Reb Atadero is an award-winning Filipino actor, singer, host, voice actor, director, and content creator. Notable for his work on stage, he recently portrayed Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors, Mark Cohen in Rent, M in Lungs, and Michael in Tick, Tick… Boom!, which earned him the PHILSTAGE Gawad Buhay Award for Outstanding Male Featured Actor in a Musical. He was also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor for Ang Huling El Bimbo in 2019. Throughout his 18-year career, Reb has worked with top Philippine theatre companies such as Atlantis Theatrical and Repertory Philippines. In addition to his acting achievements, he has directed productions for Ateneo Blue Repertory and co-founded the Company of Actors in Streamlined Theatre. He is also known for creating educational content as @rebranger on YouTube, Spotify, and TikTok.
LAURENCE MOSSMAN AS OLAF
Laurence is an accomplished international musical theatre performer, currently starring as Thuy in the 2023-2024 Australian and Asian tour of Miss Saigon. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Music from the University of Otago, New Zealand, with training in Classical Singing. After relocating to Manila, Philippines, he became a member of the vocal trio Primo, regularly performing at Resorts World Manila, and made his television debut on ABS-CBN’s Dolce Amore. Laurence’s theatre debut came in 2016 with Fun Home alongside Lea Salonga, and he gained further recognition as Charlie Price in Kinky Boots. He has also performed in A Christmas Carol and Mamma Mia. Laurence recently signed with Creative Artists Management and plans to move to London in 2025 to advance his career in the West End.
JOREEN BAUTISTA AS ANNA
Joreen Bautista is a talented theatre actress known for her captivating performances both on stage and online. She has performed across the UK and Europe, notably as the alternate Kim in Miss Saigon, earning praise for her powerful vocals and emotional depth. Joreen has built a strong digital presence, where she is affectionately called the “Filipina Disney Princess” on TikTok. Her videos, featuring Disney songs, have gained a loyal following for their warmth, authenticity, and her enchanting voice that embodies the spirit of classic Disney heroines.
GAB PANGILINAN AS ELSA
Gab Pangilinan is a versatile stage and screen actor known for her standout performances in Philippine theater. Some of her notable roles include Young Joy in Ang Huling El Bimbo, Roxane in Mula sa Buwan, Cathy Hiatt in The Last Five Years, Daisy Hilton in Side Show, and Prinsesa Mina in Tagu-taguan Nasaan Ang Buwan. In 2021, she won Best Leading Female Performance in the Digital Category at the 27th Asian Television Awards for Still (Viu Originals). Gab has also been nominated twice for the Philstage Gawad Buhay Awards for her roles in The Last Five Years (2023) and Mula Sa Buwan (2022). She has worked with major theater companies such as PETA, Atlantis Theatrical, and Tanghalang Filipino, recently starring in Pingkian: Isang Musikal and concluding her role as Roxane in Mula sa Buwan.

The Brisbane-based band, formed in 2007, is composed of Sean Caskey (Lead/Backup Vocals, Rhythm/Lead Guitar), Lachlan Caskey (Lead/Backup Vocals, Lead/Rhythm Guitar), Danjuro Koyama (Drums), and Michael Sloane (Bass). Their story began when Sean and Dan met in high school and bonded over their shared love for music. Last Dinosaurs first made waves in the music scene with the release of their debut EP, Back from the Dead in 2010. The album explores existential themes and presents an immersive narrative experience, blending experimental soundscapes with the band’s signature indie-rock style. The album was introduced through two transmission-style videos on YouTube, offering fans a glimpse into the interconnected stories of RYU and KYO, two EPs that serve as the foundation of the KYORYU project. Each EP is accompanied by manga stories that flesh out the characters and storyline further. RYU and KYO are short for the middle names of Sean and Lachlan—Ryusuke and Kyohei—which adds a personal and cultural layer to the project. Interestingly, “KYORYU” translates to “dinosaur” in Japanese, a fitting title for a band that continues to evolve while paying homage to their roots.
The KYORYU project not only pushes the boundaries of indie-rock music but also invites fans into an expansive and imaginative universe, with each song adding new layers to the album’s overarching narrative.

ASIYA—a new Asian music festival and conference experience by KARPOS, the team behind the annual Wanderland Music & Arts Festival in the Philippines—is proud to announce the first edition of “Music Beyond Borders: Navigating Global Markets and Festival Opportunities” conference program, a first-of-its-kind instructive experience designed to elevate Asian music artists and industry professionals to global
competitiveness, on October 12 and 13 at World Trade Center Metro Manila.
The two-day program—which includes a Spotify masterclass, a keynote about the future of the live music experience and innovating programs and practices to advancing music culture, and four panel discussions that will explore key international markets and festivals—will take place before the festival performances from 20 of the most sought-after and exciting acts from the Philippines and across Asia.
Leading minds in the global music industry
“Music Beyond Borders” will feature a series of educational and artist-focused career development talks and speeches by leaders from the international music industry. Kicking off the conference on the first day will be Chesca Tan, Lead Editor for Southeast Asia, and Thea Madrideo, Artist & Label Partnerships Lead for Spotify, who will conduct a masterclass for music artists, a valuable learning opportunity for career-building, as well as maximizing the streaming platform’s offerings and local campaigns, among others.
A keynote discussion between KARPOS’ John Uy and Marta Pallares Olivares of Barcelona, Spain-based diversified music powerhouse Primavera Sound titled “Plug and Played Out: Better Live Music For All – A Conversation With Primavera Sound” will provide a behind-the-scenes look at organizing a world-renowned music festival, discuss the state and future of live music and how to foster a rich music culture and empower artists beyond live music opportunities.
Music artists, industry professionals, enthusiasts, and fans alike will get the chance to have access to rare insights on key, coveted music markets and festivals around the world through four panel discussions featuring speakers with expertise and first-hand, tenured experience in the music business.
“Beyond the Pops: Unpacking East Asia” will delve into the vibrant and diverse world of non-mainstream music in Asia’s largest and most popular music markets. On the panel are Weining Hung of 9Kick and LUCfest (Taiwan), Subhin Jang of Busan Rock Festival (South Korea), Shun Ebihara of Summer Sonic and Creativeman Productions (Japan), and Natsagdorj ‘George’ Tserendorj of Playtime Music Festival (Mongolia). Moderating the discussion is cultural journalist and musician Mariah Reodica (The Buildings).
The “New Favorites: Southeast Asia” panel will examine the rich musical culture of Southeast Asia, addressing how the region can break through the “trigger cities” barrier and elevate its presence on the global stage. Mak Wai Hoo of City ROARS! Coldplay’s highly-anticipated tenth album, Moon Music has landed in stores and on streaming services today. The album can be purchased / downloaded / streamed here.
Moon Music, which was produced by Max Martin, contains August’s iTunes chart-topping single WE PRAY – with Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna & TINI – and June’s double MTV VMAs-nominated single feelslikeimfallinginlove, which reached Number 1 on both the UK’s airplay chart and the Official Big Top 40. In tandem with Coldplay’s ground-breaking sustainability measures on their current world tour – which has so far produced 59% less CO2e emissions than their previous stadium tour – the band have gone to great lengths to make the physical release of Moon Music as sustainable as possible.
This is the world’s first album released as a 140g EcoRecord rPET LP, with each copy made from 9 recycled PET-plastic bottles recovered from post-consumer waste.
Additionally, the band have collaborated with long-time partners The Ocean Cleanup to create an additional format: the Notebook Edition LP. The rPET for this edition comprises 70% river plastic, intercepted by The Ocean Cleanup from the Rio Las Vacas, Guatemala, and prevented from reaching the Gulf of Honduras and the Atlantic Ocean.
The standard CD editions of Moon Music will be the world’s first to be released on EcoCD, created from 90% recycled polycarbonate, sourced from post-consumer waste streams.
In an effort to reduce waste, the first edition run of Moon Music (both EcoRecord LP and EcoCD) will be strictly limited and produced at a higher specification than any future editions. All First Edition EcoRecord LP products will be individually numbered.

This new song, which embraces the seven lads’ coming-of-age transition and displays their unexpected charms, stands out due to its hip-hop pace and potent rap lines. It signals a departure from the group’s youthful image. Filipino singer-songwriter Shanne Dandan has announced the release of her highly anticipated debut album, Kung Iyong Mamarapatin—officially due out on October 25, 2024, via Viva Records.
The 10-track album serves as an elegy for the unrealized self and a hopeful anthem for what is yet to come. Shanne penned and recorded the upcoming release after experiencing profound sadness and struggling to give herself the grace and acceptance she deserves.
“Growing up, I’ve always sung what my mother and grandmother listened to,” says the indie-folk act. The way a singer uses their voice to tell a story has always resonated with me. Kung Iyong Mamarapatin is about saying goodbye to my broken dreams in hopes of creating new, brighter ones.”

Netflix has now released the key art and additional photos for Outside, the streaming platform’s first zombie, psychological thriller from the Philippines.
At the center of the key art is the disheveled family patriarch, Francis (Sid Lucero) wielding a shovel as he buries something in the ground. The image conveys a feeling of unease, capturing how what was once familiar has become mere remnants of a distant, safer past. What remains are attempts to navigate a fragile and unstable reality, with secrets waiting to be uncovered.
The trailer closes with Francis appearing to burst through the title card and the slogan, “You can’t keep out what’s already inside,” and entering the chamber where Iris and Lucas are hiding.
During the Netflix APAC Southeast Asia Showcase in Indonesia, the director of “Outside” reveals that the film is more than just a zombie movie. The director describes it as a “terrifying psychological thriller.”

The six-piece band also recently performed at “Carnival Fever Festival 2024” in Taiwan in May and returned in early September for the multinational festival “Jam Jam Asia” performing alongside artists from Taiwan as well as across Asia.
Billyrrom has been chosen as Japan’s representative for “Fender Next ™” 2024, a Fender Next Generation Artist Support Program that has selected 25 promising talents out of 1,000 artists worldwide.

The Weeknd has officially unveiled “Timeless,” with Playboi Carti, through XO/Republic Records. The track made its debut during The Weeknd’s sold-out performance at Estádio Morumbi in São Paulo, where Carti surprised fans with a special appearance. FILO EYEKONS STAND STRONG! Global girl group KATSEYE attracts thousands of fans and trends at #1 on social media platform X with their showcase at Ayala Malls Market! Market!. Held on September 18 (Wednesday), the group capped off their activities in the Philippines with the highly anticipated “KATSEYE: Touchdown in Manila Official Fan Showcase,” where they finally got to meet their Filipino fans and treat them to live pe rformances of songs from their debut EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong).
Despite the gloomy weather, over 9,000 enthusiastic fans showed up to support the group in full force, waving their fan banners and loudly cheering for the group as KATSEYE delivered unforgettable performances of “Debut,” “My Way,” and the viral hit “Touch.” Some very young fans were even spotted dancing along to the trending choreography of “Touch,” highlighting the group’s appeal across all ages.
Audience members were captivated as they witnessed the group introduce themselves and dominate the stage with their infectious aura and charming personalities. Local celebrities, including Pablo from SB19 and Niana Guerrero, were also spotted in the crowd supporting the group.
In addition to unforgettable performances and heartwarming fan interactions, KATSEYE treated the audience to special surprises, including previews of the members’ renditions of “Touch” in different languages, such as Megan and Yoonchae’s respective versions of the track in Japanese and Korean.
Group leader Sophia’s Tagalog rendition of “Touch” particularly had the crowd chanting “Isa pa!” and begging for more, which led to an encore performance of the popular track that had the audience raving and dancing the song’s viral dance moves while the girls performed the track.
As the event came to a close, the crowd chanted, “We love you, KATSEYE!” in unison, with the group emotionally responding with a heartfelt “Mahal namin kayo!”. Hometown member Sophia particularly expressed her gratitude for the crowd’s overwhelming support and her wish to stay in the country even longer: “Thank you so much for coming today, I know our time here was short. We hope that we could come back, be here a lot longer, and perform more songs for you all. […] Thank you so much, I love you!”
The official showcase ends KATSEYE’s three-day visit to the Philippines on a high note, solidifying the group and their bond with Filipino fans even more. Singer – songwriter WALTZ has definitely come a long way in terms of his musicality and talent in songwriting with the release of his latest song entitled, MARAHUYO.
Waltz started at an early age of 18 with his band DOWN BY 18 under the umbrella of Viva Records. The band was able to produce a hit song under their name, PIRING which gave them huge success in radio charts and earned them a nomination in the PMPC Star Awards For Music.
As he starts his journey as a solo artist, WALTZ has debuted with BAHAGHARI for Viva Films and 2 years later, he was signed up with Ant Savvy Artist management and eventually released the song IKAW which marked a significant step in his solo career. And two years later, WALTZ was able to release 3 songs, PAANO, CINDY and MARAHUYO under EMI RECORD LABEL and now being co-managed by Universal Music Group.
MARAHUYO is Waltz’s 3rd song and came out on all digital music platforms just last September 27 and was included in Spotify’s FRESH FINDS PHILIPPINES playlist. Co written by Miss Raquel Federico Gutierrez, they’ve written MARAHUYO as an ode to the people they care about and hold on to for strength. It is also about the struggle of getting over the insecurities, problems, and emotions you have, with the help of the people who believes in oneself.
When asked whom he wants to have a song collaboration with, “Sa international artist, gusto ko po sana with MAROON 5. While sa Local naman, sarap, SI Flow G po siguro, napakagaling po kasi. I am also hoping to have a duet with either Moira or Janine Tenoso.” He also hopes to write a song for the loveteam, KATHNIEL.
