Following its unforgettable runs in Tokyo, Seoul, Jakarta, and Los Angeles, D’Festa, the ultimate K-Pop experience, is ending its world tour with a bang in the Philippines. For its 10th year, Dispatch, an online media outlet in Korea, aims to celebrate with the K-Pop community around the world.
D’Festa is an immersive exhibit that features never-before-seen performances, photographs, and videos from the biggest K-Pop groups such as BTS, Twice, Seventeen, NCT 127, NCT Dream, Enhypen, Tomorrow x Together, and Stray Kids.
The event will have three main parts for fans to enjoy: The Exhibition, The Movie, and The Experience.
The Exhibition has three sections of its own. The first section will have colorful portraits with handwritten messages. The second section will feature portraits of the artists in black and white. The last section showcases group and individual photos. All photos that will be displayed are Dispatch-exclusive.
The Movie is where exclusive footage of never-before-seen performances from the featured K-Pop groups will be shown. These videos were created using cutting-edge XR filming technology.
The last part is The Experience. An immersive 3D LED stage filmed by K-Pop stars. A designated mirror wall is available on one side for visitors to take their pictures. There is also a photo booth where you can pose with your favorite K-Pop singers.
For fans who want to bring home keepsakes from their idols and biases, limited-edition exclusive merch items such as photo books, photo cards, enamel pins, and so much more are also available at the exhibit. Cup sleeves and snacks are also sold at The Café only in D’Festa.
D’Festa will open its doors on December 20, 2024, at BGC Immersive, 3rd Floor inside One Bonifacio, Bonifacio High Street. The event will run until March 19, 2025. Ticket selling will start on November 15, 7:00 PM, priced at PhP 1,200 for weekday visits (Monday to Thursday) and Php1,450 for weekends (Friday to Sunday). A secret marriage service is uncovered when a trunk washes up on the shore, revealing the strange marriage between a couple in the thick of it all.
“The Trunk” is an upcoming South Korean mystery-drama series set to be released on Netflix on November 29, 2024.
The series stars Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun-jin. Gong Yoo plays Han Jung-won, a music producer dealing with past pain, and Seo Hyun-jin portrays Noh In-ji, an employee at a marriage agency called NM that arranges one-year contract marriages.
The series is adapted from the novel “Trunk” by Kim Ryeo-ryeong. It evolves around a mysterious trunk found in a lake, which leads to the uncovering of a secret marriage service. Maintaining the sonic hallmarks that have made him a beloved figure in Pinoy rock, Ely Buendia’s new album examines memories, experiences, and social issues with both self-awareness and maturity. As someone who is known for unpacking cultural and personal narratives in ways that could be incisive but relatable, Ely has truly mastered the art form of reflection, especially when he weaves words and feelings with intricate instrumentation. On Wednesday, in honor of Stranger Things Day—usually celebrated on November 6, the day that Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp, disappeared from Hawkins, Indiana—Netflix released a new teaser for season 5. The teaser revealed a number of intriguing confirmations.
The highly acclaimed streaming series will conclude with its final season in 2025. Fans may rest easy knowing that the remaining episodes will air the following year.
We will now begin Season 5 in the fall of 1987. Season 4’s events began in March 1986. Will (Noah Schnapp), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), and Hopper (David Harbour) were last seen standing in a field.
It seems like some of the episode titles bring new ideas to the Stranger Things world. Series co-creator Ross Duffer shared an Upside Down-inspired poster for a local Hawkins business earlier this year, suggesting that the Turnbow Trap is a reference to them.
According to Duffer’s Instagram teasers, Shock Jock alludes to WSQK, a radio station that will be featured in the season.
One of the most interesting revelations in the teaser trailer is that the final season will take place in fall 1987, four years after Season 1, which released in 2016. The Stranger Things Instagram account posted behind-the-scenes photographs of the cast.

The celebration kicks off with A Spectrum Holiday on November 9 to 10, featuring an eclectic mix of merchants offering food, fashion, cosmetics, pet essentials, and more, catering to every taste and preference.
Additionally, Makati offers a multicultural Christmas experience in collaboration with embassies, showcasing unique traditions and flavors from around the globe. The French Beaujolais event on November 16 to 17, in partnership with the French Embassy, invites guests to savor the finest wines produced in the Beaujolais district of southeastern France, complemented by culinary offerings that celebrate French gastronomy. From December 7 to 8, Makati launches Sleigh the Streets, an event organized in partnership with the Cycling Community. Known for its bike-friendly roads, Makati invites cycling enthusiasts to enjoy a refreshing course around the city, promoting outdoor fun and camaraderie.
Of course, the festivities would not be complete without the French Christmas Market on December 14 to 15 and 21 to 22. Following last year’s success, Makati is once again partnering with the French Embassy to offer a taste of traditional French delicacies, gifts, and experiences.

STAYC, the dynamic K-pop girl group (Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, J), has returned with the release of their new digital single, “…ㅣ (Dot Dot Dot)”, their first autumn confessional song, on October 30th at 6PM KST.

STAYC, known for exploring fresh styles and concepts with each release, takes on the role of bold crush confessors this fall. Their latest single delves into the growth and vulnerability of young love, telling a relatable story of a ‘failed crush’ that resonates deeply with fans in their teens and twenties. As part of their promotion STAYC has launched an AI chatbot ‘Dot Dot Dot Bot’, sparking excitement among fans. The playful, pink-themed bot invites fans to engage in a whimsical “crush consultation”, with the message “Answer me, Dot Dot Dot Bot” displayed on screen. Fans can share their crush-related dilemmas and receive responses from the chatbot, complete with a personalised “success rate” in percentages, adding a fun touch to the experience.
“…ㅣ (Dot Dot Dot)” marks STAYC’s first release since their full-length album Metamorphic in July, which featured bold hit “Cheeky Icy Thang”. With this single STAYC introduces a distinct, autumn-inspired aesthetic that adds depth to their musical repertoire, infusing their growing catalog with a unique, enchanting vibe.
The single title,“…l (Dot Dot Dot)”, symbolises a messaging screen with “Typing ...” without a reply—a subtle metaphor for the anticipation and longing that comes with waiting for an unanswered message. The focus track, “GPT”, cleverly draws a comparison between an unresponsive crush and “GPT”—someone who replies indifferently to continuous questions, capturing the essence of unrequited curiosity. With a blend of sincerity and wit, STAYC gives voice to the universal experience of unreturned feelings, making their story both relatable and poignant.
Musically,“GPT” combines funky rhythms with chill synths, creating a unique French House vibe. The witty and memorable lyrics, like “Answer me, GPT, aren’t you curious about me?”, convey the intensity of unreciprocated interest. The track opens with a fairy-tale-like intro before flowing into a dreamy tempo shift, leaving listeners a lasting impression.
To enhance the experience, this digital single also includes two additional versions: “GPT – Instrumental”, highlighting the urban French House elements, and “GPT – Acapella”, which emphasises the warmth of STAYC’s vocals and the song’s emotional depth, making it ideal for remix potential.
As the perfect companion to “GPT”, the track “Meant To Be” presents a nostalgic story of romance transcending time and worlds. Inspired by a girl traveling through time to find her destined love, the song captures the magic of a connection that defies distance. With heartfelt lyrics like, “I’ve crossed long periods of time and the universe to meet the star, and it’s you”, the song beautifully conveys the sentimentality of a love that endures.
In celebration of their 4th anniversary this November, STAYC is opening a special pop-up store titled ‘ONLY 4 SWITH’. The Manila Pianos Artist Series in collaboration with Artes Organization, present Al Gatmaitan in TRA MUSICA E SOGNO, an enchanted evening that highlights classical crossover pieces performed by the Man of Music that evoke a wide range of feelings, from nostalgia to inspiration, “Andare con la tua arte”, which means, “Go with your art”, a message that manifested in a dream of Gatmaitan who once contemplated on his desire to become a priest and his love for singing.
Tenor, musical theater artist, actor for television and film and commercial model, Al Gatmaitan received extensive vocal education at the University of the Philippines under Professor Emmanuel Gregorio; followed by studies at the Conservatory of Music, University of Santo Tomas, and finally finished his Music Degree at St Paul College, Manila, both under Dr. Ronan Ferrer.
He earned further scholarship in Italy where he studied L’insegnamento della Lingua Italiana all’Estero at Universita per Stranieri Dante Alighieri. He was granted additional scholarships to attend Teatro Calabria (Acting and Diction) under Professor Rodolfo Chirico, soprano Maria Francavilla of the Consevartotio di Vibo Valennita (intensive private vocal formation training) and Spazio Teatro (Actor’s Formation).
For this special show, Gatmaitan’s repertoire includes a mix of Italian, Spanish and English classical crossover songs influenced by Andrea Bocelli, reimagined with his unique style and flair. Acclaimed concert pianist Dingdong Fiel, with his high level of expertise and refined playing style, shares the stage with Gatmaitan. High-caliber vocal artists Margarita Roco, soprano and film and theater actor Red Nuestro are special guests.
