    My all-time fave One Republic song is STOP AND STARE because it has a great melody and lyrics. It also holds a special place in my heart. It’s the soundtrack to the happiest day of my life. 🙂

    I just love One Republic’s Counting Stars single as listening to this song reminds me of the hardships I need to face as I continue my journey in pursuing medicine. Just like the struggles faced by musicians who are not accepted right away in the industry, I know that it takes hard work for me to become a doctor – especially the bills I have to pay as I pursue my Biology degree (…counting dollars…). With all these hardships, I know that someday my parents and I will no longer count dollars but instead will count stars – celebrating and living my ultimate dream of becoming a doctor.
