Rising artists and digital creators Dylan Burton and AJ Colico are set to take the stage as presenters at the 11th PPOP Music Awards, happening October 18, 2026, at the Araneta Coliseum.
Produced and presented by Noble Life International, the ceremony will celebrate Philippine pop music and culture as P-pop enters a new decade—one increasingly shaped by digital platforms, passionate fandoms, and artists who move fluidly across music, performance, and entertainment.
For Burton and Colico, their roles as presenters mark another milestone in careers that reflect the changing landscape of Filipino pop. Both first gained wider recognition through the Korean-Filipino survival program Be The NEXT: 9 Dreamers, which brought together aspiring performers pursuing careers in the idol industry. Since then, they have expanded beyond the survival-show format, building audiences through digital content while pursuing music and live performance. In 2026, both were introduced as official artist talents of iMe Philippines, marking a new chapter in their careers as recording artists.
Their journey from aspiring idols to performers and creators makes their appearance at the PPOP Music Awards particularly fitting as they help present and celebrate the artists who are making their mark on Philippine pop.

Dylan Burton, who competed on Be The NEXT: 9 Dreamers as Dylan, has continued developing his career in music, performance, and digital entertainment. In April, Burton and Colico headlined the Fanverse Experience: Closer Than Ever at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, where Burton performed his solo release “Di Pala Ako.” The event highlighted the pair’s growing connection with their fanbase while introducing audiences to their development as recording artists. His appearance at the PPOP Music Awards adds another major stage to that trajectory, this time placing him in the role of presenter alongside fellow artists and personalities from the Philippine pop scene.
AJ Colico has similarly built a multifaceted career spanning music, acting, digital content, and live entertainment. Following Be The NEXT: 9 Dreamers, Colico established himself as a digital creator and livestream personality while pursuing opportunities in music and acting. His growing online audience has become an important part of his career, allowing him to connect directly with a generation of fans who increasingly discover and support artists through social media. Colico has released songs including “Nandito Ako” and “Hi Hello,” and has also collaborated with Burton, Francis Adaya, and MNL48 on “Wonderful Moments.”
Their participation in the 11th PPOP Music Awards comes at a pivotal moment for Philippine pop. Over the past decade, P-pop has grown from a developing local movement into a wider ecosystem encompassing artists, producers, dancers, creators, fandoms, and live entertainment. Its next chapter is increasingly defined by performers who can move between music, social media, and other forms of popular culture.
