Kyler teamed up with Kal So-won to support Lee Seung Chul’s “It’s Rainy Day” music video which came out on June 11.
Kyler from HORI7ON and actress Kal So-won are showing their support for Lee Seung Chul’s comeback.
The announcement was made on the 10th by MLD Entertainment: “The music video for Lee Seung Chul’s new song ‘It’s Rainy Day’ features actress Kal So-won and HORI7ON member Kyler.” With their passionate acting, please anticipate the two working in unison.
After nearly three years, Lee Seung Chul made a comeback to the music industry with the song “It’s Rainy Day,” a modern rock song with a medium tempo. In addition, it is the first single from a project that will culminate in the release of 13 full-length albums by Lee Seung Chul and a special album celebrating his 40th anniversary.
The music video for “It’s Rainy Day” in particular is gaining attention since it stars actress Kal So-won, who gained a lot of popularity from the public for the movie “Miracle in Cell No. 7,” and Kyler from HORI7ON, who has been progressively making his way as a global rookie. The projected synergy of their work is eagerly anticipated.
The preview for Kyler and Kal So-won’s “It’s Rainy Day” music video, which features scenes from a youth film, was enough to draw notice. Emotions are heightened by Kyler’s arresting graphics and Kal So-won’s novel interpretation that evokes memories of first love, piquing interest throughout the entire music video.
In conjunction with the release of “It’s Rainy Day,” Lee Seung Chul will go on a “Rock’n All” national tour. Commencing on the 15th in Gunsan, the concert will occur in different parts of the country. During these performances, Lee Seung Chul intends to debut the live version of “It’s Rainy Day” and provide a varied repertoire to foster meaningful moments with the attendees.
On the 11th at 6PM, the music video for “It’s Rainy Day” by Lee Seung Chul, which features Kyler and Kal So-won, has been released.
Stell, a key member of the popular Filipino boy band SB19, delighted his fans with a unique and memorable showcase for his latest single, ‘ROOM.’ The event, filled with surprises marked an important step in STELL’s solo career.
The showcase began with an unexpected theatrical skit that immediately engaged the audience, and was incredibly appropriate that the location of his release is on the Teatrino Promenade, last June 21, 2024. The skit, which was closely tied to the music video released at 7 PM that same evening, set the scene for the song’s story and added a rich layer of depth to the overall experience. The creative mix of drama and music highlighted STELL’s versatility and commitment to providing an immersive experience for his fans.
STELL’s journey to releasing ‘ROOM’ was a collaborative effort involving his SB19 bandmates. Pablo, known for his talent for songwriting, wrote the lyrics for ‘ROOM’, giving it personal and relatable themes. Justin, another talented member of SB19, directed the music video, ensuring that the visuals perfectly matched the song’s vibe. His bandmates’ hands-on involvement showed their strong bond and their collective dedication to producing high-quality music and visuals.
Despite feeling initially unprepared, STELL decided it was the right time to release his solo work. As the last member of SB19 to launch a solo project, his decision was met with strong support from fans and peers alike. The result was ‘ROOM,’ a funky track that STELL mentioned he wanted to have his sound as that is inspired by musicians like Bruno Mars’ upbeat and infectious sounds. The song’s groovy beats and catchy melodies demonstrate STELL’s ability to blend different musical influences to create something uniquely his own.
During his performance, STELL was able to showcase his impressive vocal range and control. His smooth vocals and powerful high notes added an extra layer of richness to the song. The overall reception has the potential to resonate with international audiences as it was a polished production, a catchy melody included with a well-known phrase, “Can you read the room?”, and the universal appeal of ‘ROOM’ make it a strong contender for an international hit.
STELL also made an exciting announcement during his sit-down interview. He revealed that he is working on his first EP, set to be released in August. This EP will be accompanied by a nationwide tour, giving fans across the country the chance to experience his music live and see his growth as a solo artist.
STELL’s ‘ROOM’ single showcase was not just a celebration of his new release but also a demonstration of his artistic journey and the support system within SB19. As he steps into this new chapter, A’TINs eagerly anticipate the fresh and innovative music that STELL will continue to deliver.

Oishi and TWICE teamed up to give Filo Onces a fun and flavorful day at the TWICE x Oishi Snacktacular Fan Meet, held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on June 1, 2024.
Last September 2023, the beloved Filipino snack brand Oishi unveiled their partnership with international K-pop sensation TWICE, through a 60-second video reenacting the music video of their 2018 hit What is Love? and featuring four of Oishi’s most loved snacks: Spicy Oishi Prawn Crackers, Pillows, Potato Fries, and Miggos.
This 2024, they took their collaboration a step further, first with O, Wow O, Wow Bag, which includes Oishi snacks and an Oishi x TWICE photocard. This was followed by the TWICE x Oishi Snacktacular Fan Bag, which Onces could purchase for a special edition Oishi x TWICE selca photocard, a card sleeve or a poster, and most importantly, a chance to win tickets to the fan meet.
TWICE answers burning, burning questions at the Press Conference
The O, Wow O, Wow day started off with an exclusive press conference, where members Mina, Chaeyoung, Nayeon, Sana, Tzuyu, Jeongyeon, Dahyun, Momo, and Jihyo recounted all the delicious Oishi snacks they tried during the ad shoot, and their favorite moments from their recent READY TO BE tour, including hearing Onces from all over the world singing their songs in Korean, and previous visits in Manila. “A memorable O, Wow! O, Wow! moment for me is when we first visited Manila in 2019,” said youngest member Tzuyu. “The passionate support and love we received from Filipino Onces was very overwhelming and touching for us all.”
The members also talked about the Filipino food they’ve tried, giving a special shoutout to their favorite Oishi snack. “Miggos is our favorite one! Even when we were in Korea, we kept asking for more Miggos,” shared leader Jihyo.
When asked why they decided to partner with Oishi, Dahyun said, “Firstly, all the members love snacks! Secondly, Oishi is a brand that represents the Philippines, and is a famous brand here. We wanted to collaborate with Oishi to create a good synergy with snacks in the Philippines.”
TWICE and Filipino Onces enjoy a Snacktacular afternoon of games and prizes
Later in the day, Filipino Onces gathered for an afternoon filled with games, prizes, and fancy moments with TWICE. Before the main program began, special raffles and a random play dance challenge were held for fans, giving lucky Onces exclusive gifts from Oishi and TWICE, as well as the opportunity to participate in the event segments.
Throughout the fan meet, TWICE members showed off their charming and playful personalities, which have drawn Onces to them throughout their career. Some of the games included Make Your Own Snack, which allowed the members to customize and name their own snack that were given to lucky raffle winners; Snack Shack, where the members showed off their competitive side working in teams to bag as many Oishi snacks as they could within 60 seconds; and the O, Wow! O, Wow! Flavor Remix, a play on random dance challenge, where members added their own spicy, sweet, cheesy or corny flavor to their iconic choreography.
Finally, the time came for TWICE and Onces to play games together. First was the TWICE x Oishi Dance Challenge, where pre-selected fans danced to their favorite TWICE song without music, prompting the members to guess the song.
Closing out the game portion of the program was Cuckoo Catcher, where the members competed in sub-units to shoot as many balls into the Oishi mascot Cuckoo Bird’s stomach.
It was not just all fun and games, as it was time for Onces to make TWICE feel special. To celebrate members Dahyun and Tzuyu’s birthdays, Filipino Onces sang their hearts out in Tagalog and Korean to share their well wishes for both. Onces also surprised their favorite girl group with a special fan video, recapping their favorite O, Wow! O, Wow! moments throughout TWICE’s career. Wrapping up the event, TWICE thanked their Filipino fans for once again lighting up the arena with love for the group. SVIP ticket holders were also surprised by TWICE as they came back on stage to personally hand the signed posters they won.
“We love that we have another opportunity to meet Filipino Onces, and be introduced to more snacks, thanks to Oishi,” said Nayeon. From their first greeting to their final goodbye, the TWICE x Oishi Snacktacular Fan Meet was indeed filled with one in a million, O, Wow! O, Wow! moments.
Complete the full set of 11 special selca photocards, 3 poster designs and 4 photocard sleeves when you buy the limited edition Twice x Oishi Snacktacular Fan Bag, available in all Oishi’s official online stores and participating supermarkets and groceries nationwide.

Kitchie Nadal held her sold-out 20th Anniversary Concert titled Same Ground at the New Frontier Theater on June 2. Presented by Gabi Na Naman Productions, the two-hour show featured her diverse musicality over the years with special guest appearances of her colleagues in the industry. The concert marked Kitchie’s first ever solo major concert. It was as much a celebration as it was a rediscovery of her artistry.
In 2004, Kitchie Nadal released her debut eponymous album, containing the tracks “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin”, “Same Ground” and “Bulong !!!”. While the 3 songs are now collectively known as the “8334 Kitchie Nadal Medley” in karaoke machines at every Filipino party, not everyone knows the depth of her discography. Seeing her shine during her concert that night reminded us what an icon Kitchie Nadal really is.
We’ll take you down the highlights of her 2024 homecoming anniversary concert one by one.
1. A trip down memory lane
Kitchie Nadal gave the audience a colorful trip down memory lane. It goes without saying that she played her best hits, but she also gave the same love for her well-crafted B-sides. The first song for the evening was “Breathe” which was interestingly also listed as the first song in her first album. This was followed by “Fire” and her debut single “Run”.
“Malaya”, a song released in 2013, also got its spotlight as it featured an eclectic mix of violins and beatboxing, a diversion from her usual guitar-driven music. Violinist Jie Song Zhang of the Stone Forest Ensemble performed the song with her.
She introduced her latest single “Lahat” which she wrote in reference to the life she built with her family in Spain. She dedicated the song to her children and said that motherhood was one of the best things that happened to her.
2. Teleserye soundtracks
In 2007, Kitchie released the album Drama Queen which contained songs that were soundtracks of popular teleseryes during the time. She paid homage to these tracks during the concert. As snippets of the shows flashed on the screen, she performed a medley of “Makulay na Buhay” (I Luv NY), “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin” (Lovers in Paris) and “Majika”.
3. Kitchie Nadal was also an actress!
Unbeknownst to many, Kitchie starred in a movie called The Muses in 2013. She also wrote songs for the movie.
The story revolved around two sisters who were pursuing a career in music. She was the younger sister in the movie. Janelle Jamer, who played the role of her older sister in the movie, went on stage to perform tracks from the movie. As an important part of her career, she made it a point to introduce the movie to the crowd, showing snippets here and there.
4. The Tanaw Squad showed their love and support.
We would never listen to Imago’s “Sundo” in the same way ever again after the show. When the queens of OPM rock bands – composed of Acel Bisa (formerly of Moonstar 88), Aia De Leon (formerly of Imago), Barbie Almalbis (Hungry Young Poets, Barbie’s Cradle), Hannah Romawac (Session Road) and Lougee Basabas (Mojofly) – performed the song with Kitchie, it was like pieces of the puzzle came together to form one beautiful picture, or in this case, one beautiful piece.
Trivia: Together, the six of them held an awesome sold-out concert titled Tanaw in 2022 hence the squad name.
5. Special guests
As much as the show celebrated Kitchie Nadal’s music, it also showcased her colleagues’ talents. In between costume changes, certain artists took the helm for a bit.
Barbie Almalbis played “Torpe”. Zild, who was introduced as the future of OPM, performed “T.L. Ako Sayo” with Kitchie. Monty Macalino of Mayonnaise performed a cover of Eraserheads’ “Ligaya” followed by “Jopay” .
6. The ties that bind
She paid tribute to her family and friends, not just verbally, but by featuring them on stage. Her mother played the piano as she sang a stirring rendition of “I’ll Be There”. Later on, her siblings joined her in singing. Kitchie shared that she sang the song to her father who was on his deathbed.
Her high school friends whom she jammed with long ago were also present. Together, they played The Cranberries’ “Linger”.
7. Kitchie Nadal-Core Outfits
Not only is Kitchie an alt-rock music icon, she is also a fashion icon to many. The term “Kitchie Nadal-core” has recently become a trending topic for Gen Z’s on TikTok. The star, of course, lived up to her reputation by donning gorgeous sets of outfits during her show. It began with the modernized burgundy and black baro’t saya matched with fishnet stockings, followed by the white fringe/layered lace top with the elegantly embellished white shorts. For the encore, she wore the sequined black top and pants which sparkled wonderfully.
8. 8334 a.k.a. Kitchie Nadal Medley.
Before the encore, a Karaoke-style video with moving lyrics backed by the minus-one recording of her songs played. Members of the audience were quick to sing along loudly with some even reaching out for the microphones to show their singing skills, Pinoy party style.
Still, no one sings it better than the original. The crowd stood up and sang along to “Same Ground”, “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin” and “Bulong !!!” with none other than Kitchie Nadal, a festive end to a colorful evening.
It’s amazing that 20 years later, we finally got to see Kitchie Nadal on the same ground, owning the stage by herself. As a fan who has known her since her first single, it was not only a nostalgic trip to the past, but it was also a rediscovery of her music. Twenty years on and I still got to learn new things about her as a person and as an artist, and for that, I’m grateful.
Honestly, it seems unbelievable that this was only her first major solo show, ever. At the start of the concert, she revealed that she was afraid of doing it before. “Ngayon lang nawala takot ko dahil sa pagmamahal niyo. Totoo nga na ‘There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear’,” she said, quoting a bible verse. She repeatedly thanked the crowd for coming to the show.
Dingdong Avanzado is marking his 37th year in show business with a concert entitled “The Original Prince of Pinoy Pop” at The Theatre at Solaire on July 19, 2024, Friday, and his guests for this one-night only show are those who hold an exceptional place in his heart.
Leading the lineup are Dingdong’s family– his wife Jessa Zaragoza and daughter Jayda, his friend Randy Santiago, and, in a very, very special appearance– singer-songwriter Pablo of SB19 whom Dingdong has expressed a deep admiration for.
Also among the guests are Idol Philippines Season 2 winner Khimo, Tawag ng Tanghalan Grand Duets champions Marielle Montellano and JM dela Cerna, and singer and award-winning actor LA Santos.
Each guest was chosen by Dingdong and the songs they will sing with him were especially selected by the singer-songwriter himself.
“Talking with my guests about the numbers we’ll be doing, and then discussing the details about these with my musical director Elmer Blancaflor and concert director Jay Klio Bermudez, already got us all so excited! We can’t wait to perform these for the audience on July 19,” Dingdong enthused.

Jason Wade, more popularly known as the frontman of the pop-rock band Lifehouse, returned to the Philippines for a one-night full acoustic show at the New Frontier Theater on the 1st of June. On stage, he was supported by Lifehouse guitarist Steve Stout. The 1.5-hour show was a comprehensive throwback to the best Lifehouse tracks, with a few covers and some new compositions.
Presented by Super Awesome Productions, the event was part of the Playback Music Festival, a concert series that previously brought the well-loved musical acts like Boys Like Girls, Leigh Nash (Sixpence None the Richer), Vertical Horizon, A1 and more.
Jason Wade is no stranger to the Filipino crowd. With Lifehouse, he had played shows with the full band as early as 2008. Before this concert, his last visit here was during Lifehouse’s 2015 concert at the MOA Arena. This evening, however, was special as it was his first time to play a completely acoustic show in Manila. For anyone who has known Lifehouse, their live acoustic sets tend to hit differently – Jason’s baritone crooning backed by the crisp, clean acoustic playthrough gives the songs an extra emotional depth.
The New Frontier Theater’s set-up was simple. The stage had two mic stands in the middle as spotlights beamed around. Jason and Steve entered with their acoustic guitars, and started playing. “Somewhere in Between”, “First Time” and “Halfway Gone” were among the first songs.
The fully seated crowd watched attentively, taking in the music and singing along softly as it was played.
The setlist honored the best Lifehouse tracks from their long-spanning discography since the year 2000. From the album No Name Face, they played “Sick Cycle Carousel”, “Breathing” and “Everything”. “Stanley Climbfall”, “Spin” and “Take Me Away” were included from the picks from their sophomore album. From Who We Are, we heard “Whatever It Takes”, “Broken” and “Storm”, and so on.
Compared to the clean-shaven Jason Wade that we got so used to in the early 2000s, he now sports a full beard with a matching fedora hat, making him look considerably older. Moreover, he now has a family of his own. He shared that he wrote the song “All of My Life” for his 18-month old baby and his wife. The song which was released on Spotify on May 21 got one of its first live performances in Manila.
Besides the usual Lifehouse favorites, there were some additions to the setlist such as the Shrek soundtrack “You Belong to Me”, the ukulele-infused chill summer song “A Place in the Sand”, and a cover of The Beatles’ “Here Comes the Sun”. As an exclusive treat for Filipino fans, Jason Wade also included a surprise song. “I heard you’d like this song. I tried hard to learn it. I hope you like it,” he said before playing “Let Me be the One”, the popular hit by Jimmy Bondoc.
Throughout the evening, a blanket of calmness wrapped around the audience. Instead of the loud karaoke-level singing, we had a hushed and restrained atmosphere in the theater. Guests, who were mostly adults in their late 20s and above, stayed seated for most of the show, singing along softly to each piece – something that didn’t go unnoticed with Jason and Steve. The two took the time to scan the crowd to listen.
When they came back for the encore, they played the much awaited ballad “You and Me” and “Blind”. For the finale, it was none other than Lifehouse’s debut single “Hanging by a Moment”. “Thank you so much, Manila! We love you guys. Thai actors Pavel, Pooh, Ping, Nut, Sailub, Pon, Benz, Garfield, TopTen, Michael, Lee, and Pop are ready to set the stage ablaze as they race into the hearts of their Filipino audience, who have been captivated by their wild and exhilarating drama series.
Pit Babe The Series is an action-packed, drama-filled Thai boys’ love series that explores the high-stakes world of professional race car driving. Its blend of intense competition, complex relationships, and personal struggles hooked the audience. The series centers around Babe (Pavel), a celebrated race car driver from the X-Hunter Team, renowned for his winning streak and numerous championship titles. As a special Alpha, Babe possesses heightened senses, giving him a competitive edge on the track.
Babe is well-liked by his teammates, including team owner Alan (Sailub) and pit crew members North (Michael) and Sonic (TopTen). He deeply bonds with his best friend and fellow driver, Way (Nut), who secretly harbors romantic feelings for him. Despite their close friendship, Babe only sees Way as a friend and engages in numerous casual relationships to relieve stress.
The storyline takes a turn when Babe meets an enthusiastic fan named Charlie (Pooh), leading to a steamy hookup and an unexpected ongoing relationship. Contrary to his team’s predictions, Charlie becomes a constant presence in Babe’s life, raising Way’s suspicions. Way becomes extremely cautious as the X-Hunter Team faces a new rival in Tony, the CEO of UAC Corp, who is determined to dethrone Babe using any means necessary.
