Young Filipino singing talents are set to take center stage as The Clash Teens premieres on June 7, bringing a new season of intense vocal battles, shocking twists, and a new generation of Clashers.
GMA Network’s all-original Filipino reality singing competition is hosted by Clash Masters—Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose and Kapuso Total Heartthrob Rayver Cruz.
Through the years, Julie and Rayver have heard heartfelt personal stories from the Clashers and witnessed them step into the Clash Arena, filled with hopes and dreams.
Coming back to the Clash Panel is Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista. Joining him and bringing a fresh energy and perspective to this season are new judges Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward and Chinito P-Pop Charmer JL of BGYO.
Now in his eighth season as an OG and seasoned panel member, Christian serves as the voice of experience and musical guidance for young singers.
As one of the brightest stars of her generation, Jillian, meanwhile, shares her kabataang Pinoy energy and performer’s insight, while understanding the pressure, expectations, and challenges that young talents experience.
On the other hand, this marks a full-circle moment for BGYO JL, who went from being a hopeful contestant of The Clash to returning as a member of the Clash Panel. He is now the symbol of growth and perseverance to teen Clashers and bridges two worlds—the competitive stage of The Clash and the modern global stage of P-Pop.
Under the direction of the multi-awarded Louie Ignacio, The Clash Teens promises new challenges that are sure to surprise not only the viewers but also the Clash Panel and the Clashers themselves. Intense drama is also expected behind the scenes, highlighting the reality of a competition where there are friendships, rivalries, struggles, and victories.
Catch The Clash Teens every Sunday at 7:15 p.m. on GMA-7 and Kapuso Stream. Global Pinoys can also watch the program via GMA Pinoy TV.

Manila, Philippines— NYMA, the premier talent management arm of KROMA Entertainment, is thrilled to announce exciting additions to its roster: Christian Bautista, Eric Nam, Jamie Miller, Abi Marquez, and Lester “Buji” Babiera. Each one brings their distinct talent and diverse audiences, building up NYMA as a fast-rising agency in the entertainment industry.
Christian Bautista is a singer, actor, host and model with an illustrious career spanning two decades. His multi-platinum self-titled album propelled him to OPM stardom, with unforgettable hits like “The Way You Look at Me,” “Colour Everywhere,” and “Hands to Heaven.” Beyond his massive success in the Philippines, Christian has established a devoted fanbase in Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. He was cast in the international series “The Kitchen Musical,” which aired in 12 countries, and has taken on lead roles in musicals such as “West Side Story” and “Rama Hari.” Christian’s enduring presence in the industry is a testament to his remarkable talent and ability to charm audiences across borders. He will be co-managed with The Stages Group.
Abi Marquez, also known as Lumpia Kween, has quickly risen to become one of the Philippines’ most popular food content creators. Debuting in 2022, she has gained a significant following of over 2.8 million on TikTok alone, with her videos amassing over 689 million plays. Her frequent appearances as a guest on FEATR, one of the top food and travel YouTube channels in the Philippines, participation as the sole Filipino food content creator speaker at META Singapore 2022, and recent video with Andy Hearnden (@andy_cooks on TikTok), have further cemented her status in the food scene. As NYMA’s exclusive talent, Abi Marquez is expected to attract viewers with even more delectable and mouthwatering dishes.
Lester “Buji” Babiera is an iconic online meme who has been featured on national TV three times in his life—from the “mahiligmag-Facebook” student in 2011 to a “saksi” who witnessed a road crash, and a “cycling advocate” in 2022. Founder of the First Bike Ridecycling community, Buji believes that there will be better roads if everyone rides a bike. To add to his Internet fame, Buji is a rising TikTok star (he just reached his 1.2M follower milestone!) who tells all sorts of stories on the platform. With a new road ahead of him in the entertainment industry, Buji is eager for his next ride as NYMA’s exclusive talent.
Short for “Now You Must Aspire,” NYMA aims to revolutionize the industry by nurturing trailblazers to break through all media spaces. Originally envisioned to bring Filipino entertainment to the world, NYMA has grown to represent global talent in the Philippines. Partnering with EN Management, an independent management and entertainment company founded by Eddie Nam and home to numerous global talent, NYMA has successfully signed two of today’s biggest global musical celebrities— K-Pop superstar Eric Nam and pop singer-songwriter Jamie Miller.
Korean-American Eric Nam is a singer, songwriter, actor, podcaster, and TV personality. With a remarkable discography that includes chart-toppers like “Echo,” “Honestly,” and “Can’t Help Myself,” Eric has made a name in K-Pop and beyond. He has earned numerous accolades, including being Man of the Year by GQ Korea in 2016, Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in 2017, and YouTube Music Global Trending Artists on the Rise in 2019. As he visits Manila for the third time to promote his highly anticipated single “House on the Hill,” Eric is determined to showcase his diverse artistry to his loyal legion of fans.
Jamie Miller, currently based in Los Angeles, has gained significant acclaim for his song “Here’s Your Perfect” and as the opening act for Jesse McCartney and Calum Scott’s world tours. With over one billion global streams across digital streaming platforms and a new hit single “Maybe Next Time” (racking up 15M+ views on TikTok and 1.5M+ streams within the first few days of its release), Jamie has come so far since his third-place finish on “The Voice UK” in 2017. Driven by his immense love for his Filipino admirers and appreciation for Filipino talent, Jamie has performed with Asia’s Phoenix Morissette, released a remixed version of his latest single with Moira Dela Torre in partnership with Universal Music Group, and openly expressed his wish to collaborate with SB19’s Stell.
Christian, Eric, Jamie, Abi, and Buji join an impressive lineup of NYMA talents, including actress and K-content queen Kristel Fulgar, visionary founder of Home Buddies “Mayora” Frances Lim Cabatuando, and visual artist and content creator Raco Ruiz.
“To witness the incredible growth of NYMA in just 1.5 years has been nothing short of amazing,” shares Kat Bautista, Head of NYMA. “NYMA represents a vision—for artists to aspire and realize their dreams, for the world to get to know Filipino talent, and to expand opportunities for great international talents to connect with their Filipino fans. I am proud of what we have built and honored that these artists and their respective managements have chosen to collaborate with us.”
Expect more of Christian, Eric, Jamie, Abi, and Buji as they continue their professional journey with NYMA, transcend boundaries, and soar to new heights in the tradigital realm.
“This album is a journey to find my next music path, a challenge to write more songs and to continue writing songs for others,” revealed Asia’s Romantic Balladeer, Christian Bautista, as he was in the process of concocting yet another masterpiece.
This September 29, Christian Bautista is poised to unveil his 7th album under Universal Records entitled Kapit, duly named after his famed song. The Kapit album launch, happening at the Music Museum, will also serve as a concert treat for his listeners. For only PHP 500, fans can get their hands on Kapit while watching Christian Bautista and renowned performers like The CompanY, plus other surprise guests, live!
The single, Kapit’s success, bolstered by constant radio airplays and a spot as Koreanovela Innocent Defendant’s theme song, led Stages and Universal Records to produce the event for the OPM icon’s latest album. “[Kapit is] a song about holding on despite the many hardships of any relationship,” shares Asia’s Romantic Balladeer, Christian Bautista.
