James Reid stepped out to join BINI for a smooth mashup of “Secrets” and his own R&B hit “Di Bale.
Puregold’s OPM Con 2025 went from simply sensational to timeless as the multitudes that trooped to the Philippine Arena on July 5 were treated to surprise guests culled from OPM’s rich roster of exceptional talents. Already super-charged with the energy of today’s biggest artists—BINI, Flow G, G22, KAIA, SB19, Skusta Clee, and SunKissed Lola—OPM Con 2025 went on stealth mode and dropped a gaggle of other OPM biggies on thousands of unsuspecting fans in the vast arena.
James Reid and BINI were referred to online as “a collab to die for.”BINI then performed their song “Shagidi” along with surprise appearances from SB19’s Stell, KAIA’s Charlotte, and G22’s Alfea.Stell of SB19 and Alfea of G22 joined along in BINI’s dance for “Shagidi.”
Still flush from the tremendous success that was OPM Con 2025, Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, Senior Marketing Manager of Puregold, excitedly shared, “Puregold’s common language across its 500 stores nationwide is not just groceries but also music. Hence, we gathered our loyal shoppers and gave them a world-class concert experience featuring our own brand endorsers.”
Mayonnaise came out to perform “Jopay” alongside KAIA.PPop met Pinoy rock when G22 and Mayonnaise shared the stage at the Philippine Arena.Singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino harmonized with the PPop trio of G22.
Piedad further expressed yet another significant purpose behind the concept: “The night was about celebrating who we are as Filipinos—our stories, our music, and our shared pride. Seeing fans come together is one panalo moment we are very proud of.”
The first surprise popped up during BINI’s set, when James Reid stepped out to join the girls for a smooth mashup of “Secrets” and his own R&B hit “Di Bale.” The crowd roared, and just like that, the tone was set: anything could happen.
Yeng Constantino made a surprise appearance to sing her song “Salamat” with G22OPM royalty Rico Blanco joined SB19 on stage during their performance of “Liwanag sa Dilim.”Multiple generations of Pinoy artists stood tall at the Philippine Arena as Rico Blanco joined SB19 on stage.
Hannah Molarca of the Philippine Daily Inquirer described the number as a “a collab to die for.” Twitter user @ciaogiacomoReid echoed the sentiment with a post that read, “pasabog performance indeed!!”
And just when things felt like they’d peaked, Stell (SB19), Charlotte (KAIA), and Alfea (G22) emerged mid-performance to join BINI in a synchronized dance for “Shagidi”—uniting P-Pop’s finest in a single, show-stopping showcase.
Then came the full-circle moment: Mayonnaise, the iconic 2000s rock band, surprised fans by joining KAIA for a live rendition of “Jopay.” The collab felt especially meaningful for KAIA’s Angela, who once went viral for covering the song on TikTok in 2022. Now, she was singing it with the original band—before a frenzied arena crowd.
“Grabe namang pasabog ‘to!” wrote @KittyOfreneo4 on Twitter speaking on Mayonnaise’s appearance. The official SoundCheckManila on Twitter even posted, “Never thought we would see this but we ain’t complaining! When P-Pop meets rock, sparks fly!”
Later on, iconic singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino performed her hit song “Salamat” alongside the magnetic PPop trio of G22. Yeng even posted a backstage video of her and G22 harmonizing together while singing the song. The video had netizens like @rayaaau_ on Twitter begging, “We need a studio ver pls.” Fellow user @bro_bonk also shared how impressive the G22 collab performance was, saying that “ibang klase ang kanilang performance with Yeng Constantino, napapakanta ang audience.”
Rico Blanco then joined along with SB19 for their hit song “Dungka.”The variety of OPM’s styles and history were represented on the stage at Puregold’s OPM Con 2025.
As SB19 performed “Liwanag sa Dilim,” the crowd roared oncemore as OPM royalty Rico Blanco stepped onto the stage. Then came the unexpected twist: Blanco grooved to “Dungka” alongside SB19, G22, and KAIA, with BINI’s Sheena joining the mix. Three of the country’s biggest girl groups united to celebrate this climactic moment. It wasn’t just a performance—it was a grand statement.
G22 surprised fans by joining SB19 on stage during the performance of “Dungka.”BINI’s Sheena dazzled fans by joining forces with SB19 to dance along to the song “Dungka.”The forces of PPop stood side by side in the Philippine Arena for the historic Puregold OPM Con 2025.
Puregold’s OPM Con 2025 was not a celebration of what OPM has been; it was a glimpse into what it can be. A genre that constantly evolves, yet never loses its soul. OPM Con 2025 honored the past, elevated the present, and gave the future a colossal stage to stand on. From stadium anthems to nostalgic throwbacks, Puregold created a space where the entire spectrum of Pinoy sound could shine. And in doing so, Puregold OPMCON is now officially one of the biggest historic moments in Philippine music.
The Philippine concert scene is buzzing with excitement as they prepare to storm the Philippine Arena on July 5, 2025, with Puregold OPM Con 2025. This isn’t just a concert; it’s a cultural milestone. It’s the biggest Original Pilipino Music (OPM) concert of the year, with a galaxy of the country’s best stars and up-and-coming artists.
The concert features emerging musicians like G22 and KAIA, as well as P-pop stars SB19 and BINI, rap stalwarts Flow G and Skusta Clee, and SunKissed Lola’s soulful vibe.
Fans from as far away as Singapore, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, and other nearby countries are booking flights to witness this historic event, and the excitement is electric due to multiple trending topics about the event on X, sold-out ticket drives at Puregold stores, and trending music videos that have received millions of hits. With 30,000 people expected to fill the iconic venue, the atmosphere is sure to be nothing short of euphoric, with every seat pulsing with the combined energy of the fans united by their love of Filipino music.
OPM Con 2025 has been a topic of discussion for months. To purchase tickets, customers have been waiting in line at Puregold locations across the nation. By using their Aling Puring or Perks cards to shop, loyal customers could earn their way into the concert. This is a novel way to sell tickets that allows ordinary Filipinos to attend. The event was so popular that all of the tickets were sold out in a single day during the last ticket drop at Puregold Cubao on June 28.
Puregold’s President, Vincent Co
Puregold is at the center of this cultural trend. It began as a chain of grocery stores but has since become a supporter of Filipino art. OPM Con 2025 is more than just a concert; it’s a strong statement of Puregold’s commitment to making the OPM scene better. This is very important to the company’s president, Vincent Co. Co is a humble, down-to-earth leader, and his love of the arts is a big part of what makes Puregold who it is. Because of his leadership, the store has become a cultural force. It is still affordable and easy to get to, but it has also welcomed a new generation of Filipinos who see Puregold as more than just a store—it’s a place where they can make their dreams come true.
Vincent Co’s goal for Puregold is more than just a business; he wants to leave a legacy of pride in being Filipino and new ideas. Under his leadership, Puregold has become a supporter of the arts, not just music but also other creative activities. The Puregold CinePanalo film festival is a great example of this. It gives a lot of opportunities to both professional and student filmmakers to make real Filipino stories. A lot of CinePanalo entries have been praised, and some have even won big awards and been shown at film festivals around the world. This shows that Puregold’s help makes a difference all over the world. People have also liked Puregold’s digital stories, like the web series “Si Sol at si Luna,” which shows what it’s like to be Filipino every day with a mix of humor and heart.
OPM Con 2025 promises to take this vision to new heights. The Philippine Arena will come to life with world-class production design, with stages made just for each act’s style. Expect SB19’s dynamic energy, BINI’s vibrant charisma, Flow G and Skusta Clee’s raw intensity, SunKissed Lola’s soulful depth, and G22 and KAIA’s fresh, bold sounds. This event shows how Puregold, led by Vincent Co, is changing what it means to be a Filipino brand.
Puregold makes OPM Con easy to get to by letting people buy tickets at grocery stores and supporting both well-known and up-and-coming artists. This helps Filipino music—and the stories behind it—stay alive.
The excitement only grows as July 5 gets closer. OPM Con 2025 will be a night of music, passion, and pure Pinoy pride at the world’s largest indoor arena. Puregold is one step closer to achieving its dream of a Philippines where every artist has a stage and every story has a voice.
The Bicol Music Festival on June 14 featured a crowd-stirring performance by Kim Won Shik, who demonstrated his diverse talents and strong stage presence. Known for his role as Daniel Park in the Filipino adaptation of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?, Won Shik impressed the audience with his live performance. His outfit, designed by Cyrix Muyco, further enhanced his charismatic presence on stage.
During the festival, Won Shik performed a captivating set that included four songs, featuring his original hits “Hello My Love” (from What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?) and “To Be With You” (from How to Spot a Red Flag). His ability to connect with the audience was palpable as he effortlessly transitioned between heartfelt ballads and lively covers. The crowd erupted in cheers as he delivered stunning renditions of Maki’s “Dilaw” and TJ Monterde’s “Palagi.”
It wasn’t just his singing that had fans going crazy; it was also the interactive moments shared with the Korean star. Won Shik invited audience members to participate in games, including a “kilig-inducing” staring game that had festival-goers swooning. Lucky fans were treated to moments of sweet eye contact with the charming artist, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and joy.
For those familiar with his role in What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, seeing Kim Won Shik in person was a revelation. His portrayal of Daniel Park is marked by charisma and confidence, traits that were on full display during his performance. Fans were thrilled to witness the same magnetic energy that made them fall in love with his character, now amplified in a live setting. His ability to seamlessly blend his on-screen persona with his real-life charm left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
As Kim Won Shik continues to make waves in the entertainment industry, his performance at the Bicol Music Festival serves as a reminder of his versatility as an artist. Whether he’s acting or singing, he brings a unique flair that resonates with audiences. With this star on the rise, fans can look forward to more exciting projects and performances from the talented artist.

The two-day program will feature documentary screenings, panel discussions, keynote presentations, an exhibit, and a live music showcase featuring more than 16 music acts from the Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.
The Rest Is Noise (TRIN), a music curation and events production outfit based in the Philippines, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary with the return of All Of The Noise 2025. The two-day live music and culture event will take place at Astbury Makati from April 4 to 5, 2025. With a focus on music discovery, cross-cultural dialogue, and creative networking, this year’s edition aims to champion the diverse music communities in the Philippines and Asia while also promising an unforgettable experience for artists, fans, and industry professionals alike.
All Of The Noise 2025 expands on its 2019 programming, offering multi-format activities, including music-themed documentary screenings, panel discussions, and keynote presentations in the morning and afternoon, followed by a live music showcase each evening. The event will highlight critically acclaimed and up-and-coming musicians from the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia, as well as a special exhibit presenting the work of Karen De La Fuente, a prominent music photographer based in Manila.
“As we celebrate 10 years of The Rest Is Noise, we wanted to highlight what helped us reach this milestone in the first place, which is our community,” says MC Galang, co-founder and creative director of TRIN. “It started here at home, with the belief, support, and collaboration of music artists who were at the forefront of the events we’ve put together over the years, but also early on, I think unconsciously, we’ve known and therefore sought people from outside Metro Manila who are doing the same thing we’re doing, and we did, first in Visayas and Mindanao, then eventually in Southeast Asia, the rest of Asia, and all over the world.”
Originally conceived as a year-end, midsized music festival, the third iteration of All of the Noise 2025 expands on its 2019 multi-format programming to hone in on TRIN’s brand of curation to import Asian indie acts and eventually begin exporting Filipino music talent via the team’s capacity as co-founders, producers, and programmers of the intraregional AXEAN Festival.
Galang adds, “This year’s programming, I think, is the best we’ve conceptualized so far. I wouldn’t say it was the easiest, but I think it was just a natural progression and a mirroring of our combined, individual careers so far. The live music program is obviously a crucial mainstay of any production we’ll do, championing exciting newcomers and established indie acts that have showcased their talents abroad, as well as exceptional musicians from Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia.”
Live Music Programming
The live music showcase will feature co-headlining performances from Taiwanese soft-rock band The Chairs, Thai alt-pop band KIKI, Singaporean hip hop artist San The Wordsmith, and Indonesian experimental electronic act Logic Lost. Joining them on stage will be the Philippines’ very own ena mori, SOS, Pedicab, Waiian, and obese.dogma777.
The event will also put a spotlight on Cebu-based artists Mandaue Nights and IIICCCYYY, as well as the debut of Paul Yap (UDD) and Mario Consunji (Musical O)’s collaborative music project Double Shy. Additional performers include Cheeky Things, Pette Shabu, Pixie Labrador, SVATG, and Fashion Island.
Music Conference
All Of The Noise brings back the conference program, Cut Through The Noise, expanded from its 2019 edition. This year’s multi-format showcase summit will feature dynamic and engaging panel discussions and keynote presentations that explore important topics relevant to the local and regional music scene, providing a platform for diverse voices and narratives from niche music communities.
Each panel will have a moderator and resource speakers who will discuss each respective topic, providing insights and expert opinions. Panelists and speakers will be announced in the coming days.
The topics will include:
· Bisdak! VisMin Music Community and Decentralizing OPM Narratives & Opportunities (April 4) · Music Showcase & Creative Industry Development: A Career-Building Guide (April 4) · Empowering Queer Visibility and Imagery in Pinoy Music (April 5) · Brash Maximalism: ‘Budots’ and the Global Future of Pinoy Electronic Music (April 5)
Music-themed Documentary Screenings
For the first time ever, the AOTN programming will feature screenings of two multi-awarded documentaries: Budots: The Craze by Jay Rosas and Mark Limbaga on April 4, and Jingle Lang Ang Pahina by Chuck Escasa on April 5.
The music-themed films will tackle the early phenomenon of budots, the grassroots electronic music movement that started in Davao City, and the legacy of Jingle magazine, one of the pioneering music publications in the Philippines. Following the screenings, the filmmakers will participate in a talkback session, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with the creators.
Exhibit
A key highlight of the event will be an exhibit featuring the work of Karen De La Fuente, a renowned photographer who has captured some of the most iconic Filipino musicians at their most vulnerable, most exhilarating state of live performance. De La Fuente is the former creative director of Ben&Ben, and she has worked with some of the most important music acts and entertainers of the past decade.

Multilingual and multicultural Pinoy pop group ALAMAT celebrated their fourth anniversary with their fanbase, Magiliw, through a special event gig at Viva Cafe in Cubao, Quezon City, on February 22 and 23.
Formed by Viva Artist Agency and Ninuno Media, ALAMAT debuted on February 14, 2021, with their first track, “Kbye.” Composed of members Taneo, Mo, Jao, Tomas, R-Ji, and Alas, ALAMAT reflected on another year of hard work, passion, and success.
During the two-day event, Legends of P-Pop and “Maharani” hitmakers performed many of their songs for their fans, including “Day and Night,” “Noli,” “Dayang,” “Sa Panaginip Na Lang,” “Champorado,” “Aswang,” and their latest releases “Hiraya” and “Sa’yo Pa Rin Uuwi.”
ALAMAT members are always truly handa to harap the crowd, and their fans were in for a treat with solo performances as well.
In a Q&A session, the 6inoos opened up about their struggles and how these challenges helped them grow. The group reflected on how they were just starting to build their chemistry while also discovering themselves as artists. “Hahanapin mo talaga kung sa’n ka mag-fi-fit…pa’no ka magmo-morph para mabuo ‘yung puzzle,” ALAMAT Taneo said.
Similarly, ALAMAT Jao shared how music served as an instrument to enhance their unity and connection as a group. “Although the identity is always already there, it’s the part where we need to work together since magkakaiba-iba talaga kami ng personalities,” he said. “Every time we perform, doon namin talaga nafi-feel like [we are] one,” he added.
Meanwhile, ALAMAT Alas said that it took him a while to overcome his self-doubt. “Wala akong tiwala sa sarili ko, sa talent, sa skills. Minsan hindi ako naniniwala na ‘Uy! Producer pala ako,’” he said and shared that Mo always reminds him of how valuable he is to the group, and when it’s time to “use our Alas.”
ALAMAT Mo also became a little emotional during the interview and emphasized that the most important lesson he has learned is that it is okay to be vulnerable. “Sobrang laking tulong din no’ng nag-uusap kami, nag-o-open up kami. Ma-di-discover mo rin talaga ‘yung sarili mo,” he said. ALAMAT Mo also shared what he wrote in his journal this 2025: “Sabi ko, ‘This 2025,’ nilagay ko do’n, ‘maging estudyante ng buhay araw-araw.’”
ALAMAT R-Ji was also teasing ALAMAT Tomas, saying that “Sa aming anim, siya ang pinakamababaw ang luha.” Given the chance to give his message, ALAMAT Tomas thanked every Magiliw for their support. “Isa lang ang goal namin, makita ‘yung mga ngiti sa mukha niyo,” he said while he was in tears.
Sending their messages of love and support to ALAMAT, Magiliw Philippines surprised the group with a Fan Project Video. This was followed by a message from their fans from Indonesia who were happy to finally have met ALAMAT.
