It’s hard to pick a song once it’s EHEADS. 🙂 But I guess the best fave song for me is TOYANG, because it somehow represent my past 🙂 I was in gr.5 back then, Our house was small, but my family still eats together. Wish I could go back to that time. :)) But it’s good I have friends, who I considered my TOYANGS. :))

Of course the first is ANG HULING EL BIMBO or the just call it EL BIMBO. There’s something different with that song. Hahaha.. Ang sarap sumakay sa jeep tapos yun yung kanta. Ang daming beses ko na yun nagawa together with my significant other. yung as in nakakarelate kayo sa song.Ang galing kasi when you listen to the song.. ikaw yung mapupunta sa soul ng bawat caracter na nasa story ng song na to. It is just simply great! Ang sarap talaga pakinggan all over again and again and again and again and again — to eternity 🙂 Hahaha. But not just El Bimbo/Ang Huling El Bimbo boomed my heart. Since mapakinggan ko yung Fruitcake, I’m like .. “ANG GALING AH! PARANG INTERNATIONAL BAND YUNG KUMANTA.” Etong kanta na to, kailangan ng deeper interpretation and you need to go through and between the liines. Samahan mo pa nung magandang melody and rhythm? Madadala ka talaga. Super gusto ko tong dalawang song na to. And syempre, wala tong song na to kung wala ang EHeads 😀 — Sana .. their songs would be a legend for the coming years and them too! THE BAND ITSELF IS A LEGEND 😀

My favorite song is “Huwag Kang Matakot”. This song cheers me up, it gives me hope and it never fails to remind me that someone is always here for me, no matter what happens. It’s the best Filipino song I’ve ever heard and I’m not even kidding. I can’t deny how much I love the band because of that song. The song saved me once; I almost gave up on life because I thought no one cared. But then, Eraserheads told me that someone’s always here for me and some people do care about me. That thought never came out of my mind until now.
Ang Huling El Bimbo- the lyrics of the song perfectly describes my dream of having that kind of love. Childhood sweethearts! 😀

Also, Ligaya. Though I’m a woman, I want to sing this to someone I dearly love. “Sagutin mo lang ako, aing sinta’y walang humpay na ligaya…” Kaso di ko ‘to magawa, babae ako eh. The best song para sa mga “sawi” pero the tune is in contrast to what the song says. ♥
Magasin : it’s catchy and one of my mood upper songs. it also reminds me of my high school days because i hear it during our tambay hours. 😀
“Para sa Masa” is my favorite Eraserheads song. This is the song dedicated to all their fans. This is the song that symbolizes how great the connection between the band and the fans. This song proves that even time goes by, there is a band in the music industry that tells that once in our lives they affect us in many aspects. Eraserheads is there not only as a band but also as a part of our lives. From time to time, no one can defeat the band.
