One of the well known celebrities in the South Korean film and music industry, Seo Kang Joon will be the perfect Oppa to capped off every Pinoy’s perfect summer. Seo Kang Joon , born as Lee Seung Hwan, is a member of the group 5urprise, formed by Fantagio Entertainment in 2013.

Before debuting as an idol, Kang Joon first appeared in the TV Series “To the Beautiful You (2012)”, along with FX’s Sulli, Shinee’s Minhoo and Lee Hyun Woo. He continued to appear in minor roles until landing his first major role as a supporting actor in “The Suspicious Housekeeper(2013)”. His career progresses after landing a major role with the TV Series “Cunning Single Lady(2013)”, for which he won the Best New Actor for the 7th Korea Drama Awards.

Seo Kang Joon also appeared in other popular films and TV Series such as What Happens to my Family (2013), My Love My Bride (2014) Splendid Politics (2015), To Be Continued (2015) and Summer Snow (2015). He won the the “Hot Star Award” for Splendid Politics at the 8th Korea Drama Awards.

In 2016, he finally got a major role with the TV Series ” Cheese in the Trap” where he portrayed the character of Baek in Ho, a handsome and talented pianist. His portrayal on the series also earned him fame and an award from the 1st Asia Artists Awards with Best Entertainer Award.

Also on that same year, he starred at the Korean adaptation of the hit American black comedy series “Entourage”.

Aside from being an Actor, Seo Kang Joon also appeared in some Korean Variety shows such as Roommate and Law of the Jungle.

In 2018, Seo Kang Joon starred in the drama ” Are You Human” and the “Third Charm”.

For this year, he will appear on the TV Series “Watcher”.
