Beyond the Beat brings together Sony’s latest ULT speakers, live performances, music, and style for an immersive celebration at COVE Manila.
Music, style, and powerful sound took center stage as Sony Philippines brought its ULT POWER SOUND experience to life with Beyond the Beat: The Next-Level ULT POWER SOUND Experience, held at COVE Manila, Okada Manila.
Designed as Sony Philippines’ biggest ULT POWER SOUND launch in the country, the event brought together fans and guests across MySony General Admission, Elite, and Platinum tiers, alongside industry guests.
The event also brought the Sony ULT Squad , with SB19 making their first appearance as the newest addition to the lineup. Joining them are fellow ULT Squad members Maki, KAIA, Jeremy G, A-Team, Carlos Serrano III, David Guison, Angelique Manto-Guison, and Jacqueline Jala, bringing together some of the country’s most exciting artists and personalities.
New ULT Speakers Take Center Stage
The event opened with remarks from Shuhei Sugihara, Sony Philippines’ President and Managing Director, setting the stage for an evening celebrating music and sound. Keira Ambubuyog, Product Marketing Specialist of Sony Philippines, then introduced the latest additions to the ULT POWER SOUND lineup, highlighting Sony’s newest innovations in powerful audio. Arbie Bandiling, Senior Marketing Communications Executive of Personal Audio Systems, followed with the unveiling of the latest ULT Squad Video, introducing the artists and personalities bringing the ULT POWER SOUND experience to life.
The latest lineup features the ULT TOWER 5, ULT TOWER 7, and ULT TOWER MAX, each designed to deliver deeper bass, powerful sound, and party-ready features. Built with newly developed large circular woofers, large capacity speaker cabinets and ULT DUCT, the next generation ULT POWER SOUND series lineup delivers stronger low-frequency bass performance than ever before.
The ULT TOWER MAX delivers the most powerful bass in the ULT POWER SOUND series yet, while the ULT TOWER 7 offers stage-worthy sound in a portable design. The compact ULT TOWER 5 brings impressive bass and karaoke with DJ capabilities to smaller gatherings.
Guests experienced the new lineup firsthand through interactive event zones designed to bring ULT POWER SOUND to life. Step into the Beat combined an arcade-inspired setup, stacked ULT Towers, and a dance pad, while ULT Selfie Club offered a high-energy photo experience. At ULT Cover Star guests styled themselves with ULT Field speakers together with designer pieces from Alser Lumawag. Meanwhile, The Bass District created a nightlife-inspired space for KOLs and VIP guests, while the Karaoke Lounges let the guests step up to the mic and experience the party-ready capabilities of the new ULT lineup.
Meet the Faces of the ULT Squad
The ULT Squad brought together a dynamic mix of Filipino artists, creators, and performers, each bringing their own sound and personality to the celebration.
The event was hosted by fashion influencer and fellow ULT Squad member, Angelique Manto-Guison, as A-Team opened the show with a high-energy performance, followed by a performance from Carlos Serrano III, whose distinct presence added to the growing lineup. David Guison and Jacqueline Jala also walked the stage showcasing their elevated fashion along with the ULT Models, while Jeremy G added his own musical style to the mix.
Among the evening’s featuring acts, KAIA brought their youthful energy and contemporary pop sound to the ULT stage, while Maki delivered his signature performance style in a standout set. The night culminated with SB19, making their first appearance as the newest members of the Sony ULT Squad. Their addition brings together Sony’s sound technology and the group’s growing influence in Filipino music, further strengthening the ULT Squad as a platform for artists who continue to shape today’s music culture.
