Be the Next: 9 Dreamers is a talent survival show which brings gifted individuals from across Asia to showcase their potential on the global stage. From the global audition held in 2024, the aspirants have been narrowed down to 74, whose dreams are about to take flight – but not without fighting their way to debut as part of a new 9-member boy group.
These dreamers will find themselves under the guidance of expert judges and mentors from the industry to become global idols. The exciting line-up includes 2NE1’s Sandara Park as the show’s emcee, with EXO-CBX Chen, MOMOLAND Hye-bin, AB6IX Woo-jin Park, Ye-dam Bang, and HORI7ON Vinci comprising the celebrity mentors. Leading K-pop choreographer Bae Wan Hee and producer Bullseye will participate as dance mentors.
Known Korean make-up artist and stylist Narae Park and hair salon JUNO HAIR will aid the boys in their transformation into certified K-pop heartthrobs.

It’s official: Eraserheads: Combo On The Run will hit theaters nationwide for one weekend only, from March 21-23, 2025.
The highly anticipated film delves deep into the heart and soul of a band that defined a generation. It exclusively shares the untold story of their painful breakup and the difficult but necessary challenges they had to face to get back on stage for their historic reunion in 2022, at a time when the country was grappling with political division and uncertainties.
Eraserheads: Combo On The Run offers an insightful exploration of how a group of once-disbanded punks came together and provided reprieve to an entire nation while, perhaps unknowingly, embarking on a journey of healing themselves.
Producer and filmmaker Maria Diane Ventura, who spearheaded the cinematic project believes that the film is much more than a portrayal of a band’s breakup and the proverbial clash of egos. It’s an important piece of work that captures the band’s unflinching honesty and untold story behind the curtains, giving viewers an incredible sense of why they mattered and still do up to this day. “This is a comprehensive deconstruction of the band’s mythology, humanity, complex relationship and the lasting mark they left on Filipino culture—one that transcends generations and differences,” Ventura shares.
Ventura, known for her acclaimed and award-winning body of work in film and music, highlights the vulnerability of the band members throughout the process. “Notorious for their guarded aloofness, I’m incredibly lucky and grateful to have witnessed these men allowing themselves to open up in ways people have never seen them,” she recalls. “Their candidness and forthright honesty were a gift. It wasn’t just cathartic for them; it was transformative for me as a filmmaker and audience member. It gave me permission to reflect on my own truths, and I hope it does the same for others.”
The journey to complete Eraserheads: Combo On The Run was far from easy. Ventura admits the process was grueling, both physically and emotionally. “Each interview revealed new layers and complexities, which found us constantly reframing to deepen the narrative. Documentaries are a different animal, and I have tremendous respect for documentary filmmakers. It’s such a wild and unpredictable ride because it could go a million different ways. We’ve had over 30 reshoots over two years and 58 versions with the help of 4 editors. I’ve been so lucky to have had guidance from great friends, filmmakers and the band. If it weren’t for Ely Buendia, Francis Lumen, and the support and help of so many like Warner, WEU, Voyage Studios, and Offshore, I don’t think I could have finished this. This would probably be my first and last documentary. An exception only for the Eraserheads, who I owe my career trajectory to and who, objectively, I think is the greatest Philippine artist, with Ely as the best songwriter of all time. This was my way of thanking them by upholding their legacy.”

Maria Diane Ventura is a Filipino-American producer, writer, and director known for her thought-provoking films that garnered critical acclaim in the international festival circuitry. Her mind-bending TheRapist earned a spot in several ‘best short films’ of Asia lists, and 2014’s Awaken, an exploration of dream states and altered consciousness, won her the Best Director award at the International Film Festival Manhattan. Her most recent project, the German film Deine Farbe (Your Color), bagged more than 22 awards from film festivals across Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America and is now on Amazon Prime.

ROSÉ and Bruno Mars fans in Bonifacio High Street were delighted last December 21, 2024 when local musicians from Banda San Jose surprised them with an incredible pop-up performance.
Those who witnessed this musical feat got to hear the record-breaking collaboration between Bruno Mars and Blackpink’s ROSÉ: “APT.”, as well as two songs from the latter’s newest solo album “rosie” – “number one girl” and “toxic till the end.”
To give the crowd something to move and groove to, the band also performed some of Bruno Mars’ greatest hits like “Uptown Funk,” “Just the Way You Are,” and “Locked Out of Heaven.”
The APT. Formula: two global powerhouses create an irresistible hit
This lively marching band performance comes months after the release of the hit single APT., which has garnered critical acclaim throughout the world.
To date, this collaboration by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars has achieved the feat of being the biggest debut for a male-female duet on YouTube. APT. also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 charts, and retained this spot for five weeks.
As individual artists, ROSÉ and Bruno Mars have also been breaking records of their own. The former has set the record for the highest monthly listeners on Spotify by a K-Pop artist, which isn’t surprising given the success of her debut album. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars has amassed over 120 million monthly listeners on Spotify, making him the number one artist in the world.
It’s clear that both these musical icons continue to go beyond their already-impressive portfolio, and have cracked the code for producing hit after hit. Wild Dream Records is a music label founded by Marion Aunor and Viva Records’ boss Vic del Rosario focusing on bringing fresh and unique sounds to the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) scene. “Create a label by dreamers for dreamers”, the label aims to cater to dreamers in the music industry, providing a platform for innovative and diverse Filipino musical talents.
They’ve recently introduced four OPM solo artists and two bands with distinctive identities and sounds, promising to infuse new energy into the OPM landscape.
Ashley Aunor and Marion Aunor of Wild Dream Records
Marion’s sister, Ashley Aunor, serves as the A&R for Wild Dream Records. She shared that TikTok has become a powerhouse for discovering emerging talents in various genres of music. This way they’re able to scout their rosters to be part of Wild Dream Records, where they are allowed to grow and showcase their skills to a wide audience.
Wild Dream Records seems to be carving out a niche within the Philippine music industry, focusing on originality and the cultivation of new talent.
He started posting short song covers on TikTok in early 2021 and has steadily gained views and followers. He formed “Seconds to Think” with friend artist-songwriter-producer Emdee Sanchez who’s also part of Wild Dream Records but decided to pursue independent careers. Matt signed with Wild Dream Records in July 2022 and released “Alitaptap” in January 2023 as his luck continued, the song gained over 3 million streams on Spotify as of this writing.
“I was one of the first signed artists of Wild Dream Records. It’s such a really dream come true for me, kasi noon hindi ko inaasahan na magkakaroon pala ako ng kanta sa Spotify”, he shared.
“I chose to become a wild dreamer kasi nangangarap lang ako dati. Naalala ko na discover ko kasi yung The 1975, and sabi ko sa sarili I think want to be like them. Being a wild dreamer gives you an inspiration and gives you hope”, this is why Emdee Sanchez better known as Minimal Days joined Wild Dream Records.
Minimal Days is proof that less is more. Recently. his hit single “‘Gunita Na” surely landed on the soundtrack of many as the song cements a nostalgic feeling that everybody can relate to.
Rapper Prince Angelo Alalay, better known by his stage name Pecado, is the first rap signed artist under the label. Pecado freely admits that he was first uninterested in practicing rapping until the inspirations came in from the artists like Gloc-9, During his sophomore year of high school, when artists such as Gloc-9, Eminem, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. This served as motivation for Pecado to write and compose his own songs.
Marion Aunor added that “gustong gusto namin ang mga lyrics ni Pecado; it really reflects the experiences that he’s been through; he is authentic; that’s why we signed him.”
Bianca Denise is a singer-songwriter that specializes in indie pop music and is always interested in exploring new boundaries in the realm of music. In comparison to other artists in the area, she stands out due to her eagerness to try new things and to venture outside of her boundaries. Bianca has worked with a variety of brands, which has helped her improve both her creative abilities and her marketing abilities. She is a TikTok content creator who has more than 157,000 followers. Bianca is the most recent artist to make their debut under the Wild Dream Records label. ‘Ihahatid‘ was her first single, and it was released on October 18th, 2024.

Groovy Basslines Infectious hooks and a splash of retro charm as they showcase their talents for their pre-debut. Midnight Talking knows how to get a crowd moving.The band’s energetic blend of funk and pop is certainly to watch out for, proving that a spatter disco and the new wave so OPM makes the scene more appealing to the music lovers.
Dreams Realized, Beats Amplified Wild Dream Records isn’t just a label, it’s a family of artsts bound by a shared vision to make music that resonates, challenges, and inspires. Under Marion Aunor’s fearless leadership, the label has become a creative playground for boundary-pushing artistry. The concert offers a chance to give back to the fans whose unwavering support has been a constant source of strength.
The title TANAW (translated as “to gaze” or “to look out”) speaks to the reflective nature of the event—whether looking back in admiration or gazing forward with anticipation. For these singer-songwriters, this reunion is an opportunity to perform together again and share new and meaningful musical expressions, embodying their individual journeys and their collective sisterhood.
The show marks the third time these six solo artists will share the stage, after their unforgettable first reunion concert and its thanksgiving follow-up. From their days as frontwomen of some of the most influential OPM bands of the late ’90s and early 2000s to their successful solo careers, these women have become true queens of the alt-rock landscape. With sold-out tours, chart-topping albums, and a loyal fan base, their influence continues to resonate across generations.
