KAIA’s Award-Winning “TANGA” Reaches 1 Million YouTube Views!

P-Pop girl group KAIA celebrates another significant milestone as the official music video for “TANGA” has officially surpassed 1 million views on YouTube, marking a new achievement for one of the group’s most celebrated releases.

Recognized with the 2026 Listener’s Choice Award at the Billboard Philippines Women in Music and nominated for Pop Song of the Year at the 2025 Filipino Music Awards, “TANGA” continues to resonate with audiences through its honest storytelling, memorable performances, and distinctive visual execution.

One of the music video’s defining features is its ambitious one-take concept, captured in a single continuous shot. Bringing the vision to life required extensive preparation, with KAIA and the entire production team rehearsing the choreography, camera movements, timing, and transitions repeatedly before successfully completing the final take. The seamless execution reflects not only the members’ dedication and professionalism but also the remarkable teamwork behind the scenes.

As the music video reaches its one-million-view milestone, KAIA extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make the project possible—from the songwriters, producers, choreographers, stylists, glam team, and management, to the entire music video production team whose passion, creativity, and commitment brought the concept to life. Every rehearsal, every adjustment, and every take became part of a collective effort that audiences continue to appreciate today.

The group also expresses its sincere appreciation to ZAIA and everyone who has supported “TANGA” from the very beginning and to those who continue to discover and share the song today. Reaching one million views is a meaningful reminder that great music can continue to find new audiences over time.

As KAIA enters the exciting new chapter of its “hulog” era—following the success of the sold-out KAZAIAHAN FEST Manila and with “hulog”—the group looks back on “TANGA” with gratitude while looking ahead with even greater optimism.

“TANGA has already come a long way, but we believe its journey is far from over. To everyone who has listened, watched, streamed, shared, danced, and believed in the song—thank you for being part of this milestone. We hope you’ll continue supporting ‘TANGA,’ ‘hulog,’ and KAIA as we create more music and memories together.” With every milestone, KAIA remains committed to pushing the boundaries of P-Pop through meaningful music, compelling performances, and stories that connect with audiences in the Philippines and beyond.

  • BINI, G22, and KAIA on One Stage, Only at Puregold OPM CON 2025

BINI, G22, and KAIA on One Stage, Only at Puregold OPM CON 2025

PPop fans rejoiced as the unthinkable finally happened—three of OPM’s biggest girl groups finally shared the stage

To many OPM fans, getting three of PPop’s biggest girl groups to perform together on the same stage used to be an idea so ambitious that it seemed improbable. That is, until July 5 when Puregold’s OPM Con 2025 wielded the night’s most exciting magic trick—BINI, KAIA, and G22 sharing the Philippine Arena’s enormous stage for the most amazing display of unity and celebrity power that the PPop world has ever seen.

BINI delivered a show-stopping performance, stringing along their greatest hits, including Karera and Pantropiko.
Featuring some of the most influential artists across OPM genres, Puregold OPM Con 2025 was the biggest Pinoy music event of the year.
Bringing together BINI, KAIA, and G22 showed the “panalo” spirit of unity and Pinay power.

While every BLOOM, ZAIA, and BULLET may have showed up to watch their favorite groups’ solo performances, nothing could have prepared fans for the three unforgettable moments that would ultimately define the event. These three moments saw the unthinkable finally come true, turning every PPop stan’s dreams into reality.

Charlotte of KAIA and Alfea of G22 came out for the first collab of the night, joining BINI during their performance of recent hit “Shagidi

First, during BINI’s performance of their hit single “Shagidi,” Charlotte of KAIA and Alfea of G22 came out together with Stell of SB19 to partake in the synchronized dance. Fans of all three girl groups were instantly whipped into a frenzy as they witnessed the sheer force of all three groups teaming up on stage.

KAIA, G22, and BINI Sheena joined rock legend Rico Blanco and boy wonders SB19 for their performance of “Dungka.”
For many Filipino fans, getting to see three PPop powerhouses join forces was a surreal moment like no other.
KAIA dominated the stage with their performances of hit singles like “Tanga” and “You Did It.”

Concert viewers were further stunned when Pinoy rock legend Rico Blanco joined boy group SB19 in performing the latter’s hit single “Dungka.” During the number, KAIA, G22, and Sheena of BINI swooped onstage to link up with Blanco and SB19. Just imagine five Pinoy powerhouses joining forces to celebrate Pinoy music!

G22, also known as PPop’s Female Alphas, took their moniker to heart by commanding the entire Philippine Arena to its feet.
Every PPop stan at Puregold OPM Con 2025 showed up and stayed for the biggest Pinoy music event of the year.

Finally, in sync with the event’s headliners, all three girl groups united once more for a dazzling performance of Puregold’s anthem “Nasa Atin ang Panalo,” a song that perfectly reflects the joy and triumph of seeing BINI, KAIA, and G22 collectively uplifting Pinoy music.

While every BLOOM, ZAIA, and BULLET may have shown up to watch their favorite groups’ solo performances, nothing could have prepared fans for the unforgettable collaborations.

Social media’s positive response to this grand finale validated Puregold OPM Con 2025’s theme of togetherness. For one night, BINI, KAIA, and G22’s fandoms momentarily set aside exclusivity and chose, instead, to uplift one another and celebrate the power of Pinoy music as a whole.

The OPM Con is one of Puregold’s many endeavors in supporting the arts, just like their annual CinePanalo film festival, and their series available online.

Perhaps it was the shared experience of concert goers securing their tickets through grocery shopping—or the matchless production value of the event, with each act getting a chance to shine through their individual stages.

Puregold OPM Con 2025 proved that all it takes is three incredible girl groups, one legendary stage, and 30,000 people who believe in the shared power of true Filipino music.

Maybe it was the sheer size of the crowd—30,000 ardent OPM fans screaming at the top of their lungs. Or maybe it was just ‘lightning in a bottle’, with the perfect storm of artists and ambiance. Whatever the reason, every PPop stan at Puregold OPM Con 2025 showed up and stayed for the biggest Pinoy music event of the year.

For one final performance, every act, including BINI, KAIA, and G22, took the stage to sing Puregold’s winning anthem “Nasa

In the end, Puregold OPM Con 2025 proved that magic needs neither sleight-of-hand tricks nor a complex formula. Sometimes all it takes is three incredible girl groups, one legendary stage, and 30,000 people who believe in the shared power of true Filipino music.
