  • rouri404 Blends Electronic and Pop-Punk on New Single “miss it”

rouri404 Blends Electronic and Pop-Punk on New Single “miss it”

August 11th, 2025 – Rising genre-bending artist rouri404 just released his new single, “miss it” on Red Bull Records. The song marks his first release in over a year, showcasing his evolution both sonically and lyrically. Fans can listen to the song here.

The track is an upbeat and EDM-centric, but also layered in classic rouri404 fashion – rife with raw vocals and a glitchy, synth-heavy production. rouri404’s last project saw him lean more heavily into the darker side of hyperpop, but with “miss it” he’s revealed another facet of his artistry. Refusing to be put in a box, the single draws from trap, dubstep, hyperpop, and pop-punk stylings – all seamlessly brought together by its introspective lyrics.

    rouri404 – “miss it”

On returning with new music, rouri404 reflects: “I’ve always made music from a place of pain, it felt safer to lean into sadness than to risk showing any other side of myself. I’ve always been afraid that if people saw me for me, they’d think I was weird or cringey. “miss it” is different, it’s me throwing those fears out the window”.

Relocating to LA from Orlando this year has had a clear impact on rouri404, as he continues: “After moving across the country, I had a lot of time to reflect, not just on music but on who I am and who I want to become. I grew up surrounded by a lot of negativity, and for years that shaped the way I expressed myself. I had become content with it, and realized that’s not who I want to be. I want to be able to create from a place that reflects better moments in life. I’ve been so focused on the past that I’ve let the good memories slip by without realizing it. I don’t want to miss anymore”.

Last night, rouri404 debuted “miss it” for the first time live in LA and the room was full of palpable energy as he delivered an electric performance to his growing community. Keep an eye out for more from rouri404 in 2025!

    Listen to “miss it” here
    Watch the visualizer here

    About rouri404
Art and the internet are society’s last true equalizers, a refuge for the disadvantaged and dispossessed to take on an alias or avatar, rise above their circumstances and become whoever they want. Indeed, for most of his life, Orlando native Joseph (Joey) Cash thrived in the grids and waveforms of Logic and SoundCloud when more traditional structures failed him – a high school dropout at 16, Joey’s future was clouded by substances and self-doubt. By the beginning of 2021, Joey realized that he could not half-step his way towards transcendence.

Expanding beyond his early incarnation as a hyperpop artist, Joey took on the name rouri404 and finally became himself. Following 2022’s striking ‘GORE’ EP, rouri404 leans even harder into guitar-driven rock and emo, a showcase for his emerging talents as a lyricist, arranger and executive producer.

He’s coherent and concise, inspired by the duality that comes with creating art in online spaces – how does one reconcile the unlimited capacity for self-expression with the unlimited capacity for self-invention? rouri404 sees artists like the prolific Bones and the perfectionist Daft Punk as his two guardian angels; “I’ve found myself struggling between being mysterious with perfect visuals and perfect aesthetics and the other side of, I want to get as much out as fast as possible”. Yet, as rouri404’s skills and stature escalate, the creative process remains true to his origins as a lost soul with a lifeline to his audience, representing for people like himself – the misunderstood teens, the budding lyricists stuck behind the cash register of a dead-end job, the overwhelmed music nerds searching for something permanent in a time where everything feels disposable.

  • GAT IGNITES P-POP SCENE WITH DEBUT SINGLE AND SIGNATURE SCENT

GAT IGNITES P-POP SCENE WITH DEBUT SINGLE AND SIGNATURE SCENT

After basking in global success with their cover of “Daleng Dale,” rising P-Pop group GAT continues to shine in the entertainment industry with two milestones—a debut single and an upcoming fragrance line. Comprised of talented singer-actors Ethan David, Charles Law, Michael Keith, Derick Ong, and Hans Paronda, GAT made names for themselves in the P-Pop world with their renditions of popular songs such
as “Huwag Ka Nang Humirit” by James Reid, “Marikit” by Juan Caoile & Kyleswish, and “Rainbow” by
    South Border.

But, it was their cover of “Daleng Dale” that made them a hit among fans, especially when it became an original soundtrack to the hit Viva One series Ang Mutya ng Section E, which stars Andres Muhlach,
Ashtine Olviga, and Rabin Angeles. Also, four members of the group, namely Ethan, Charles, Michael, and Derick, are all supporting cast members of the show.

With a rendition that spanned viral TikTok dance crazes and millions of streams on Spotify, GAT became poised to become big names in the local music industry. And they continued that momentum last August when they released their debut single “Kakaiba.”

Written by GAT themselves, “Kakaiba” sings about an extraordinary kind of attraction towards someone, capturing the ecstasy of an undeniably intense infatuation. Along with GAT, the song is produced by The Kennel, an international music publishing, production and management company based in Sweden, and singer-songwriter and composer Kylu Garcia.

With a song that embodies a remarkable kind of attraction, GAT marks another milestone with something that reinforces attraction—a signature perfume line under Viva Beauty called GAT Eau De Parfum, a celebration of their journey towards grit, growth, and greatness.

GAT Eau De Parfum’s signature scent was handpicked by the P-Pop group themselves, having a vibrant fusion of spice, woods, and warmth. It mirrors their powerful presence onstage with spicy and earthy notes of cardamom, akigalawood, and turmeric, evokes the depth, emotion, and strength of their performances with rich and grounding notes of frankincense, oak, cedar, white sandalwood, and iris, and leave a lasting impression among fans with a comforting note of vanilla and golden amber.

With a whiff of GAT Eau De Parfum, GAT allows their fans, collectively known as TAGs (Together Always, GAT) to let them feel closer to them, allowing them to carry their energy and personality wherever they go.

“Kakaiba” is now available for streaming on all major music streaming platforms. Meanwhile, GAT’s perfume line will be available very soon. For inquiries and direct orders, you can call or message Viva Beauty at 09178017910.

Gloc-9 and Abaddon Share An Inspiring Message With Their Latest Release”BLGBGN”

Award-winning artist and rap phenom Gloc-9 has just dropped his latest single, “BLGBGN,” featuring fellow rapper Abaddon. This new track continues Gloc-9’s impressive streak of monthly releases throughout the year, as he continues to share new music every month.

“BLGBGN” is an empowering song that encourages listeners to embrace life to the fullest. The track delivers the message that life is a journey filled with mistakes, challenges, and fears, but it’s essential to take chances and make the most of every moment. As the artists express, “Huwag kang matakot na magmahal at masaktan, isang beses lang ang buhay, wala nang balikan,” reminding us that we only live once and there are no do-overs.

In collaboration with Abaddon, Gloc-9 emphasizes the importance of perseverance and the pursuit of dreams. The lyrics inspire listeners to not take life too seriously, to reach for the clouds, and to navigate through the seas of life even without a predetermined destination. “Abutin mo and ulap, languyin mo and dagat, bumiyahe ng walang patutunguhan, simulan mong lumakad, balagbagin mo ang ‘yong istorya,” they declare, encouraging everyone to keep moving forward and to craft their own unique stories.

  • Ed Sheeran Releases New Single “A Little More” Alongside Comedic Official Video Starring Rupert Grint & Nathalie Emmanuel!

Ed Sheeran Releases New Single “A Little More” Alongside Comedic Official Video Starring Rupert Grint & Nathalie Emmanuel!

August 8th, 2025 Ed Sheeran releases his brand-new single, “A Little More”, alongside a music video where Ed brings back Rupert Grint for an all-new instalment. Fans can listen to the song here and watch the music video here.

Witty and sharp in its lyricism, and underpinned with blues elements through its sound, “A Little More” carries with it a message of self-preservation and moral courage. Sheeran wrote the song alongside DAVE (who previously worked with Sheeran on “Nothing On You”, “F64”), Blake Slatkin (Charli XCX, Kid Laroi), Cirkut (The Weeknd, Lil Nas X) and Johnny McDaid (Sheeran’s longtime collaborator) – production comes from Blake Slatkin, and Cirkut.

In the lead-up to the release, fans of both Sheeran and Grint have been piecing together a trail of cryptic social media clues — including posts from Ed’s official accounts that appeared to be taken over by Rupert himself. Longtime listeners may remember Grint’s role in the 2011 “Lego House” video, and now he returns for a surprise cameo in the visual for “A Little More”.

Directed by Emil Nava (Post Malone, Dua Lipa), the comedic music video picks up where “Lego House” left off. Rupert Grint reprises his role as an obsessive Sheeran fan, now released from prison and attempting to live a normal life. Yet, Ed seems to appear everywhere he turns, leaving him increasingly unsettled. Just as things start to look up including meeting his future wife, played by Nathalie Emmanuel, the wedding day brings an unexpected twist. As Grint’s character stands at the altar and scans the crowd, he’s shocked to see a sea of wedding guests appear as Ed Sheeran… only to discover an even greater surprise when he lifts his bride’s veil.

Ed Sheeran – “A Little More” (Official Music Video)

Today’s track is the follow-up to Sheeran’s single “Sapphire”, which he worked on with Arijit Singh. The pair released a special version of the track last month, with Ed singing a chorus in Hindi and Punjabi, and Arijit singing a verse in Hindi and Punjabi and a chorus in English. The result was a blissful cross-cultural fusion of languages and cultures, adorning the song’s celebration of love.

With these standout tracks leading the way, stay tuned for Ed Sheeran’s new album, ‘Play’, releasing on September 12!

    About Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran is set to release his new album ‘Play’ on 12th September 2025. After closing the chapter on his Mathematics series, Ed Sheeran is finally back and stepping boldly into a fresh new phase for 2025. An artist known for constantly evolving, Sheeran’s latest album, ‘Play‘ finds him exploring new musical ground through collaboration with producers and musicians from around the world, as well as diving deeper into the timeless sounds and themes that have made him one of the world’s best-loved pop artists. Inspired in part by his exposure to Indian and Persian musical cultures—and their surprising connections to the Irish folk tradition he grew up with, through shared scales, rhythms, and melodies—he explored this borderless musical language, giving the album its distinctive, fresh edge.
On more familiar ground, Sheeran also reminds us why he remains the most influential singer-songwriter of his generation, delivering a series of stunning ballads and acoustic-driven songs. The result is a collection that plays with both the familiar and the new, creating a bold, pop-driven sound that only Ed Sheeran could deliver — a vibrant showcase of his artistry that feels both exciting and transformative, and promises to be one of the defining albums of the year.
Ed Sheeran is no stranger to Southeast Asia, having included Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines as stops on his 2024 ‘+ – = ÷ x (Mathematics) Tour’. He continues to see strong streaming numbers with the 🇵🇭 Philippines at #3 and 🇮🇩 Indonesia at #7 among his top 10 global streaming markets.

  • XYVRL Sings About One-Sided Relationships in “HOTNCOLD”

XYVRL Sings About One-Sided Relationships in “HOTNCOLD”

XYVRL has officially released her latest single “HOTNCOLD” on June 27, 2025. This marks her second release of the year, following the success of her previous track, “LILAGIRL.”

“HOTNCOLD” is a chill, pop, soul, and RnB track that talks about the struggles of an unfair relationship. The song addresses the feelings of giving your all to a partner who does not reciprocate, and XYVRL’s lyrics convey this sentiment clearly: “You don’t deserve me. Binigay ko sa’yo ang lahat when you were thirsty. I was there for you pero baby wala ka for me. So tell me sino ba ang totoo sa atin?”

The title “HOTNCOLD” effectively captures the conflicting emotions of warmth and closeness with your partner, while still having a cold, distant divide in the relationship. While the song has a laidback and easy-to-listen-to vibe, the lyrics carry a heavier message that encourages listeners to immerse themselves in the deeper meaning behind the music. “Mainit, mainit, mainit, mainit, pag kay katabi. Pero kahit magkadikit ay laging malamig ang ating gabi.”

In a surprise appearance, XYVRL performed “HOTNCOLD” at the “Find Your Kislap” single launch event of fellow Universal Records artist last June 26 at 225 Bar in Quezon City. Fans who witnessed XYVRL’s performance of the song didn’t have to wait too long to hear the official track since since it was released the next day. “HOTNCOLD” is now available on all major streaming platforms, with an interesting lyric video on the YouTube account of Universal Records.

    HOTNCOLD
    XYVRL

    VERSE:
You’ve been ringing up my line
Say you need me but it happens every time
    Kung totoo ang sinasabi mo
    Wanna know kailan ka hihinto
    Aking pinto ay laging nakabukas
Do you even think about all of the love and trust?
‘Di ko nga magawang magsinungaling sa’yo
Sino ba talagang may pakana sa’tin?
Talagang ako nalang ba ang may pake sa’tin?
    Pasakit lang ang bigay sa’kin
Lagi ng ganto ano bang nangyari sa’tin?

    PRE-CHORUS:
Did you even consider the thought of us together?
Hanggang dito nalang ba tayo wala bang forever?
I can’t figure it out cuz lies come out your mouth
Hanggang dito nalang ba talaga tayo?

    CHORUS:
Mainit, mainit, mainit, mainit, pag kay katabi
Pero kahit magkadikit ay laging malamig ang ating gabi

    VERSE:
    You don’t deserve me
Binigay ko sa’yo ang lahat when you were thirsty
I was there for you pero baby wala ka for me
So tell me sino ba ang totoo sa atin?
Cuz you so fake ass babe, don’t wanna say your name
Kunin mo na lahat ng gamit mo, I hate your face
But we both love the game, pag katabi ka babe
We so hot but you so cold to me, I guess that’s it

    PRE-CHORUS:
Did you even consider the thought of us together?
Hanggang dito nalang ba tayo wala bang forever?
I can’t figure it out cuz lies come out your mouth
Hanggang dito nalang ba talaga tayo?

    CHORUS:

  • Ju Ji Hoon’s Manila Magic: A Starlit to Juniverse Odyssey!

Ju Ji Hoon’s Manila Magic: A Starlit to Juniverse Odyssey!

People were excited at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City on the night of August 2, 2025. It was an exciting time in the air as Filipino fans flooded the venue for Ju Ji Hoon’s first-ever fan meetup in Manila. Most of them were holding unique photocards and fan-made banners. This was part of his 2025 Asia tour called “JUNIVERSE.” Dedicated fans dressed in their best K-drama-inspired outfits were ready to meet the man who had stolen their hearts as Crown Prince Lee Shin in Princess Hours almost 20 years ago.

At 6 p.m., the lights went down, and as Ju Ji Hoon walked on stage, the crowd went wild. His towering physique and distinctive charisma took over the room right away. He wore a slick, well-fitted Balmain Love Letter Crystal Piping Wool Grain de Poudre 1-Button Jacket. He opened his fan meet serenading the crowd with “Relieved” by Lee Juck. He smiled warmly as he greeted the throng in English with a hint of his deep, soothing voice: “Hello, Manila!” I’m very glad to finally meet you all! Fans of various ages, including those who had been fans for years and others who had just seen him in Kingdom and The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, yelled with joy, while others took pictures to remember the occasion.

The JUNIVERSE event was more than just a fan meet; it was a look back at Ju Ji Hoon’s career and charm. The night started with a heartfelt video montage that showed clips from his most famous roles, like the stoic but romantic prince in “Princess Hours,” the fierce Crown Prince of Joseon fighting zombies in “Kingdom,” and the intense Dr. Baek Kang Hyuk in “The Trauma Code,” for which he had just won Best Actor at the 2025 Baeksang Arts Awards. Fans screamed the most at the Princess Hours moments, which brought back memories for those who had fallen in love with him as their “first K-drama prince.” On segment 2 Ju Ji Hoon went back to surprise his fans as he walked to them donned in a youthful Versace Coral Theatre Cotton Shirt in white and blue. The price tag? Nearly PHP60,000. He made sure to get close to his fans who waited for him in Manila for almost 20 years while “Perhaps Love,“ the OST that made us fall in love with Goong 19 years ago, was in the background.

Ju Ji Hoon, known for his exceptional fan service, maintained the excitement. He told funny things from behind the scenes, including how he was too afraid to see some of Kingdom’s zombie sequences. He said with a teasing smile, “I’m not as brave as my characters.” The Q&A was the best part, as fans asked about his favorite moments and what it was like to shoot The Trauma Code, which filled the room with cheers.

People loved the participatory parts of the event. Lucky raffle winners all around Asia, Like Thailand, Japan and Indonesia held autographed posters and Polaroids. When Ju Ji Hoon waved to supporters and threw a few finger hearts, the audience erupted in excitement. You could see how much he cared about them. He also amazed everyone by singing his self-confessed favorite song, 참 예뻐요 (Cham Yeppeoyo) by Lee Kyu-hyung. His voice was gentle yet steady, making the event seem private even though the theater was full.

As the night came to an end, Ju Ji Hoon offered a special message that had been filmed earlier and broadcast on the big screen: “Filipino fans, you’ve waited so long, and I’m so grateful for your love.” Let’s build more memories with each other. Fans, some of whom were crying, clapped and yelled his name, not wanting the night to finish. The JUNIVERSE fan meetup was more than simply an event; it was a celebration of Ju Ji Hoon’s rise from a model in 2003 to a worldwide sensation and proof of the strong link between him and his Filipino followers. As the throng streamed out into the Manila night, social media lit up with postings, images, and videos, assuring the JUNIVERSE enchantment would endure long beyond August 2.
