HYBE x Geffen Unveils New Global Girl Group SAINT SATINE Through WORLD SCOUT: THE FINAL PIECE

The next global girl group from HYBE and Geffen Records has officially been revealed. During the finale broadcast of WORLD SCOUT: THE FINAL PIECE on Japan’s streaming platform ABEMA, the four-member group was introduced under the name SAINT SATINE.

The newly formed group consists of Emily (20, USA), Lexie (21, Sweden), Samara (20, Brazil), and the newest addition, Sakura (16, Japan). Emily, Lexie, and Samara first gained international attention through the Netflix docuseries Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, where they quickly built a dedicated global fanbase.

The group’s final member was selected through WORLD SCOUT: THE FINAL PIECE, a large-scale audition project produced in partnership with ABEMA. Sakura emerged victorious among more than 14,000 applicants, officially completing SAINT SATINE’s lineup during the series finale that aired earlier today.

Alongside the finale, HYBE x Geffen Records also released the digital single album World Scout: The Final Piece – Finale. The two-track release captures the climactic performances from the competition’s final round, spotlighting finalists Sakura and runner-up Ayana as they performed alongside Emily, Lexie, and Samara.

Leading the release is “PARTY b4 the PARTY,” performed by Sakura with the rest of SAINT SATINE. The high-energy urban pop track combines playful percussion, heavy bass transitions, and dynamic harmonies, delivering an anthem centered on the excitement leading up to a night out. The second track, “WE RIDE,” features runner-up Ayana alongside the group members in a nostalgic yet modern R&B-inspired sound built around smooth harmonies and sleek production.

A performance video for “PARTY b4 the PARTY” was also unveiled following the finale broadcast, giving fans a first official look at SAINT SATINE as a complete group.

According to HYBE x Geffen, the name “SAINT SATINE” reflects the group’s duality and artistic identity. “SAINT” symbolizes exceptional musicality and charisma, while “SATINE” represents elegance, softness, and sophistication. The group is described as existing “at the intersection of desire and transcendence,” balancing refinement and boldness in both music and image.

WORLD SCOUT: THE FINAL PIECE continues the successful collaboration between HYBE America and Geffen Records, following the global success of KATSEYE. The partnership launched a worldwide audition campaign in 2021 to create a multicultural pop group that could transcend cultural and artistic boundaries. More than 120,000 applicants auditioned for the original project, which later became the foundation for Dream Academy and the Netflix series Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.

Since debuting, KATSEYE has earned two GRAMMY nominations and three American Music Awards nominations. Their second EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, while their third EP, WILD, is scheduled for release on August 14.

With its final lineup now complete, SAINT SATINE is set to begin its journey as HYBE x Geffen’s newest global pop act, carrying the momentum of one of the industry’s most ambitious international talent projects.

  • Lewis Capaldi Makes A Bold & Courageous Return with New Single “Survive!”

Lewis Capaldi Makes A Bold & Courageous Return with New Single “Survive!”

Mega Hit ‘Someone You Loved’ Becomes 10x Platinum, The UK’s Most Streamed Song of All Time & The World’s Fourth Highest Ever Streamed Song!

After two years away from the spotlight, global superstar Lewis Capaldi today makes his extremely welcome return with new single ‘Survive’ – a bold, brave new anthem that underscores a challenging period in his career, that ended at Glastonbury 2023 in an extremely tough, but special unifying moment as the Pyramid Stage crowd helped carry an emotional Capaldi over the finish line.

“Most nights I fear that I’m not enough, I’ve had my share of Monday mornings when I can’t get up” sings Capaldi in a huge, hair-raising and brutally honest track that addresses mental health challenges of self-doubt & despair, but comes out swinging in a chorus full of defiance – “I swear to God I’ll survive, if it kills me to, I’m gonna’ get up and try, if it’s the last thing I’ll do”

Listen to ‘Survive’ HERE & watch the official video, directed by Henry Dockrill ((Sam Fender, Post Malone) HERE.

‘Survive’ also sees Lewis re-united with close collaborator Romans, who co-wrote his global megahit ‘Someone You Loved’, that extraordinarily turned 10x Platinum earlier this year.

The new track arrives off the back of a run of Scottish warm up shows in May that saw Lewis return to the stage as a guest of mental health charity CALM, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week. With no pressure, and no level of expectation, the shows allowed Capaldi the space to gauge his comfort and emotional response before returning to the spotlight – a move which ended up proving nothing short of a triumph.

Lewis’ last release, the hit-stacked record Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, scored him his second UK number 1 album, creating another three heartbreaking UK number 1 singles, ‘Pointless’‘Wish You The Best and the Platinum-certified ‘Forget Me’, working with hitmakers including Max Martin (Taylor Swift, The Weeknd), Malay (Lorde, Frank Ocean), and longtime collaborator Phil Plested (James Bay, Bastille).

The album also gained widespread critical acclaim from the likes of The GuardianNew York Times, NMERolling Stone, GQ, Stereogum & many more. It also topped airplay charts, smashing an impressive 95,000 units, outselling the rest of that week’s Top 10 combined, as well as outselling first week sales of his own monumental debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

April 2023 saw the global Netflix release of Lewis’ compelling, raw and honest feature-length, GRAMMY®-nominated music documentary ‘Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now’ – available to watch on the platform now. The documentary shot straight to the top of the Netflix chart, making it the most watched film on the platform since its release.

Lewis’ subsequent success stems back to 2019’s multimillion selling debut Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which propelled Capaldi from bedroom musician to superstar. Few had seen a debut release quite like it, becoming the biggest selling UK album of both 2019 & 2020, spawning two UK number 1 singles, bagging a few BRITs and a GRAMMY® nomination, with one of those number 1’s becoming a smash hit on both sides of the globe in ‘Someone You Loved’, which as well as recently going 10x Platinum, is also the UK’s most streamed song of all time the world’s fourth highest ever streamed song.

After weathering the kind of storm that few can prepare for, Lewis Capaldi returns with a renewed sense of purpose. ‘Survive’ proves that even in the darkest moments, there’s still strength in showing up. As he marks a new era, Lewis isn’t just surviving, he’s returning even stronger, heart wide open, and ready to step out again.
