St. Vincent Live in Manila 2025

Are we thinking what everyone’s thinking?

Known for her bold, genre-defying sound, this GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist is set to light up the stage in a way only she can. Adding another dynamic artist to its roster, Karpos Live proudly presents St. Vincent Live in Manila this 2025!

Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent, made her debut in 2007 with Marry Me and quickly became one of the most innovative and fascinating figures in modern music. Her albums include Actor (2009), Strange Mercy (2011), and her self-titled 2014 release, which won the GRAMMY for Best Alternative Album. In 2017, MASSEDUCTION soared in the U.S. and UK, winning two more GRAMMYs, while 2021’s Daddy’s Home earned her another Best Alternative Album award. Her 2021-2022 global tour established her status as a live music powerhouse, headlining iconic venues like the Hollywood Bowl and Radio City Music Hall.

Her rise showed no signs of stopping as her first fully self-produced album, All Born Screaming, reveals St. Vincent at her most primal. The album blends spiritual desolation with rapturous acceptance. ‘If you’re born screaming, that’s a great sign,’ says Clark, “because it means you’re breathing. You’re alive. My god. It’s joyous. And then it’s also a protest. We’re all born in protest in a certain way. It’s terrifying to be alive, it’s ecstatic to be alive. It’s everything.”

Get set for another damn good time celebrating life, art, and sound!

Don’t miss your chance to experience St. Vincent’s electrifying Manila debut at Karpos Live on January 8, 2025, at the Filinvest Tent, Alabang!

Bruno Major Live in Manila 2024

Bruno Major makes much-awaited Manila return this September
Indeed, the show must go on.

It has only been months since Bruno Major poured his heart out as he sang for the Manila crowd in August 2023, and with that, it’s true that we just couldn’t get enough of it. So in true KARPOS fashion, Bruno Major is heading back to the Philippines to charm us with his astronomically enchanting music once more.

To see him perform his emotionally raw pieces live is noted to be one of the most beautiful things you will ever set your eyes and ears upon. It’s more than just a night of music, but a night of storytelling guised in the art of performance that is nothing short of electrifying and beautiful at the same time. The Manila crowd was witness to this when he recounted the story of when he wrote the chorus of the title track “Columbo”, named after the car he accidentally crashed in Los Angeles. He told the packed theater in detail how he scribbled down the emotions he was feeling at that moment while car alarms were blaring, sitting at the side of the road near the rammed vehicle.

Bruno’s unique sense of poetics and romance has always been reflected in all of his projects. A prime example of this is his debut album, “A Song For Every Moon”, which was a diary-like album that features feelings of blissed-out emotions and so much more. In recent years, he has also released the album “To Let a Good Thing Die (2022)” where he muses about a timeless love in soft instrumentals, and in 2024, he has an Amazon Original song called “Remember Me” which is a cover of the iconic song from Disney movie “Coco (2017)”.

So call it destiny, as the songsmith himself enchants you with a one-night only show. BRUNO MAJOR LIVE IN MANILA is set to happen on September 7, 2024 at the PICC Plenary Hall.

Snoh Aalegra is finally ‘here now’ in Manila this May

Snoh Aalegra Live in Manila 2024

Karpos Live welcomes yet another electrifying artist to its 2024 roster, and this time, they’re bringing Iranian Swedish-born, Los Angeles-based artist, Snoh Aalegra.

“Golden toned,” “jazz-infused,” and “expansive and dreamy” were the exact phrases Pitchfork used to describe multi-GRAMMY nominated and Swedish Grammis winner Snoh Aalegra for her overall music style, as well as her captivating vocals on her latest album TEMPORARY HIGHS IN THE VIOLET SKIES (2021).

However, her being stringed to a musical legend does not end there. Three years before he passed, Prince, who needs no introduction, took her under his wing to help her cultivate the sound that she proudly shares with her fans now. Alongside Prince, some of her influences include Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey, and so many more, and these inspirations seep through her work with songs like ‘I Want You Around” that encapsulates the main energy of her musical image; “Be My Summer” which can only be described as the orange skies of an early summer sunset; and “Nothing Burns Like The Cold” that will have you off your feet just by hearing the bouncy intro.

Get in your feels this summer as Karpos Live Presents: SNOH AALEGRA. Set to happen this coming May 30 at the Filinvest Tent, Alabang.
