Manila, Philippines – Following his previous release, rising alt-pop artist Lorenzo Jan returns with “Ngayong Gabi,” a dreamy and atmospheric new single that captures the magic of finding someone who shares the same passion for music and the courage to chase a dream together.
Blending synth-pop, dream pop, and indie influences, “Ngayong Gabi” features hazy textures, atmospheric synths, and wistful melodies that create an intimate and immersive listening experience. Its sound combines emotional rawness with a dreamy indie-pop atmosphere, offering listeners a fresh take on modern Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
Inspired by Lorenzo Jan’s personal journey through Billboard, Wish 107.5, and his experience of signing with a record label, the song tells the story of two creative souls discovering a connection through their shared love for music and performing. Despite the uncertainties that come with pursuing their ambitions, they find comfort and inspiration in having someone beside them.
The line “Sa pag-indak ika’y kasama, pati na rin ang mga bituin ngayong gabi” reflects the song’s central message: the beauty of dancing through life with someone who believes in the same dream.
With “Ngayong Gabi,” Lorenzo Jan continues to explore his musical identity, delivering a heartfelt track for dreamers, music lovers, and anyone who believes that the journey becomes more meaningful when shared with someone special.
“Ngayong Gabi” is now part of Lorenzo Jan’s growing musical journey under KDR Music House, bringing his distinctive sound and personal storytelling to the evolving OPM scene.
