After breaking our hearts and announcing a hiatus in January 2010, The Killers Battle Born World Tour 2013 will make a stop in Manila. The band was set to perform at MOA Concert Grounds, however, during Day & Age World Tour in January 2010, the Killers announced that the band would be entering an extended hiatus. The long wait is over and with 15 million albums sold worldwide, THE KILLERS are ready to rock Pinoy fans!
Consisting of Brandon Flowers (lead vocals, keyboards), Dave Keuning (guitar, backing vocals), Mark Stoermer (bass, backing vocals) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (drums, percussion), the band has been a key player in the post-punk revival movement, drawing their influences from music styles of the 1980s.
This September, we can finally witness THE KILLERS as they rock Manila as part of their Battle Born World Tour with hits such as ‘Runaways’, ‘Mr. Brightside’, ‘Human’, ‘Somebody Told Me’, ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’ and ‘When You Were Young’. Battle Born, the band’s latest album, was dubbed the No. 2 album of 2012 by Rolling Stone readers, with the album’s single “Miss Atomic Bomb” voted “Best Song of 2012” in the magazines accompanying poll.
