Global singer-songwriter Louis Tomlinson is set to make his long-awaited return to the Philippines with the Manila stop of his How Did We Get Here? World Tour 2026 on October 17, 2026, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The concert marks Tomlinson’s biggest solo tour to date, giving Filipino fans the opportunity to experience the next chapter of the former One Direction member’s acclaimed career live on stage.

Following his global success with One Direction, Tomlinson has established himself as one of contemporary pop music’s most compelling singer-songwriters. Earlier this year, he released his latest studio album, How Did I Get Here?, through BMG—his most personal and self-assured body of work yet.

Described by Tomlinson as “the record I always deserved to make,” the album reflects his artistic evolution through introspective songwriting, heartfelt storytelling, and a confident indie-pop sound. The release debuted at No. 1 in the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain, while reaching the Top 5 in Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Switzerland.

Its lead single, “Lemonade,” earned widespread airplay from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, and Capital UK. Tomlinson also performed the track during BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, where he delivered a cover of Hozier’s “Too Sweet.” The succeeding singles “Palaces,” “Imposter,” and his latest release, “Sunflowers,” have further showcased his evolving artistry, receiving praise from both critics and listeners.

The album campaign has also been accompanied by high-profile media appearances, including cover features for Billboard and Rolling Stone UK, a guest performance and interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, an in-depth conversation with Zane Lowe, and an appearance on Steven Bartlett’s The Diary of a CEO, whose episode became the second most-streamed podcast episode of 2025.

Prior to this era, Tomlinson’s sophomore album, Faith In The Future, topped the charts in the United Kingdom, Spain, Argentina, and Belgium. Its accompanying world tour sold out arena dates across 34 countries and stadium shows in five countries, further cementing his reputation as a global live performer.

Among his career milestones, Tomlinson became the first male solo artist to headline Mexico City’s iconic Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez Formula 1 circuit. His recently concluded sold-out arena tour across Europe and the United Kingdom once again demonstrated his enduring connection with audiences around the world.

In Manila, concertgoers can expect a career-spanning setlist featuring tracks from How Did I Get Here?, alongside fan favorites from Walls, Faith In The Future, and other highlights from his solo discography.
