    The alternative band Tilly Birds, hailing from Bangkok, Thailand, has achieved household name status and garnered immense popularity in their home country.     Nice to MIXX You: NMIXX Debuts on the Philippine Concert Stage

    NMIXX greeted their Filipino fans for the first time on the Philippine concert stage during the Manila stop of their showcase tour, which saw them perform their best hits and surprise their local fans with an adorable rendition of a Filipino nursery rhyme.

    Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin brought the NMIXX SHOWCASE TOUR [NICE TO MIXX YOU] to Manila last June 30, 2023, at the New Frontier Theater. The Manila stop served as the final stop of their first showcase tour which saw them perform in 13 cities in North America and Asia.

    The girl group greeted Philippine NSWERs with “TANK” and “O.O”, tracks from their debut single album, Ad Mare. They then officially welcomed the crowd to the NMIXX SHOWCASE TOUR [NICE TO MIXX YOU] and delivered their signature greeting before introducing themselves one after the other.

    Lily praised the audience for their singing and thanked them for coming to the showcase. “So many fans from Manila have come to support NMIXX today. Thank you! Did you wanna see us?” she said. Haewon shared that they prepared hard for the concert which Bae described as a dream come true.

    “I’m so happy we were able to do this overseas tour. I’m really excited for our final stop tonight,” Jiwoo said, echoing the group’s sentiment on the successful conclusion of their first showcase tour.

    NMIXX leveled up the charming stages with the funky and groovy “PAXXWORD” and “Just Did It” from their first extended play, Expรฉrgo. But before they dive into their next performances, the girls graciously taught the audience the moves to have them dance along to “Young, Dumb, Stupid”, the pre-release track from Expรฉrgo. The song got everyone singing alongโ€” voices reverting loudly at the New Frontier Theater.

    Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin then gave Philippine NSWERs the cutest surprise as they adorably sang the Filipino nursery rhyme “Kung Ikaw Ay Masaya”, accompanied by the audience’s loud cheers. The girl group got more treats for the fans because the evening also saw them perform TWICE’s “TT” and David Guetta’s “Hey Mama”.

    The girl group continued to deliver outstanding stages, boasting their vocals, dance, and charms with “DICE” and “COOL (Your Rainbow)” from their second single album, Entwurf, and “My Gosh” from Expรฉrgo.

    And of course, the night will never be complete without Philippine NSWERs showering NMIXX with love and appreciation and welcoming them with warmth to the country. The fans prepared a special video presentation for the girl group that made the girls emotional. Kyujin relayed her gratitude, saying, “As how much love NSWERs are giving to us, we will do our best to repay you with more love. I hope all of us can stay together in the future more and more and more healthily.”

    Lily echoed the word of thanks, adding “It’s been a long time coming. Thank you so much for waiting. We want to see you guys so much. I see a lot of Filipino NSWERs commenting on our stuff a lot. It means so much to me. I’m so glad I finally got to see you. Thank you for the video and the signs as well.”

    NMIXX concluded the Philippine stop of their showcase tour โ€” and the whole showcase tour โ€” with “HOME”, “Love Me Like This”, and encore performances of “O.O” and “Love Me Like This”. The girls bade their farewell with “Mahal kita“.

    “We are happy to have this final stage of our showcase tour together with you all,” Haewon said. Lily added, “Thank you for being an amazing crowd today.” Kyujin also relayed her hope to come back to the Philippines for a concert. “Instead of a showcase, I hope we can meet at a concert. Please come, okay?”

    With strong vocals, engrossing choreography, and a commanding presence on stage, NMIXX’s debut performance in Manila demonstrated their talent and ever-growing capabilities as rising K-Pop acts.

    You Me At Six Delivers Phenomenal Return to the Philippine Concert Stage

    After nine years, You Me At Six came back to the country for another incredible performance to add to the repertoire!

    โ€œItโ€™s a pleasure to be back in the Philippines,” said vocalist Josh Fransechi as You Me At Six performs in front of their legion of fans who waited to see them back on the local concert stage after nine years since headlining PULP Live Worldโ€™s Bazooka Rocks 3 festival in 2014.

    The stage blazed and everyone in attendance was blown away last July 6 at the Skydome, welcoming the band and the Truth Decay Tour with the signature passion and energy of the Philippine concert crowd. “I and the boys are having a wonderful f*cking time with you all,โ€ Josh exclaimed during the show.

    Josh, guitarists Chris Miller and Max Heyler, bassist Matt Barnes, and drummer Dan Flint delivered hardcore performances of powerhouse tracks from their most recent and eighth studio album, Truth Decay, which they released in January 2023. They opened the Manila show with “Deepcuts”. Hinting at nostalgia, the band followed it up with the 2013 award-winning single, “Fresh Start Fever” and 2018 single “Straight to My Head”, before capping up the opening set with “Heartless”.

    The concert’s setlist delivered a perfect mix of the vintage favorites and their recent powerhouse anthems, giving fans a journey with the band through the Truth Decay Tour. They performed the classics “Bite My Tongue”, “Stay with Me”, and “No One Does It Better”, together with “What’s It Like”, “No Future? Yeah Right”, “Give”, “Mixed Emotions”, “God Bless the 90s Kids”, and “Take on the World”.

    Enjoying the concert and singing their hearts out, the crowd earned proud approval from the band. โ€œWeโ€™ve established something tonightโ€”you all have good singing voices.โ€ Capping off the evening, in Josh’s words, the Filipino way, the band performed “Suckapunch”, “Underdog”, “Reckless”, and “Beautiful Way”.

    The South Korean superstar captioned the story with โ€œI look forward to seeing you all,โ€ alluding to her upcoming Manila show. The actress is set to hold her second fan meeting in the Philippines this coming Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 5 PM, at SM Skydome.

    2023 LEE SUNG KYOUNG ASIA FAN MEETING [BE CLOSER] IN MANILA will be the third stop of her fan meeting tour that started in Tokyo. The show promises to be twice as fun and intimate as the well-loved actress forges a โ€˜closerโ€™ bond with her Filipino fans through segments like talk, games, and performances. In addition, the upcoming event will mark her return to the Philippines after four years.

    Han Seung Woo made his debut in 2016 as the leader of the K-Pop boy group VICTON. In 2019, he finished third in Mnet’s survival reality show, Produce X 101, and debuted as the leader of the project group X1.

    Following X1’s disbandment in 2020, he returned to his activities with VICTON. The same year, he made his solo debut with the extended play, Fame, and lead single “Sacrifice”. In 2021, he released his second EP, Fade. He then enlisted in the military, returning to civilian life in January 2023.

    In June, he came out with his third EP, Frame, and single “Dive Into You”.

    Since his debut, he takes on an active role in writing and composing songs for his group and his solo releasesโ€”with over 30 songwriting credits under his name.

    There is nothing like the memory of July 2nd with Cha Eun Woo, AROHAs, and Dunkin’.

    Thousands of AROHAs packed Araneta Coliseum with their brilliant lights and loudest chants to welcome Cha Eun Woo back to the Philippines after nearly a year since his last fan meet. The palpable excitement was a testament to the fans’ unwavering love and support, which they ensured reached the ASTRO member.

    Following a pre-show performance by the nation’s very own YARA, host Denise Laurel took the stage to officially welcome everyone to the fan meeting event and to prepare the audience for what was to come.

    Cha Eun Woo welcomed everyone with a charming song number from his 2020 drama True Beauty, “Love So Fine,” which he sang at his AROHAs. He then said his proper hello to the audience, who responded with the loudest applause and the best enthusiasm, making it difficult for the singer-actor to hear himself.

    “Hello! Mabuhay! Nice to meet you. I’m Eun Woo.”

    The Dunkin’ ambassador expressed his delight at seeing the Filipino fans again and was obviously moved by their enthusiasm. Additionally, he discussed his upcoming drama, A Good Day to Be a Dog, which is set to come out this year. He will collaborate on the project with Lee Hyun Woo and Park Gyu Young.

    Cha Eun Woo described his character, Jin Seo Won, as a tsundereโ€”someone who appears frigid on the surface but has a soft heart. The ASTRO member graciously expressed his gratitude with “salamat po” after receiving confirmation from fans that they will eagerly anticipate the drama.

    In fact, with everything he has on his plate right now as a singer, actor, brand ambassador for multiple brands across the world, and so much more, we can’t help but wonder where he finds the energy in the midst of his busy and packed life. His response? AROHAs.

    As the newest ambassador for Dunkin’ in the Philippines, who was introduced in March of this year, it is obviously a must for fans to learn about his favorite Dunkin’ offerings. He revealed his preferences for Spanish Latte, Bavarian, Munchkins, and iced drinks in a game with some lucky fans. A member of the audience at the fan meeting also received a special gift from Cha Eun Wooโ€” Dunkin’ products to be delivered via a Dunkin’ food truck.

    But his gifts seemed limitless as he went on to perform two more songs for his AROHAs, “First Love,” his solo song from ASTRO’s Drive to the Starry Road album, and “Focus on Me,” an official soundtrack from The Villainess is a Marionette.

    The priceless moment spent with Cha Eun Woo had to come to an end despite the lure of walang uuwi. Nevertheless, the ASTRO member and AROHAs made sure that pleasant memories would fill each other’s days by leaving one another with thoughtful messages and promises. The singer-actor showed his gratitude to everyone with a bow at a 90-degree angle and waves, and he made a commitment to return to the Philippines to see his Filipino fans once again.
