At The Secret Library, the Korean actor reunited with Filipino fans for an evening of music, games, and heartfelt exchanges, adding another memorable chapter to their shared story.

On October 10, the Mall of Asia Arena became a gathering place for Byeon Woo Seok and his Filipino fans, affectionately known as Woo Che Tong or TongTong-ie. Through music, playful activities, and personal messages, The Secret Library brought the actor and his supporters together for a night centered on the memories they had made and the stories still waiting to be written.

The evening opened with Woo Seok performing Daybreak’s “Flower Road,” followed by a warm greeting to the Manila crowd.

“Every time I am here, I want to say thank you so much for your warm welcome,” he said.

Reflecting on his fan meeting tour, Woo Seok admitted that he could hardly believe how many fans he had met along the way. He described his summer with them as an amazing experience and introduced The Secret Library as a special place containing all the stories they had built together.

During the first segment, “The Librarian’s Secret Records,” fans learned a few details about the actor. Asked what small thing had changed about him recently, Woo Seok answered that nothing had changed and that he was happier than ever. He also revealed that 🥹 was the emoji he used most frequently. His social media algorithm, he shared, was filled with videos and photographs of himself because he regularly monitored content from his fan meetings.

When asked what it meant to be “like Wooseok,” he described it as being happy, while fans supplied their own answer, “pogi,” the Filipino word for handsome. Woo Seok also shared how he hoped to be remembered, saying he wanted to be someone who made people happy.

He delighted the audience with Filipino phrases, including “tayo na,” “yohoo, dito ang tingin,” “kaya ko ’to,” “salamat po,” “cute kayo,” “mahal kita,” and “maganda.” Three lucky fans also joined him in reenacting scenes from his dramas. Woo Seok admitted that he felt shy during the activity but praised the fans for their performances, saying it would be fun to do the scenes together.

Music remained a highlight of the program. He performed “Sudden Shower” from Lovely Runner, followed by “No Fate,” another song from the drama. Before singing the latter, he shared that the song always reminded him of the first time he met his fans and made him appreciate their support. He later went down from the stage and around the floor area to greet fans.

The second segment, “Secret Chapter,” brought a series of games and challenges. During a filmography quiz, Woo Seok adorably asked for more chances to answer a question involving Bus Number 34. He also took on a heart-pounding challenge featuring TXT’s dance choreography, performing for every side of the stage.

The activities continued with Tumbang Preso, where his playful attempts to bend the rules amused the audience. In “The Librarian’s Recipe,” he prepared eggs for three lucky fans, trying his best to make the perfect gyeran mari, or Korean rolled omelet.

One of the evening’s most touching moments came when the fans presented Woo Seok with a special project featuring messages of appreciation. Among them was the line, “Byeon Woo Seok, you’re the story we’ll always be proud to tell.” In Filipino, the message read, “Byeon Woo Seok, ikaw ang kwentong palagi naming ipagmamalaki.”

The fans then sang “Sudden Shower” to him, offering their own rendition of the song associated with Lovely Runner. The performance preceded Woo Seok’s message to his supporters, in which he acknowledged the role their love had played in his journey.

“All just because of TongTong-ie’s unconditional love. We were able to come this far,” he said.

He promised to continue doing his best so that fans could find comfort in seeing him, especially when they felt tired or lonely.

“I hope you find comfort in seeing me, that you may see me clearly even from far,” he added.

Woo Seok also spoke about overcoming challenges and continuing to work hard. He thanked his fans and expressed his love for them, before returning to the evening’s library theme.

“The precious memories that we wrote together today. I will tuck it into another page of this book. So whenever I would like to open it again, I can revisit my heart and open this page,” he said.

“Let us meet again on the next page!”

The final segment, “Destiny’s Bookmark,” featured “Fate Line” from Perfect Crown. In his closing remarks, Woo Seok thanked everyone for spending the evening with him and said he hoped to find ways to repay their love. He promised to continue working hard, deliver good performances, and give his best in his upcoming projects.

“Let’s meet again! Mahal ko kayo!” he said.

Throughout the fan meeting, the library served as a fitting metaphor for the relationship between Woo Seok and his fans. The songs recalled familiar stories, the games created new memories, and the fan project gave supporters an opportunity to express what the actor meant to them.

For Filipino TongTong-ie, the evening added another chapter to a journey that continues through Woo Seok’s performances and the affection surrounding his work. For the actor, it became another collection of memories to revisit, as he promised to return with new projects and more stories to share.

A fan meeting may last only a few hours, but its memories can remain long after the final song. At The Secret Library, Woo Seok and his fans added another page to their shared story, with the hope of meeting again when the next chapter begins.
