SM Prime Premier Suites Draw Strong Corporate Demand

SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SM Prime) is seeing strong demand for its Premier Suites within a month of it July 9 trade launch. This momentum builds on the continued success of the Premier Suites at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Available exclusively to brands and corporations through a minimum one-year lease, the 40-square-meter suites are designed to accommodate up to 30 guests, featuring lounge and theater-style seating, a private restroom, dedicated VIP access, high-speed Wi-Fi, and prime views of live events.

The Premier Suites at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and the SM Seaside Cebu Arena serve as dynamic extensions of the workplace, exclusively designed for brands that value relationship-building.

Partners have the option to tailor their suites with branded furnishings and installations to give their guests a distinctive experience.

At SM Seaside Cebu Arena, suite holders also enjoy exclusive access to six multipurpose function rooms, providing an ideal venue for meetings, corporate events, and other business engagements.

“Premium suites have become a popular feature at leading sports and entertainment venues worldwide because they elevate the live event experience,” explained SM Prime President Jeffrey C. Lim. “They also give businesses a more engaging way to connect with clients, partners and employees.”

Large-scale entertainment venues such as Madison Square Garden, The O2 Arena, and Mercedes-Benz Arena Shanghai offer private suites in a variety of formats and configurations.

In the Philippines, SM Prime pioneered the premium suite concept with the opening of SM Mall of Asia Arena in 2012, introducing the first corporate hospitality offering of its kind in Southeast Asia.

Since then, SM Prime has steadily upgraded its facilities and services to meet the evolving needs of its suite holders. SM arenas provide advance event advisories, direct office ticket delivery, dedicated suite attendants, and customized menus from Premiere Café and accredited caterers.

Among its valued suite holders are Aboitiz Group, ABS-CBN, Cignal TV, Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation, Coca-Cola, Globe Telecom, Meralco, Nestlé Philippines, Philippine Airport Ground Support Solutions (PAGSS), PLDT, Power Stroke Motor Products Corporation, PremiumLeisure Amusement Inc., San Miguel Corporation, Solaire Resort Entertainment City, Sun Life Philippines, The Mont Property Group Inc., Unilever Philippines, and Visa.

SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SM Prime) is building a stronger concert economy in the Visayas, with more than 20 major shows lined up at the newly launched SM Seaside Cebu Arena in 2026.

The lineup features Filipino and international acts, live productions, sports events and family entertainment, with some set for their first large-scale performances in the region.

The arena officially opened on July 11, 2026, with BINI as the first act. Several major shows are confirmed for 2026 (BINI, IV of Spades, TJ Monterde & KZ Tandingan, Yeng Constantino, Hillsong Worship, LANY, Disney on Ice, plus upcoming sports events like the 2027 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup).

“Our goal is to help Cebu capture a larger share of the live entertainment economy. When major events come to the city, the impact extends beyond the venue. They support tourism, hospitality, transport, retail and the local services that benefit from stronger visitor inflow,” said SM Prime President Jeffrey C. Lim.

According to Lim, the development of SM Seaside Cebu Arena also reflects the post-pandemic shift in consumer behavior experiences.

For Millennials and Gen Z, experiences hold strong appeal because they create lasting memories, are easily shared socially and align with a more intentional approach to wellness, time and spending.

Technology is also fueling growth, with online ticketing platforms improving access and venue systems enhancing the audience experience through better visuals, sound and production quality.

SM Prime is building on both opportunities. In May, the company partnered with global ticketing company Ticketmaster to launch SM Ticketmaster. The venture will replace SM Tickets and combine Ticketmaster’s global platform and fraud prevention tools with SM Prime’s local operating network.

At the venue level, SM Seaside Cebu Arena features the most advanced center-hung display in the Visayas. The technology gives audiences a clear view of both the live performance and digital replays from every seat, supporting a wide range of events, from sports and concerts to family entertainment, corporate shows, circus productions and motorsports.

SM Seaside Cebu Arena sits within South Road Properties (SRP) and is directly connected to SM Seaside City Cebu, one of the country’s largest retail and lifestyle destinations.

The arena will also be linked to the upcoming SMX Convention Center Seaside Cebu, Park Inn by Radisson, and Radisson Hotel, further strengthening SRP as an integrated lifestyle, events and tourism district in the Queen City of the South.
