  • Ramdiss Releases New Rap Track “Anino”

Ramdiss Releases New Rap Track “Anino”

Ramdiss comes through with his latest single, “Anino,” an intense rap song about friendship, envy, and life’s divergent paths. The song tells the story of two friends who grow up together, only to find themselves on vastly different trajectories. While one friend enjoys a life filled with success, winning the girl of their dreams, traveling abroad, and achieving financial stability, the other grapples with feelings of inadequacy and envy, feeling like a mere shadow in his friend’s spotlight.

Ramdiss’ lyrical prowess shines through in “Anino,” as he crafts a vivid story that draws listeners in with its hypnotizing flow. His ability to build tension and create a compelling climax keeps the audience engaged, making them eager to discover how the story unfolds. The song’s unerringly real theme is a reminder to everyone who has ever felt overshadowed or envious of a friend’s success — that envy is a deadly sin for a reason.

“Anino” by Ramdiss featuring Hero, released under Universal Records Philippines, is now available on all streaming platforms.

  • Black Eyed Peas Live in Manila 2025!

Black Eyed Peas Live in Manila 2025!

Party with their Greatest Hits and More!

Breaking News – Six-time GRAMMY® Award-winning trio and one of the best-selling groups of all time, BLACK EYED PEAS is finally coming to Manila on August 27, 2025 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Presented by Wilbros Live. Tickets go on-sale on Saturday, March 15, 12PM via SMTickets.com and SM Tickets outlets nationwide.

Over the past 30 years, the Los Angeles trio–will.i.am, Apl.de.Ap, and Taboo–have achieved sales of 35 million albums and 120 million singles across seminal releases such as Elephunk, The E.N.D., and more. One of the era’s biggest acts, they emerged as “the second best-selling artist/group of all-time for downloaded tracks” (Nielsen) and landed on Billboard’s “Hot 100 Artists of the Decade”. In 2011, they dazzled the world with a landmark performance at the Super Bowl XLV Halftime Show.

They have released several chart-topping hits, including “I Gotta Feeling”, “Where is the Love?”, “Pump It”, “Boom Boom Pow”, “My Humps”, “Meet Me Halfway”, “Let’s Get It Started”, “The Time (Dirty Bit)”, “Don’t Stop The Party”, and many more.

Their eighth studio album, TRANSLATION, achieved staggering international success after its release in 2020. Featuring major collaborations with artists such as J Balvin, Ozuna, Maluma, Shakira, Nicky Jam, and Tyga, the long-player garnered eight nominations at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, including ‘Crossover Artist of the Year” and “Hot Latin Song of the Year” for “RITMO” and a nomination at the 2021 Latin Music Awards for ‘“Favorite Artists – Crossover”. The album resulted in a series of chart-topping singles, including the massively successful “RITMO (Bad Boys For Life)” [feat. J Balvin] and “MAMACITA” [feat. Ozuna and J.Rey Soul], both of which achieved #1 status on three Billboard Charts each, numerous award nominations, and gold, platinum, and diamond certifications globally. The knockout album single from December 2020, “GIRL LIKE ME” [feat. Shakira] continued this streak, achieving success on Latin and Top 40 radio, sparking a viral TikTok challenge in late 2020, and scooping “Best Latin” award at the MTV VMAs, while 2021’s ‘HIT IT’ with Saweetie and Lele Pons racked up 5.8M global audio streams, 1.1M US audio streams and almost 10M YouTube views in its first week alone.

The success of TRANSLATION demonstrated Black Eyed Peas’ ability to reinvent themselves along with the changing times, a fact reconfirmed in 2022 when the band reunited with Shakira and David Guetta for DON’T YOU WORRY, the first single to drop from their ninth studio album ELEVATION. The hugely successful lead single was swiftly followed by the Anitta and El Alfa collaboration SIMPLY THE BEST. In 2023 true BEP fashion, harnessing the musical forces of the Americas, the next single BAILAR CONTIGO (with reggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee) followed by GUARANTEE (SUMMER MIX), has opened up yet another brilliant chapter in the continuing story of the Black Eyed Peas in nothing less than international chart-topping style.

  • Get Festival-Ready! 5 Ways to Prep Your Body for the Ultimate Music Fest with Bear Brand Sterilized

Get Festival-Ready! 5 Ways to Prep Your Body for the Ultimate Music Fest with Bear Brand Sterilized

Music lovers, are you ready to dance, jump, and rock out all night long? The Fusion Music Festival is just around the corner, and Bear Brand Sterilized is here to make sure you FEEL MALINIS, FEEL MATIBAY and that you bring your A-game to the mosh pit, dance floor, and sing-along sessions!

To help you last through the epic lineup without running out of energy, here are five fun and effective ways to get festival-fit—because strong bones, endurance, and immune system are the real VIP passes to a legendary night!

    1. Strengthen Those Festival Feet with Calf Raises
You’ll be standing, walking, and dancing for hours, so let’s make sure your legs can keep up! Do calf raises every morning—stand on your toes, lift your heels, and lower back down. It’s a simple yet effective move to keep your feet from cramping up during your favorite set!
    2. Build Your Stamina with High-Intensity Jumps
Music festivals = nonstop jumping! Whether you’re headbanging at a rock set or bouncing to an EDM drop, your legs and lungs need stamina. Start doing jump squats and burpees a few weeks before the festival. These will boost your endurance and make sure you’re not gasping for air after just one song.

Festival Fuel: Drinking Bear Brand Sterilized before and after workouts can help you recover faster and develop that Tibay Resistensya, so you’re always ready for another round of jumps!

    1. Power Up Your Core for Those Dance Moves
Let’s be real—no one wants to be that person who runs out of energy mid-dance. Strengthen your core with planks, Russian twists, and bicycle crunches to keep up with every beat drop! A solid core also helps with balance, so you don’t lose your footing in a sea of festival-goers.
    2. Hydration is Key—Drink Smart!
Festival heat + hours of dancing = dehydration danger! Start hydrating days before and choose drinks that replenish nutrients, not just quench thirst.

Festival Hack: Bear Brand Sterilized isn’t just a great source of hydration—it’s packed with fortified nutrients like calcium, iron, and zinc to help keep you energized and ready for every beat drop.

    1. Stretch It Out to Avoid Post-Festival Soreness
No one wants to wake up feeling like a zombie after the festival. Stretch your legs, back, and shoulders before heading out to the venue to avoid muscle aches the next day. A quick yoga session or dynamic stretching will do the trick!

Recovery Tip:Giving your body the right nutrients helps with muscle recovery, so you wake up the next day ready for round two—or just reminiscing about the epic night you had!

Music festivals aren’t just about the lineup—they’re about pure energy, unforgettable moments, and dancing like nobody’s watching. Bear Brand Sterilized has your back in these exciting moments. Packed with essential vitamins and minerals, it helps strengthen your bones, keeps your energy levels up, and ensures you power through every performance to help you FEEL MALINIS, FEEL MATIBAY.

  • Suyen’s sound is taking over the music scene—fresh vibes, raw talent

Suyen’s sound is taking over the music scene—fresh vibes, raw talent

Suyen is redefining the local sound.

One name is beginning to stir through the local music industry among a sea of newly born talent: Suyen. This rising musician is rapidly creating a space to call her own with a special mix of melodies and real storytelling. Suyen’s sound feels both familiar and refreshingly new, capturing the hearts of listeners with every strum, beat, and lyric.

On February 14, 2025, she dropped her debut EP, Suyen Imnida, under PolyEast Records and Filtered Music, marking a bold step into the spotlight for this soloist with a sound as distinctive as her story.

Suyen Imnida isn’t just a collection of tracks—it’s a six-song declaration of identity. The title itself is a playful nod to a running joke in Suyen’s life: people often mistake her for being Korean, and she’s leaned into it with a wink and a riff. Announced back on January 24, 2025, the EP arrived just in time for Valentine’s Day, offering fans a love letter to self-expression wrapped in distortion pedals and catchy hooks.

With previously released singles like “Teka Lang! (looper machine),” “Tampo,” and “Bente” already teasing her sonic palette, the full release delivers on the promise of something fresh yet familiar—a blend of 90s grunge nostalgia and modern indie sensibilities that showcase her evolution.

When asked about her favorite artist, Suyen immediately names Cheeky Things, a fuzz-galore band with her favorite song “Bones.” Her playlists have included the five-piece Metro Manila-based five-piece, known for their harsh, grunge-tinged noise-pop, nonstop.

In the ever-evolving world of music streaming, where millions of artists vie for attention, one name is steadily carving out a space of their own: SUYEN. As of March 2025, this independent artist is on track to reach a milestone—getting 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify; it’s 48,398 as of this writing. This achievement signals not just talent but also a savvy understanding of how to connect with fans in the digital age.

She says she wants to work with Sandwich for her dream collaboration. “Growing up favorite ko sila lalo na yung ‘Two Trick Pony,’ maganda yung song kasi that time bihira yung ganon na experimental na song,” she said.

For Suyen, PolyEast’s resources have been a game-changer. “Meron budget for proper recording, marketing, pushing my tracks to playlists, mas nagagawa ko makapag record pag may time ako”, she added.

Suyen kicked off her much awaited EP Launch Gig on February 21, 2025, and the Kowloon House Dining Hall in Quezon City, Philippines, hummed with activity. The sold-out event was evidence of her rising appeal and the unflinching backing of her family, who were instrumental in ensuring the evening went off. SUYEN’s show was more than just a concert; it was a sincere family partnership highlighting her path as an artist, with her mother managing ticket sales and her dad running the sound system.

Joined by fellow artists Ena Mori, Aunt Robert, and ila, SUYEN gave a night to remember at the small space above Mows Bar on Matalino Street. Eagerly clutching tickets purchased weeks in advance, the sold-out audience exuded enthusiasm and expectation into the dining hall. For SUYEN, this gig celebrated her roots and the loved ones who have been at her side every step of the way, not only a professional turning point.

Suyen Imnida” set the tone with their unapologetic vibe, while the EP’s diversity—spanning moody slow-burners to punchy, angst-fueled bangers—showcases her versatility. It’s the kind of debut that doesn’t just introduce an artist but invites you into her world, where every chord and lyric feels like a piece of her.

Suyen already hinted at more music to come this year, proving she’s not here to play it safe. In a scene often dominated by polished pop, Suyen’s rough-around-the-edges authenticity stands out. She’s not just riding the indie wave—she’s stirring it up, one loop at a time.

So, if you haven’t yet, plug into Suyen Imnida on Spotify or catch her next gig. This is Suyen saying “hello” in the loudest, most electric way possible—and trust us, you’ll want to listen.

    The tracklist includes:
Suyen Imnida – The title track, introducing her sound with quirky, self-aware lyrics about her identity and life at 21.

Teka Lang! (looper machine) – A previously released single, reflecting her experimental edge.

    Tampo – Another pre-released nostalgic pop-rock track.

Isang Linggong Maghihintay – A fresh addition to the EP.

Something ’bout u – Highlighting her versatility.

Bente – A pre-released single tying into her youthful, relatable storytelling.

During the two-day event, Legends of P-Pop and “Maharani” hitmakers performed many of their songs for their fans, including “Day and Night,” “Noli,” “Dayang,” “Sa Panaginip Na Lang,” “Champorado,” “Aswang,” and their latest releases “Hiraya” and “Sa’yo Pa Rin Uuwi.”

ALAMAT members are always truly handa to harap the crowd, and their fans were in for a treat with solo performances as well.

In a Q&A session, the 6inoos opened up about their struggles and how these challenges helped them grow. The group reflected on how they were just starting to build their chemistry while also discovering themselves as artists. “Hahanapin mo talaga kung sa’n ka mag-fi-fit…pa’no ka magmo-morph para mabuo ‘yung puzzle,” ALAMAT Taneo said.

Similarly, ALAMAT Jao shared how music served as an instrument to enhance their unity and connection as a group. “Although the identity is always already there, it’s the part where we need to work together since magkakaiba-iba talaga kami ng personalities,” he said. “Every time we perform, doon namin talaga nafi-feel like [we are] one,” he added.

Meanwhile, ALAMAT Alas said that it took him a while to overcome his self-doubt. “Wala akong tiwala sa sarili ko, sa talent, sa skills. Minsan hindi ako naniniwala na ‘Uy! Producer pala ako,’” he said and shared that Mo always reminds him of how valuable he is to the group, and when it’s time to “use our Alas.”

ALAMAT Mo also became a little emotional during the interview and emphasized that the most important lesson he has learned is that it is okay to be vulnerable. “Sobrang laking tulong din no’ng nag-uusap kami, nag-o-open up kami. Ma-di-discover mo rin talaga ‘yung sarili mo,” he said. ALAMAT Mo also shared what he wrote in his journal this 2025: “Sabi ko, ‘This 2025,’ nilagay ko do’n, ‘maging estudyante ng buhay araw-araw.’”

ALAMAT R-Ji was also teasing ALAMAT Tomas, saying that “Sa aming anim, siya ang pinakamababaw ang luha.” Given the chance to give his message, ALAMAT Tomas thanked every Magiliw for their support. “Isa lang ang goal namin, makita ‘yung mga ngiti sa mukha niyo,” he said while he was in tears.

Sending their messages of love and support to ALAMAT, Magiliw Philippines surprised the group with a Fan Project Video. This was followed by a message from their fans from Indonesia who were happy to finally have met ALAMAT.

The anniversary gig concluded with a Hi-Touch session where Magiliws had the chance to meet the 6inoos and interact with them up close.

  • Eraserheads: Combo on the Run offers the truth behind the legendary band

Eraserheads: Combo on the Run offers the truth behind the legendary band

Mark your calendars! Eraserheads: Combo on the Run will have a special three-day screening in cinemas nationwide from March 21 to 23.

Directed by the internationally-acclaimed filmmaker Diane Ventura and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the documentary film promises to give the audience an introspective look at the legendary OPM band, taking them through their humble origins, their enigmatic break-up, and their historic reunion.

    Eraserheads

In the “no-holds-barred depiction of their story”, Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan will tell their personal stories about the band, shedding light on the mysteries that have shrouded their history for the longest time.

After drawing in a 75,000-strong crowd at the SMDC Festival Grounds in December 2022 for their reunion concert Ang Huling El Bimbo, the Eraserheads established that they are indeed living legends. Shortly after, they successfully embarked on a world tour, including stops in the U.S., Dubai, Qatar, Australia, and Singapore.

A lot of preparation and hard work came for this movie to come to fruition, and Director Dianne Ventura wanted to make it as special as possible. The crew shot in the Philippines and in the US during the band’s world tour. “We did the sound design in Berlin, and then Dolby Atmos in L.A., the same sound stage where they did Taylor Swift, Beyonce, the soundtrack of Dune because I felt that their music deserves to be heard in its optimum quality.”

When it comes to authenticity, she also promises to present the truth. “This is a no-holds-barred depiction of their story; nothing is swept under the rug,” Director Dianne Ventura said.

This is seconded by the Eheads frontman himself: “I really loved the movie, the honesty of the guys, and the way that it unflinchingly offered up the truth. That’s one thing I hold dear – whether in my music or my life – is being authentic. This is as authentic as the Eraserheads can get.”

Ely Buendia explained that each one of them was interviewed separately, and when they watched the snippets together later on, he realized that it was the first time that he heard some of his bandmates’ sentiments. “It took me on a journey. Even for someone who was in the situation, it was still a surprise for me,” he said. “This is about growth. I learned a lot about myself.”

When asked as to how it felt about sharing their sides in the story, Ely responded with a smile, “This isn’t our first reconciliation. We’ve all gotten pretty good at it. I see the efforts of everyone to move forward in a more optimistic light. It’s a far cry from 30 years ago.”

Moving forward, one vital question remains: Will Eraserheads be making new music together again?

“I think, again, it all boils down to timing. Of course, we are all very active in making our own music for our own projects,” Ely responded. “The analogy here is if you meet up with your ex, is it a good idea to sleep with them again? There’s so much baggage. It might be enjoyable, but we also have to think about the consequences. I don’t mean to be serious, but there are a lot of considerations. It would be nice if the timing is right and if we feel that we can still do something we can be proud of.”

Francis Lumen, president of WEU Event Management Services and co-producer of their Eheads’ tour, meanwhile, said on a hopeful note, “the film would inspire more interest and sana magkaroon ulit sila ng concert!”

For sure, this movie is a must-watch for long-time Eraserheads fans and music enthusiasts alike. Don’t miss Eraserheads: Combo on the Run in cinemas nationwide from March 21 to 23. Lucky fans might even get the chance to watch the band perform in front of them as they are set to appear in a yet undisclosed theater.

  • Day6 Makes Manila Say Wow

    Day6 Makes Manila Say Wow

On February 22, Day6 — Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon — tore through Araneta Coliseum with their sold-out Forever Young concert.

It had been more than five years since their last Manila gig, and My Days had been waiting. The moment the first duk-duk-tak-tak beats of “Best Part” hit, the crowd detonated.

The energy was relentless from the start. For My Days, this was not just a concert, it’s a long-overdue reunion amplified by adrenaline and anticipation. “Tonight, the energy level in this place is legendary!” Young K mused after a blistering opening run of “Best Part,” “Better Better,” “Healer,” and “Time of Our Life.”

The setlist was a 29-song odyssey through their nearly decade-old catalog, spanning from The Day EP (2015) to Band Aid (2024). A particularly ferocious stretch —”How Can I Say,” “I Wait,” “Love Me or Leave Me,” and “Shoot Me”— had the crowd gasping for breath. There was no time to process, no time to recover, only to feel.

Manila crowds have a reputation for turning concerts into communal spectacles, and this was no exception. “Insane energy, so crazy!” Sungjin called it. The band barely needed to tell the crowd to stay on their feet — hardly anyone sat down to begin with. Every section of the arena was alive, with a tidal wave of screams and stomps as each floor got its hype check. Young K, in disbelief, screamed, “This place is about to go down!”

The country’s notorious singalong status had Young K gushing, “Seriously, you guys know how to sing”. The band looked visibly awed by the harmony, the volume, and the fact that the crowd sang even the non-lyrical parts, like the whistle notes in “I Loved You.”

Then came the waterworks. A fan project from Day6 Philippines paired a heartfelt video with an original composition, leaving Young K misty-eyed and Wonpil in full-blown tears. It was a love letter to the band, a reminder that the emotional lifeline their music provides runs both ways: As Day6’s music heals My Days, may they also find healing in return. Wonpil put it best, sharing, “Everything you showed us today was beautiful and nice.”

Between moments of raw emotion, there was no shortage of sweet chaos. The band humored fan demands for instrument solos, playing with deadpan ease. Near the end, chants of “Walang Uuwi” (no one is going home) turned into an impromptu song. The evening was supposed to end with “Welcome to the Show,” but Day6 wasn’t ready to leave either, so they doubled back, ending full circle with “Best Part.”

There’s new music on the horizon, and Sungjin promised, “The next time we see each other again won’t take this long.” Until then, Dowoon leaves a parting message: “When you are exhausted, make sure to lean on us.”
