Today’s fuzzed-out rock song, “Where’s My Phone?,” hints at the range of sounds and energy across the album: “Where did it go // Where’s my phone // Where’s my phone // Where did I leave // Where’d I go // Where’d I go,” she sings. “Where’s My Phone?” arrives alongside an unhinged, emotionally kaleidoscopic video directed by Noel Paul. Based on Shirley Jackson’s novel, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, and using a playful, primitive style of filmmaking, it presents Mitski playing a paranoid woman who is trying to protect her sister inside a gothic house while battling increasingly absurd, human obstacles. Creating a complex psychological palette, the intruders – whether menacing or friendly – cascade one upon the other building into total pandemonium.
Mitski wrote all of the songs and performed all of the vocals on Nothing’s About to Happen to Me. Produced and engineered by Patrick Hyland and mastered by Bob Weston, the album continues the musical through line established with 2023’s The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, and features live instrumentation by The Land touring band and ensemble arrangements. The orchestra was recorded at Sunset Sound and TTG Studios, arranged and conducted by Drew Erickson, engineered by Michael Harris.
Mitski is “the most alluring and enigmatic musician in indie rock” (Rolling Stone) who “keeps shifting in all these really brilliant and wonderful ways” (NPR Music). Throughout her career, she’s released seven albums, four of which are certified gold. Her song, “My Love Mine All Mine,” was a global sensation, and is four-times platinum. Mitski’s varied collaborations with other artists include two co-writes on the most recent Florence and the Machine album, Everybody Scream, and with David Byrne and Son Lux for the Oscar nominated“This Is A Life.” She is currently writing the music and lyrics for the musical adaptation of The Queen’s Gambit.
“A mesmerizing study in movement” (Variety), Mitski’s live show has also been described as “highly stylized, brilliantly realized, super cool” (Philadelphia Inquirer) and “unusual, enigmatic and utterly compelling” (The Guardian). Her first concert film, Mitski: The Land, was played in over 600 cinemas across 30 countries in October 2025, cementing her as “the rare indie star who has earned the big-screen treatment” (Uproxx). CenterPlay at City of Dreams Manila brings romance in the air with the charm of the nostalgic 80’s as it turns the spotlight for the second time to popular matinee idol and balladeer Raymond Lauchengco on January 21 at 9:30 pm.
The OPM (Original Pilipino Music) icon is the opening salvo to CenterPlay’s Concert Series this year, a monthly entertainment show focused on celebrating Pilipino music. His highly anticipated return follows a successful CenterPlay concert in 2024.
Music fans will certainly relive the 80’s and swoon over Lauchengco’s hit songs “So It’s You” and “Farewell” from the original soundtrack of the 80’s coming-of-age film “Bagets” which he also starred in and propelled him among the heartthrobs of that decade. The other favorites among his repertoire are “I Need You Back”, “Saan Darating ang Umaga”, “Shadow of Time”, and “Nothing’s Gonna Change my Love for You”.
Following the successful film release in 1984 of Bagets, he was the Philippine representative to the prestigious Tokyo Music Festival in 1987. He has performed in over 30 countries as a concert and recording artist through the decades, along with directing numerous international live events. A recipient of the 2007 Aliw Award for Best Concert Collaboration for the concert series, The Best of Us, with Ayen Laurel, Lauchengco has also acted in various theatrical productions, television shows and films. A multi-faceted artist, he recently ventured into writing, painting, and sculpture.
Raymond Lauchengco Live at CenterPlay will be followed by “Soul Siren” Nina on February 16 and Gabby Concepcion on March 18. Wolf Gemora, the award winning drummer of Wolfgang is arriving this Friday, January 9 from the United States to begin rehearsals for the highly-anticipated Wolfgang Reunion Concert on February 7 at the New Frontier Theater.
The concert is part of the band’s 30th Anniversary celebrations.
Gemora migrated to the United States following the release and initial promotions of Wolfgang’s fifth studio album, Black Mantra in 2002, and the reunion concert will mark his first performance with the band in 23 years.
“I’m going back to Manila,” enthused Gemora on the eve of his flight homeward. “It’s going to be four weeks of intense rehearsals for the reunion show. In the meantime, I’m going to watch my favorite local bands and eat my favorite local food.
His other bandmates likewise could not contain their enthusiasm.
“I have been and always will be proud of what Wolfgang has achieved through the years. Wolf was a part of the band’s genesis so there is a lot of history there,” shared guitarist Manuel Legarda. We are going to be revisiting key portions of that history and I am thoroughly excited to be sharing that stage with Wolf after all these years. If Mon (Legaspi, who passed away in 2022) were still around, I am sure he would feel the same way. I’m also excited for the fans who have been wanting this reunion as well.

Gemora was part of the band’s most productive era from 1995-2001 where they released their self-titled debut album followed by Semenelin, Wurm, Serve in Silence, the live album Acoustica, and then, Black Mantra. Aside from being best-sellers, they were critically-acclaimed and nominated for music awards.
The band continued with Francis Aquino behind the drum kit and released one more album in Villains (2008) and the mini-album Ang Bagong Dugo Sa Lumang Ugat – Unang Kabanata (2012).

Maymay Entrata channels her journey from pain to empowerment in her cathartic and powerful new song titled “Masunog Man.”
The Kapamilya actress-singer shared that the anthem—centered on resilience, strength, and liberation—was inspired by her experience of pain and healing during her mother’s illness and eventual passing.
“Itong ‘Masunog Man’ ay nagrereflect siya sa kung paano ako magmahal. Two years ago, hindi po ako nag-share kung ano yung pinagdaanan ko. Na-diagnose ang nanay ko ng malubhang sakit at pinili ko na hindi ko siya ibahagi sa publiko,” the “Roja” star told the audience present at the “Masunog Man” launch last Wednesday.
“Hindi po maiwasan yung panahon na nasaktan ako pero dahil sa strength na ibinibigay ng Panginoon sa akin pinili kong lumaban. Even po I’m still hurting at yung hurt na yun nagsi-symbolize siya ng parang burn, parang nasusunog ako inside dahil sa sobrang sakit na nararamdaman ko nung panahon na yun, pero masaya naman ako after po nun dahil naintindihan naman ng karamihan yung pinagdaanan ko,” Maymay explained.
She also shared that she wants to dedicate “Masunog Man” to those who are going through a similar ordeal.
“Gusto ko ipamahagi itong kanta dun sa mga lumalaban nang tahimik na sana po hindi nyo pagsisihan lahat ng sakripisyong binigay nyo dahil nagmamahal lang naman kayo, nagmamahal lang naman tayo ng walang hinihiling na kapalit,” she said.

As Bagets The Musical gears up for its run, Newport World Resorts has released the cast performance schedule for shows from January 23 to February 1, giving audiences a heads up on who they will be seeing on stage!
Audiences can catch Andres Muhlach as Adie, Ethan David as Arnel, Milo Cruz as Tonton, Jeff Moses as Topee, and Tomas Rodriguez as Gilbert in performances scheduled on January 23 at 8 PM, January 25 at 3 PM, and January 31 at 3 PM and 8 PM. This lineup brings together five performers whose portrayals highlight the youthful energy and camaraderie at the heart of the story.
Mico Chua takes on the role of Adie alongside KD Estrada as Arnel, Migo Valid as Tonton, Sam Shoaf as Topee, and Noel Comia Jr. as Gilbert in performances set for January 24 at 3 PM and 8 PM, January 30 at 8 PM, and February 1 at 3 PM. These show dates offer audiences another chance to experience the beloved barkada through a different ensemble of performers.
The production’s gala night performance on January 29 at 8 PM features Muhlach, Estrada, Cruz, Moses, and Rodriguez onstage.
The actors listed are scheduled to appear on the indicated dates. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, their alternates may perform the role without prior notice.

“I Just Might” also arrives on the heels of yesterday’s announcement of The Romantic Tour, which marks Bruno’s first full headline tour in nearly a decade following the massively successful 24K Magic World Tour, which first launched in 2017. Produced by Live Nation, the 2026 tour will be the first full headlining stadium tour by the GRAMMY® Award-winning performer. The tour will span nearly 40 shows across North America, Europe, and the UK, marking one of the biggest global outings of the year.
The tour launches on Friday, April 10, in Las Vegas, NV, at Allegiant Stadium and will see Mars bring his larger-than-life energy to major cities including Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, Denver, Miami, and more. Along the way, he’ll headline some of the world’s most iconic venues, with back-to-back shows at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Wembley Stadium in London, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

This new tour builds on an incredible few years of global performances for Mars, including his acclaimed Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM and an extensive and record-breaking international touring run throughout Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.
