Humor on point! Lee Dong Wook is at HOME in Manila!

Going to Lee Dong Wook’s “My Sweet Home” fan meeting on December 20, 2025, at The Theatre at Solaire was like magic. It was an early Christmas present that lived up to all the hype!

From the moment the lights dimmed, Lee Dong Wook’s charismatic presence filled the venue with warmth and joy. Known for his iconic roles as the stoic Grim Reaper in Goblin and the fierce gumiho in Tale of the Nine Tailed, Wookie did not shy away and showed his playful, affectionate side and was genuinely touched by the love from Filipino fans.

The event was perfectly themed around “home,” which made it feel like a warm family gathering. The visuals were stunning, the sound was great, and there were festive holiday touches that made it feel like a family gathering.

WookDong talked about his career and shared personal stories from his series and behind-the-scenes of his work. He also talked about how he got from his early dramas to his most recent projects. He joked, “What, Pogi?” when he heard his new nicknames, “POGI” and “Mahal.” He said, “Hindi niyo lang naman sinasabi sakin yan; pati sa ibang artista sinasabi niyo yan,” which drew a loud scream from the crowd.

The games’ part was so funny. He was cool and competitive, but he failed every mission, which made it even funnier. He was charming, his quick wit was spot-on, and everything about him was lovable. Seeing him talk to fans during the Q&A, answer questions, and take requests made him seem more like an old friend than a distant star.

This queen showed up in a full-on Lee Dong Wook character photo dress and got a hug from Oppa himself! Core memory unlocked!

Lee Dong Wook kept saying that Manila feels like a second home to him, and Filipino Noehee’s energy was electric. He was truly humble when he thanked his Filipino fans. “Since My Girl 20 years ago, the love you gave me has left a big space in my heart, and whenever I hear the Philippines, you’re what I remember most.”

Whether you’re a Wookie fan or not, this fan meeting was an unforgettable night of laughter, “Sana ol Moments,” screams, and pure bliss. The sweetest gift of all this Christmas! It is intimate, heartfelt, and worth every peso—we can’t wait for him to come back! All thanks to Solaire for making this happen!
