Concert King Martin Nievera and Side A, the country’s number one band will kick off Viva’s 30th anniversary celebration with a concert titled “All For 1” at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 11, 2011. This is the first time that Martin and Side A are performing in a concert together.

Jason Mraz has announced plans for a special international tour, an extraordinary itinerary that will see the Grammy Award-winning tunesmith visiting North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia with a special one-night show in the Philippines at the historic Smart Araneta Coliseum on October 30. More than just a concert tour, Mraz’ worldwide journey will see him celebrating music’s lasting power to inspire change and help others through global citizenship.
The majority of the tour will find Mraz teaming up with his longtime friend, percussionist Noel “Toca” Rivera, for a series of acoustic dates celebrating the tenth anniversary of their independently released classic, “LIVE AT JAVA JOE’S.” The tour will take the duo across the globe, from benefit concerts and festivals in the USA, Morocco and France, to shows at such iconic venues as Australia’s Sydney Opera House and New York’s Carnegie Hall. SAVED FESTIVAL 2011 is going to rally local churches in the Philippines to rise up to the true calling of a SAVED life in Jesus Christ, who is worthy of all glory and honor and praise!
These days, many people call themselves Christians, but how many continue to live a compromised life? How many belittle the ultimate sacrifice on the cross by continuing their sinful ways? This is the heart of SAVED FESTIVAL 2011, which will launch the BIGGEST praise and worship event and the first festival of its kind in the country, with the emphasis on “Christ-likeness”!
Our conviction is to remind Christians that accepting Christ does not end with the sinner’s prayer, but is a continuous commitment to turn away from sin and focus on a relationship with God. Even those of us who serve in church and are leaders in our spiritual family can still be compromising certain areas of our lives.
By continuing to indulge in our personal desires instead of following His way, we reject His sovereignty as our Lord and Savior.
This is the guiding theme that SAVED FESTIVAL 2011 revolves on, as we reach out to over 15,000 Filipinos for one amazing night of praise and worship for Him alone. International and local Christian artists such as Citipointe Live, Quest, Martin Smith, Sideshow, Starfield, Gary Valenciano, Jodi King and Parachute Band will be part of the artists live onstage!
