    Fantasy in the Philippines are up for a treat as the boys of SF9 bring their 2019 SF9 LIVE FANTASY #2 UNIXERSE in the archipelago in November.

    Youngbin, Inseong, Jaeyoon, Dawon, Rowoon, Zuho, Taeyang, Hwiyoung, and Chani will stage another powerful concert through live performances of their hits including “Fanfare”, “O Sole Mio”, “Mamma Mia”, “Now or Never”, and “RPM” at the New Frontier Theater on November 16.

    Presented by Three Angles Production, the concert promises a memorable night filled with SF9’s music and charms — a perfect treat for Philippine Fantasy who waited more than a year for their favorite boys’ return on the Philippine concert stage.

    SF9 is the first K-Pop dance group of FNC Entertainment, the agency which houses top Korean bands FTISLAND and CNBLUE. The boys debuted in 2016 after winning FNC Entertainment’s survival show d.o.b (Dance or Band) wherein they competed as NEOZ Dance against NEOZ Band (later debuting as Honeyst).

    Youngbin, Inseong, Jaeyoon, Dawon, Rowoon, Zuho, Taeyang, Hwiyoung, and Chani released their debut single album Feeling Sensation in October 5, 2016 with “Fanfare” as its title track. The boy group has since released seven extended plays and one single album in South Korea.

    Their latest EP titled RPM peaked at the fifth spot of Gaon Album Chart and at the 15th spot of Billboard World Albums Chart.

    Lee Dong Wook And Target To Join The Festivity At The #LoveKOrea Culture & Travel Fiesta

    One of South Korea’s top leading men Lee Dong Wook and rising K-Pop boy group Target will head over to the Philippines to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between South Korea and the Philippines through the #LoveKOrea Culture & Travel Fiesta organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.

    The actor and the K-Pop boy group will join actress Sue Ramirez, the Honorary Ambassador for Korea Tourism, in the event happening on October 5 and 6 at the Fashion Hall, SM Megamall.

    Admission to the event is free, but 100 lucky fans will get a chance to have a seat at the opening ceremony of #LoveKOrea Culture & Travel Fiesta that will feature Lee Dong Wook.     In a video message, the actor, who rose to fame in the Philippines through the highly-popular 2005 Korean drama My Girl, expressed his gratitude to Filipinos for their heartfelt love for South Korea. He also shared his excitement to meet and greet his fans and ended the message with a sweet “Salamat po, Mahal ko kayo. Kamsahamnida.”

    Since his debut in 1999, Lee Dong Wook has starred in numerous productions including his team up with Kim Sun Ah in Scent of a Woman in 2011 and his reunion drama with his My Girl leading lady Lee Da Hae in the 2014 television series Hotel King. He also brought to life the well-loved character Grim Reaper from Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. This year, he headlined Touch Your Heart with Yoo In Na and currently stars in OCN’s Hell Is Other People, along with Im Si Wan.

    In addition to his acting career, Lee Dong Wook also served as the host of Mnet’s Produce X 101 which produced the K-Pop boy group X1.

    Aside from Lee Dong Wook, attendees of #LoveKOrea Culture & Travel Fiesta will get to meet the seven-member K-Pop boy group Target.

    Composed of Seulchan, G.I, Zeth, Hyun, Roi, Boun, and Woojin, Target debuted in 2018 in South Korea through the mini album Alive with “Awake” as its lead track. The boys went on to release the single albums Is It True, M the M, and S the P.

    2018 is definitely a big year for Kpop as the biggest and grandest award show and music festival from Korea will be staged in Manila, Philippines this January 2018.

    The first Mr. & Ms. BPO search kicks off

    The Philippines has indeed become a powerhouse when it comes to beauty pageants and modeling competitions. We have proven time and again that we can be on top of the game if given the chance to showcase the so-called ‘inner beauty,’ wit and charm.

    This year, an exciting search unfolds with a fresh and innovative approach, the first Mr. & Ms. BPO. It highlights the workforce behind one of the most progressive industries in the country to date – Business Process Outsourcing – or what is commonly called BPO or contact center.
    The first contact center was established in the Philippines in 1992. After almost two decades, the Philippines was declared the world’s BPO capital. And last year, it was projected to have generated 1.3 million new jobs with a 17% annual growth. Without a doubt, the Philippines is the standard country in the world for the BPO enterprise.

    With all these breakthroughs, the search for the perfect BPO Ambassadors is equally exciting. The time has come to put the spotlight to the new breed of young men and women who can be rightfully called “mga bagong bayani ng bayan” (the new heroes of the country).
    The Search for Mr. & Ms. BPO kicks off and is now accepting applicants. Interested parties must be 18 to 26 years old, single, Filipino citizen or with Filipino blood ancestry, at least 5’4” tall for female and 5’6” tall for male. They must also have proportionate physiques, possess pleasing personalities, and with good moral character. He/she must also be regular employees of the company and a resident of the Philippines.

    The first Mr. & Ms. BPO aims to promote excellence, leadership and camaraderie in the workplace. It will also empower the candidates to impart the right attitude at work and the drive to help in nation building. Facilitating the development of the candidates in a holistic approach is a formidable team composed of mentors for fitness and well-being, communication skills, emotional intelligence acumen and modeling, just to name a few.

    The mentors are Jun Macasaet (Manhunt International 2102 winner), Jonathan Yabut (first winner of The Apprentice Asia), Jennifer Hammond (Binibining Pilipinas 2016), Ruby Manalac (Emotional Intelligence expert) and Mauro Lumba (Century Tuna Sperbods 2014 and fitness enthusiast).
