The Sing 2 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack releases Friday December 17, 2021. It accompanies the eagerly awaited new chapter in Illumination’s blockbuster animated franchise, Sing 2, which opens in US theaters on December 22, 2021.
“Your Song Saved My Life” marks the first new music from U2 since 2019. Bono, lead singer of U2, makes his animated film debut in Sing 2 as the voice of Clay Calloway. The band are very familiar with creating original songs for film, having received two Academy Award nominations for Best Original Song among their many honors over the years.

‘When She Comes Around’ is the first track to be revealed from No Rome’s highly anticipated debut album ‘It’s All Smiles’, set for release on 3rd December by Dirty Hit.
Recorded in a small apartment in No Rome’s hometown of Manila after the pandemic prevented him returning to London, the album was co-produced by Rome with BJ Burton (Kanye West, Bon Iver, Charli XCX) and George Daniel (The 1975).
In every sense of the phrase, ‘It’s All Smiles’ finds No Rome returning to his roots, both in terms of location and influences. As is immediately obvious from ‘When She Comes Around’, the record is the most refined expression of Rome’s self-coined term ‘Shoegaze R&B’. Vocal lines are indebted to the intense emotions expressed in R&B and run beautifully across highly textured production and instrumentation. Like Kevin Shields, the architect of My Bloody Valentine, No Rome paints with his production, taking straight-forward guitar playing and complicating it with the tools at his disposal.
‘When She Comes Around’ arrives with a dark, atmospheric video, filmed in Mania and directed by Paco Raterta that provides the perfect visual accompaniment to the track. Speaking about the single, Rome says; “I made this song after watching the Bjork live version of her album Vespertine and I wanted to make a song that was heavy on the strings but after days on working on it I eventually brought it to a more guitar driven song. I sent this song to BJ and he came back with something much more than I expected, with more textures and stronger bass sounds and just better structure really and we just went crazy on it.”

Born in Pampanga, Philippines and raised in Subic Bay, daze is a singer-songwriter who is heavily influenced by the sounds of her youth. This included old school RNB tracks that her cousins would play on the way to school, and 80s rock / love songs from her parents. As a teenager, the music she listened to started to take a new shape as she discovered alternative and indie artists, such as Imogen Heap and Bon Iver. All these influences helped her in shaping her own artistry and sound, one that is nostalgic yet fresh at the same time.
Growing up, she was moved by the power of words and music, and slowly developed a passion for it. Obsessed with novels and stories, she started writing her own poetry at 13 years old. Her love for words and music transported her to the world of song-writing and recording. daze wrote her first song with her college friends in her apartment in Manila, where they would sit and sing on YouTube beats over pizza and beer. After a few years of writing and recording-, she released her first song on Soundcloud, “Waterfall”.

To accompany ‘Spinning’, No Rome has collaborated with Japanese artist Hideyuki Tanaka and designer Samuel Burgess – Johnson to create a visual world around the release, complete with animated characters for each artist and a psychedelic universe for them to inhabit.
Additionally, No Rome, Charli XCX and The 1975 have teamed up with NFT platform Foundation to auction original artworks designed by Hideyuki Tanaka & Samuel Burgess-Johnson and raise money for 3 different charities of the artists choosing. Rome will donate a portion of profits to Right Start, Charli to Girls Make Beats and Matty to One Tree Planted. With the release of ‘Spinning’, the flood of support No Rome has seen over the last 12 months from BBC Radio 1, Apple Music 1, Vogue, The Face, High Snobiety, NME, The Guardian, DIY, Complex, Hypebeast, The Fader and Paper Mag to name a few, is only set to continue. Bonafide pop star Ylona Garcia has come a long way since deciding on pursuing what has now been a flourishing career in mainstream music.

Both the song and the music video show a side of Ylona that fans have never seen from her reality show stint as well as her past releases and occasional acting credits. As the first-ever artist signed by PARADISE RISING, celebrated Filipino-American hip-hop sensation Guapdad 4000 has announced the upcoming launch of his new album, 1176 for the emerging new label.
The follow up to his 2019 debut full-length Dior Deposits which no less than the New York Times hailed as one of the best albums of the year, 1176 chronicles the life and career to date of the Oakland-based rapper, from his Filipino upbringing, humble beginnings and eventual stardom. Executive produced by fellow Fil-Am !LLMIND, the album hones in on Guap telling his own story, with the help of some of his close friends Buddy, P-Lo and Tish Hyman.
1176 features the recently released carrier single and music video, “How Many,” which samples the legendary Alice DJ track “Better off Alone.” Directed by Chris Simmons, the video is the perfect introduction to this new era of Guap’s artistry, exploring pieces of his mind as he finds himself trapped inside a liquor bottle, trying his luck with falconry, and bringing his tattoos to life.
!LLMIND who has worked with A-list artists like Kanye West, Ariana Grande, Drake and Ludacris, among many others consider Guapdad as “literally one of the most talented artists” he has ever come across.
“I know that sounds generic but there really is no better way to describe [Guapdad]. I also wish I was as good looking as him but at least I’m taller than him. Seriously though, I had such a blast working with him on this project and even though we’re from opposite coasts, we are similar in so many ways. He brought the best out of me on this project and made my job easy. The music is crazy!” the acclaimed record producer further enthused.
Named “the secret weapon of the [Revenge of the Dreamers III] sessions” by Complex, Guapdad 4000 has been one to watch since the start. With a Grammy nomination, a slew of viral singles, and tours with P Lo, Earthgang (Dreamville) and Denzel Curry already under his belt, the Oakland rapper’s talent, creativity and versatility are set to take him straight to becoming one of this year’s brightest stars.
The album comes out March 19th via 88rising’s sister label PARADISE RISING, making Guap and !LLMIND the first artists to release a full-length project through the young label which is dedicated to uplifting artists of Filipino descent.

Joe Vince latest single “Sa’king Tabi” is a song about one trying to confront their partner on whether they still have an agenda with their past relationship. It is a song Joe wrote for people who were left behind and had no clue of what happened. Following his last successful track “Masaya Ka Na Ba” inspired by his break-up with his first relationship and has been covered by a lot of independent musical artists now comes “Sa’king Tabi” which again, has a touching melody with a 90’s R&B vibe and has perfectly demonstrated his modulated and soothing vocals.

Joe Vince started playing music when he was 14 years old back in his hometown Cebu City. He started his career as a lead singer of a worship band for Youth for Christ, a religious youth group that was a big part of his teenage years. He moved to Manila to pursue music production, and while at school he would do events and gigs during his spare time and got to experience busking in BGC.
In 2013, he was invited to take part in Ryan Cayabyan’s Element Song Writing Camp. This was the event that opened many doors for him, including an appearance in the show “This is my story, this is my song” where he got to do an impromptu musical composition with Juris of MYMP.
The same song was also used as a background music for Madam Kilay break up vlog. Joe’s voice has been used as one of the voices for the ABS-CBN show: YOUR FACE SOUNDS FAMILIAR. Another song “If I Could Just” is one of his most popular songs on SoundCloud and got him more followers on social media. Taking centerstage this season is the ongoing nationwide campaign, turning COCA-COLA PHILIPPINES products topped with the ubiquitous yellow cap as this season must-haves in exchange for the chance to win cash prizes, as well as cool COCA-COLA Merchandise.
10 lucky winners will win P50,000 each during the weekly raffle, while one lucky COCA-COLA aficionado will get the chance to take home one million pesos as grand prize for the last episode.
