Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Moana” features an inspiring score by Grammy®-winning composer Mark Mancina (Tarzan) and a vibrant soundtrack that gives the film its authentic sound, drawing inspiration from the cultures and rhythms of the Pacific Islands. The film’s rousing music is the collaborative work of Mancina, Emmy®, Grammy®, and Tony®-winning superstar Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton), and Opetaia Foa‘i, the composer and founder of Polynesian band Te Vaka. Presented in partnership with The Japan Foundation, Manila, and endorsed by Studio Ghibli, the concert—which comes as a timely follow-up to Studio Ghibli co-founder and Academy Award-winning filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki’s 2024 RamonnMagsaysay Award— is an official commemorative event of the Philippines-Japan Friendship Year 2026, marking the 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries. This milestone year celebrates the theme: ‘Weaving the Future Together: Peace, Prosperity, Possibilities,’ highlighting decades of friendship, cooperation, and cultural exchange.
With original scores performed by the 83-piece Filharmonika Orchestra under the baton of Gerard Salonga, the purely orchestral program showcases the unforgettable music of acclaimed composer Joe Hisaishi, whose melodies have resonated across generations. For over four decades, Studio Ghibli has captured hearts with its richly imagined worlds and timeless storytelling, underscored by its memorable music.
Audiences will be swept away over approximately two hours of music, journeying through the whimsical castles of Howl’s Moving Castle, the enchanting streets of
Spirited Away, the heartwarming adventures in My Neighbor Totoro (with special narration), and the lively melodies of Kiki’s Delivery Service. Whether you grew up with these films or are discovering them for the first time, ThenSymphonic World of Studio Ghibli brings their magic closer to you.

August 28 – 29, 2027, at The Theatre at Solaire Manila, Philippines – April 2026 – A new chapter in the musical legacy of Attackon Titan begins with Attack on Titan: Symphony from Paradis, the first-ever.officially licensed orchestral concert. Filipino fans of the acclaimed anime will get to experience this full-scale concert experience on August 28-29, 2027, at The Theatre at Solaire, presented by Film Concerts PH.
Featuring brand-new symphonic arrangements curated by original composers Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto, the concert is performed live by a combined ensemble of more than 100 musicians and singers from the Filharmonika Orchestra and the Philippine Madrigal Singers, accompanied by HD large-screen projections from the TV series.
The music of Attack on Titan was always meant to feel as immense as the world it inhabits. These symphonic arrangements unleash the full dramatic impact of the series’ iconic themes: tension, urgency, melancholy, and catharsis.
Building on the global success of Attack on Titan: Beyond the Walls – World Tour, which was centered on a rock-orchestra format and faithful reproduction of the original score, this new concert presents the music through an orchestra-first, concert hall-focused approach. Attack on Titan: Symphony from Paradis will make its world premiere with two performances at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London on October 17, 2026, followed by its Asian premiere at AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong on November 1, 2026, and its American premiere at New York’s Carnegie Hall on January 10, 2027.

Concert Features One Piece Composer Kohei Tanaka’s Score Performed Live by the Filharmonika Orchestra Led by a Guest Conductor
Manila, Philippines – The wait is almost over. In less than a month, ONE PIECE Music Symphony returns to Manila for a one-night-only performance on January 11, 2026 (Sunday) at 5:00 PM at The Theatre at Solaire.
Presented by Film Concerts PH, this show brings the full, official One Piece Music Symphony experience to life. Fans will enjoy the renowned music of Kohei Tanaka performed live by 71 musicians from the Filharmonika Orchestra led by another guest conductor.
Step aboard for a journey through 25 years of the Straw Hat Crew’s greatest adventures. The international concert features breathtaking HD scenes from the anime perfectly synchronized with Tanaka’s powerful score. Newly arranged pieces for this world tour include the energetic new TV opening “UUUUUS!”, alongside beloved tracks such as “Haha naru Umi” (Mother Sea), “Sekai no ichiban oden da!!”, and “Ore no saikouchiten” (Luffy’s Gear 5 Theme).
The show has already won the hearts of fans who experienced the previous run. Content creator Kuya Bols (HyperGeek) described it as “the best One Piece event of the year,” sharing how the concert made him relive the Straw Hats’ journey. “It reminded me of everything they’ve conquered, right from the very start until the latest episode.”

Once he graduated, Tanaka worked for three years in the advertising department of Victor Music Industries before spending two years at the Berkley College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He then returned to Japan to pursue a career as a pianist and a composer.

Festival of Seasons brings the cozy charm of the beloved game to life through music alone. Transforming the sounds of the beloved game through a chamber orchestra, the concert program will take fans on a musical journey through the four seasons of the valley, its unforgettable festivals, and its beloved villagers.
Music that fans know and love from the game will be performed by a chamber orchestra featuring top local talent from the Filharmonika Orchestra, promising an intimate performance that stays true to the relaxing vibes of the game. Each section of the show represents one of the four seasons with accompanying music from the game, plus other memorable songs from the game’s locations, festivals, and villagers, carefully curated by ConcernedApe and with arrangements led by Thanapol.
Fans can look forward to hearing many of the game’s most popular songs such as Stardew Valley Overture, (Spring) The Valley Comes Alive, and Dance of the Moonlight Jellies, plus plenty of surprises and fan-favorite deep cuts.

Founded by Mikhail Schemm, former co-founder and managing director of CC:Concepts, Film Concerts PH will bring live formats that combine the magic of popular films and intellectual properties (IPs) with the power of live orchestral music.
Film Concerts PH introduces a unique format where symphony orchestras perform live and in sync with screenings of films and other beloved content, including video games, anime, and documentaries. This innovative approach promises to deliver unforgettable experiences that immerse audiences in the world of their favorite movies and content like never before.
The company’s inaugural shows are set to be announced by the end of May 2024 and tickets will be on sale via Ticketworld. Fans can anticipate a diverse lineup of events, featuring cult movie series, kids and family favorites, video game music, anime-based concerts, and much more.
Leading the helm of Film Concerts PH is Mikhail Schemm, who brings 10+ years experience in the live events and entertainment business. Schemm was instrumental in bringing the first Harry Potter film concert to Manila in 2019 with the previous company, in addition to “Call Me By Your Name In Concert” in 2018.
Film Concerts PH has also secured a collaboration with renowned Philippine conductor Gerard Salonga, currently the resident conductor of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in Kuala Lumpur, who will be in Manila to conduct for select events. Salonga is set to revive his own Filharmonika Orchestra to collaborate with Film Concerts PH, promising extraordinary musical performances.
