Japanese rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES is set to make its highly anticipated Manila debut on September 5, 2026, bringing the high-energy sound of some of anime’s most recognizable rock anthems to The Crossroads Center in Quezon City.

For Filipino anime and J-rock fans, BURNOUT SYNDROMES needs little introduction. The band has built an international following through its work on some of Japan’s most popular anime series, including the Haikyu!! themes “FLY HIGH!,” “Hikariare,” and “PHOENIX”; “Good Morning World!” and “ROCKET” from Dr. STONE; and “Hanaichimonme” from Gintama.
Their music has become closely associated with some of anime’s most memorable moments, helping establish BURNOUT SYNDROMES as one of the notable names in the crossover between Japanese rock and anime music.
The Manila debut arrives at an especially timely moment for the band, following the release of 《ハイキュー!!×BOS – 主題歌たちの宴 -》 (Haikyu!! × BOS – Shudaika-tachi no Utage –) on August 19. The new album is a special collection of BURNOUT SYNDROMES’ covers of iconic theme songs from the Haikyu!! anime series, further highlighting the connection between the band and the franchise that helped introduce their music to audiences around the world.
Adding to the evening’s lineup is Japanese duo fuyu, composed of Yukan and Fumiya. Fumiya, who is also known for his stint as a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother, has established a presence in the Philippine entertainment scene alongside Yukan. The duo will open the show, setting the stage for BURNOUT SYNDROMES’ first performance in Manila.
With the concert just days away, tickets remain available, including packages offering fans opportunities to get up close with the band through exclusive fan benefits. A limited photo opportunity and hi-touch session are among the experiences available to concertgoers.
