing as a solo artist. His last visit was in 2017 with his group at a benefit concert.

Alternatively, ALICE gets to meet their Pinoy fans again with more members than the last time they were here. Formerly known as ELRIS, the group has added two new members and has since rebranded to its new name. Finally, WEi sets its sights on Filipino RUi for the first time. Having debuted during a pandemic, the six-member boy group didn’t have many opportunities to meet its international fans.

All four groups are fresh off the release of their latest work. NCT DREAM successfully wrapped their “Glitch Mode” era with two million albums sold. This comeback also marked their first entry on the Billboard 200 Chart at number 50, proving their popularity on the international scene.

Meanwhile, SHINee’s KEY debuted as a solo artist in 2018 and has since released multiple albums with “Bad Love” being the latest. The mini-album came out in September of last year and had six tracks, including the titular single. It earned KEY his first music show win along with a number of critical acclaim including the third spot at NME’s “The 25 best K-pop songs of 2021.”

Despite being only two years old, boy group WEi is also a force to be reckoned with. Members DAE HYEON, DONG HAN, YONG HA, YO HAN, SEOK HWA, and JUN SEO recently released their mini-album “Love Pt.1: First Love,” last March and are drawing the attention of fans across the world. The album earned them the fifth spot on Korea’s Gaon Chart.

Finally, girl group ALICE released their latest single “Power of Love” last May 4, 2022. Members EJ, Do-A, Chaejeong, Yeonjae, Yukyung, Sohee, and Karin lent their beautiful voices to this emotional ballad. It sings of longing for a distant loved one but never losing faith in their connection—the perfect song for these tumultuous times.
