THE UKRAINIAN PROG METALLERS WON’T BE ALONE AS THE SPANISH METAL OUTFIT DISSOCIATED SUPPORTS THE SHOW!
The date draws near when Filipino metal fans will—once again—raise their horned salutes and gather to celebrate the live and the loud as the JINJER ASIAN TOUR 2025 is happening this February 18th, 2025 at the Skydome, SM North EDSA.
Led by both enchanting and empowering vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk, the band – featuring guitarist Roman Ibramkhalilov, bassist Eugene Abdukhanov, and drummer Vladislav “Vladi” Ulasevich – will be delivering the fire and flames via technical riffs and grooves, brutal growls, soaring melodic vocals and realistically dark lyricism; all of which are effectively combined into epic crowd anthems that have garnered acclaim from both critics and fans of the genre worldwide.
And to add to the excitement for the upcoming show, all-new international heavy metallers DISSOCIATED (hailing all the way from Spain) will be supporting Jinjer and are stoked to offer their unique take on the genre. Without a doubt, Disscoated’s addition to the show proves that heavy metal is alive and well in the worldwide music scene and promises local metalheads will now have twice the fun – and needless to say – get more bang for their buck.
Jinjer was formed in 2009 and armed with an intense touring ethic and a no-guts-no-glory attitude, the band rose to prominence by supporting legendary acts like ARCH ENEMY and CRADLE OF FILTH during its early days and stood out from their peers by incorporating various music styles in their live and studio sonic assault like funk, soul, R&B and jazz. But it was in 2017 – with the release of the single “Pisces” and its live video performance—that the band exploded on the worldwide map, and the track has currently garnered 88 million views. Their long-awaited fifth studio album Duél is set to be released this February 7th, and the release of the musically dizzying and wonderfully technical first single “Kafka,” has fans fired up even more – and can now be heard on all online music platforms and streaming sites.
There’s absolutely no reason NOT to witness this ground n’ pound offering from PULP Live World, and serious metal fans who want to keep the flame burning will have the perfect opportunity to show that the Philippines is a tour destination worth the stop.
Tickets to the JINJER ASIAN TOUR 2025 IN MANILA are still available at SM Tickets outlets and online via bit.ly/JINJERinMANILA.

The two-day musical celebration marks a milestone in Danao’s illustrious 25-year journey as an artist, serenading music fans with heartfelt tunes that cut across generations. The concert also follows Danao’s series of sold-out cafe shows, which took place in several intimate venues across the Philippines.
Produced by Johnoy Danao and minsan studio, Liwayway at Dapithapon promises to deliver an unforgettable event that chronicles the career of one of the country’s most beloved folk troubadours. The concert will not only revisit Danao’s familiar tunes but will also offer new renditions and never-before-heard tracks, demonstrating his growth as an artist over the years.
minsan studio head Jason Conanan, who has worked with Danao in bringing this vision to life, shares his excitement about the project. “Johnoy Danao has undergone so many phases in music, and we’re here to highlight the best of these moments,” Conanan explains. “It started with a simple idea—an email asking if the MET, now newly renovated, could host his long-overdue solo concert. Now, it’s becoming a reality, and we’re thrilled to present it in a venue that truly honors his work and legacy.”
A standout feature of the concert will be a special set accompanied by a 15-piece orchestra, masterfully arranged by Ria Villena-Osorio. “We want to offer the audience something different,” Conanan says. “Johnoy who usually plays as a solo act will be supported by a full band, and some of his songs will be reimagined in a lush, orchestral setting that will enrich the experience and bring na ew dimension to his music. The minsan team is also helping with the creative direction of the show, so it’s a collaboration that we’re really looking forward to.”
For Danao, the concert represents not only a festive celebration of his past but also an exciting glimpse into his future. “Expect an experience that speaks to the soul,” says Danao. “We’ll cradle the tired hearts, minds, and bodies of our audience with the music I’ve written over the past 25 years: some old songs with new twists and fresh tracks that I’m excited to share with everyone for the first time. We also have special guests joining us in this special event.”

NIKI’s third studio album, Buzz, released on August 9 via 88rising, captures the feeling of being on the precipice of discovery across thirteen introspective tracks. It includes fan-favorites such as the summer anthem “Tsunami”, the astrologically-inspired “Blue Moon”, the playful lead single “Too Much of a Good Thing”, the bittersweet title track “Buzz”, and the emotionally raw “Did You Like Her In The Morning?”.
In Buzz, NIKI’s songwriting remains as intimate as ever, inspired by lane-paving female artists like Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Carly Simon and Liz Phair, of whom influenced her confessional, honest lyrics and guitar-driven sound. To capture the album’s exploratory spirit, she tapped producers Tyler Chester (Madison Cunningham, Sara Bareilles) and Ethan Gruska (Fiona Apple, Phoebe Bridgers) as collaborators, who helped bring a new depth to her creative and personal sea change.
For NIKI, things have been happening progressively since she was a high schooler in Jakarta, Indonesia, where she penned lovesick poems in English class and performed acoustic guitar covers of American pop songs on YouTube. With a six-string in hand, and her family and classmates cheering her on from the audience, Nicole Zefanya then staked her claim to global stardom as NIKI.
With over three billion streams worldwide, sold out shows on multiple continents, massive sets at festivals across the globe, front row seats at Paris Fashion Week, four songs on a Marvel film’s soundtrack, and some of the most phenomenal, confessional songs being released in 2024, NIKI has established an impressive career before turning 25.

To date, the Backstreet Boys have toured around the globe several times over, released ten studio albums and have broken several records, including the U.S. record for most albums sold in one year, selling over 11 million copies of their third studio album, Millennium, in 1999.

Indie-rock trio Last Dinosaurs have teamed up with Filipino indie darlings Oh, Flamingo! to release an alternate version of their single “Sense”. Oh, Flamingo! brings a fresh Filipino twist to “Sense”, blending classic ’90s indie rock elements with original Tagalog lyrics. Listen to the track here.
“So excited to have a cool band from the Filipino scene sing some lines on this track in Tagalog. We have fond memories of playing to the super enthusiastic crowds in Manila and having Oh, Flamingo! on the bill should be another big night of dino rock.”
Last Dinosaurs
We’re thrilled to team up with Last Dinosaurs on the Alternate Version of Sense. We wanted to put a different spin on it, so we reimagined the story as this back-and-forth between two people. Bringing in Tagalog lyrics helped us put a personal stamp on the song. The language adds this melodic tone that just makes the emotions hit differently. We’re excited for everyone to hear it!
Oh, Flamingo!
Having just released their latest album ‘KYORYU’ earlier this year, Last Dinosaurs are treating their fans to more surprises – a re-release of their third album, ‘Yumeno Garden’, in vinyl format as well as a series of fresh renditions of fan-favorite tracks from the album featuring collaborations with talented musicians across Southeast Asia.
Last Dinosaurs will perform alongside Oh, Flamingo! at the SM City North EDSA Skydome on December 8. Tickets are now on sale via SM Tickets outlets nationwide and online here.
Despite coming up in Australia, indie rock band Last Dinosaurs is an international enterprise with a track record to prove it. Brothers Lachlan and Sean Caskey, along with Michael Sloane, have played sold-out headlining shows and festivals across the US, UK, Europe, Southeast Asia, South Africa, and Australia. The success of studio albums ‘In a Million Years’, ‘Wellness’, ‘Yumeno Garden’, and ‘From Mexico With Love’ have taken them around the world and back, playing notable festivals like Lollapalooza, Corona Capital, All Things Go Festival, and more alongside artists like Florence + the Machine, Bad Suns, Foals, Matt & Kim, Foster the People, Vacations, and more.
