“Birthdays for me, is all about gratitude . I’ve been so blessed in my career with people who have supported me all through my 45 plus years. I want to celebrate this birthday in a way that allows me to share that gratitude with my fans n friends.”
“Pray. Eat. Sing. is what is most special to me because of the opportunity to share my growing faith, also to fellowship, thru personal stories and songs.We start with prayer to thank God for His blessings, reminding us that everything comes from Him.”
“The dining experience also has a special story behind it. I know that Donita is an excellent chef, and she approached me with the idea of doing a degustation dinner. What made it even more interesting is that the ingredients are common to the area of Indang, Cavite, particularly around Hacienda Isabella, so the menu highlights the ingredients of the towns, giving the dinner a genuine and authentic taste.Also Donita has fun n unique stories that go with every dish which makes the dining experience even more special and personal.”

The title “A KUHlinary Birthday Concert” is such a clever play on your name, what does the “KUHlinary” aspect mean to you personally, and how does it tie into your philosophy about birthdays as a gift from God?
“Well, of course, food is one of the gifts that we get to enjoy, and we must always be thankful for every meal we have because it’s all grace from God. And birthdays… they’re another gift that we have to be thankful for. It’s another year completed, and I get to look forward to a whole new year of living under God’s protection and abundance. In life, we also get to be creative , just like in preparing food. It’s like we get to play with the ingredients of life to cook something delicious… to make a life of satisfaction and fulfillment.”
Chef Donita Rose is curating a special 7-course degustation dinner. What can guests expect in terms of the menu’s theme or highlights? Did you collaborate with her on any dishes that hold special meaning for you?
“Guests can expect a very well thought of curated 7-course degustation dinner created by Chef Donita Rose. Donita is an excellent chef, and what makes the menu interesting is that most of the ingredients are common in Indang, Cavite, especially around Hacienda Isabella. So the theme is very much about fresh and local flavors presented in a simple yet elegant way.”
“We did talk about the overall feel of the menu. I left the creative direction in Donita’s capable hands. The collaboration was more about the experience we wanted guests to have , something intimate, joyful, delectable and meaningful.”
You’re joined onstage by Felson Palad and your talented daughter Isabella, what makes this collaboration feel extra special for your pre-birthday celebration?
“Having Felson Palad and my daughter Isabella with me onstage makes the evening even more delightful!”
“Felson has a wonderful and pleasing to the ears voice and very giving of his talent.When you share the stage with someone like him, the music naturally feels more heartfelt and alive.”
“But of course, having my daughter Isabella with me in a concert is always special. Any time I get to share the stage with Isabella, it is not just a performance , it becomes exciting and i love the fact that she loves singing. She exudes so much confidence.Music has always been such an important part of my life, and to see Isabella embrace it in her own way is a blessing.”

“We’ve prepared some beautiful duets for you, that’s for sure.”
Hacienda Isabella has become a recurring spot for your events (like the recent “IKAW… Pa Rin” show). What draws you back to this beautiful countryside venue, and how does it enhance the intimate, grateful mood you’re aiming for?
“Well, as the one who built and designed Hacienda Isabella, and now having also put up a theater here, it’s always a pleasure to mount shows and share with my fans the beauty of my other passion aside from singing, which is designing and building. I also love seeing people enjoy themselves with their family and friends whenever they come here to bond, watch a show, have team buildings, conferences, or even attend weddings that happen here. Hacienda Isabella has a special charm that keeps people coming back. The peaceful countryside creates a calm and relaxed atmosphere. It’s a beautiful setting that encourages people to simply enjoy the moment.”

The very popular song goes, “I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside…” Meaningful words from the iconic song “The Greatest Love of All”, originally recorded by George Benson for the Muhammad Ali biopic “The Greatest” and made hugely popular by the late great Whitney Houston. Without a doubt, our children are the future of our country, and to care for them, teach them, and guide them in the way they should go—so that when they grow old they will not depart from it—is Gospel Truth indeed.
It is this guiding principle that has encouraged Ms. Kuh Ledesma to embark on a Christmas Special benefit concert together with other like-minded individuals for the “Children’s First 1000 Days Holistic Program”, a project aimed at providing a solid foundation for the development of children’s minds and bodies.
The Christmas Special, which is fittingly called THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL, will be held on November 23, 2025, at 6 PM at The Tent City of The Manila Hotel in One Rizal Park, Ermita, Manila. Your upcoming concert “The Greatest Love of All: A Christmas Special” is a benefit for the Children’s First 1000 Days Holistic Program. Why did you say yes to headline and be part of this cause?
Kuh revealed that she has long believed in the vision of former Senator Joey Lina. “Matagal na nilang ginagawa ‘to,” she shared, noting that this is her first time to be personally involved in his advocacy. For the Pop Diva, supporting the critical first 1,000 days of a child’s life—when proper nutrition and care can shape their future—is a natural extension of her faith and values.
Sharing the Stage with Daughter Isabella
One of the most heartwarming moments of the evening will be when Kuh performs alongside her daughter Isabella.
“It’s always my joy to perform with my daughter on stage,” Kuh said warmly, “and I want her to be exposed to a benefit show like this.” For Kuh, passing on the spirit of giving to the next generation is just as important as the music itself.

“We normally do the event in Hacienda Isabella. Kami naman, we just want to get together with our fans, friends, and family. Gusto namin masaya lang ang Pasko right after Christmas,” Kuh explained. “Really painful to see, especially also painful to hear that our government has become very corrupt,” she said candidly. “Even if there is corruption—and I’m not saying it’s okay—kahit na ganon ang gobyerno natin, especially sa mga nakakalamang ay tutulong sa mga kapwa Pilipino, lalo na sa mga na-bagyo. Kung ang mga mayayaman will share what they have, hindi maghihirap ang maraming mga Pilipino.”
But she quickly added a spiritual dimension: “At the same time, merong hinihingi ang Diyos sa atin—ang magkaroon ng pagsisisi as a country. Dapat magbalik-loob tayo sa Panginoon.”
Quoting 2 Chronicles 7:14, Kuh reminded everyone: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, believe it or not — Kuh is 70. Seventy! That’s seven decades, thirteen presidents and more than a thousand concerts. And still – Kuh is radiant , vibrant and glamorous! She is very much a diva with a voice that still captivates audiences of different ages and people whisper in awe and some in disbelief, “ha ??? 70 na yan???? I’m sure nag paretoke yan!” or “is she a vampire or something? And the best is “akala ko in her late 50’s siya.”
She’s been in the business for 45 plus years — and that’s looong! Philippines’ Pop Diva Kuh Ledesma performed the second edition of her “ABC’s” last October 18th. It was a remarkable blend of nostalgia and spiritual upliftment, showcasing her extensive repertoire and deep faith. The event drew a full house audience at the Music Museum on a Friday night, all eager to experience her iconic hits and covers.
Kuh captivated the crowd with her stunning vocals, opening with Céline Dion’s “I’m Alive,” followed by her iconic hit “I Think I’m in Love” and “Love Will Keep Us Alive” by the Eagles. A Birthday to Celebrate, A Concert to Entertain and A Message to Inspire

That is the theme of 3:16, year 2024’s Birthday Concert by the Philippines’ one and only pop diva Ms. KUH LEDESMA. 3:16, which is the numeric equivalent of Kuh’s birthdate, March 16, will be staged this year at the popular Music Museum in Greenhills San Juan. The Concert is Kuh’s way of thanking and celebrating the many blessings that she and her family have received through these many years. Inspite of the many trials and challenges that Kuh has faced in both her professional and personal life, her faith has kept her head above water and she has shown resilience and courage against all odds. Kuh hopes that through her 3:16 Concert people will not only be entertained by the songs that she will be performing but that through her personal testimony people will be inspired to learn more about the significance of the numbers 3:16 in her life.
Majority of the proceeds from the 3:16 Concert aims to benefit THE HOLY BIBLE GIVER FOUNDATION Inc. The Holy Bible Giver Foundation Inc. or (HBGFI) is a non-profit, non-government organization founded by Kuh, the goal of which is to distribute copies of the Bible in depressed areas around the country and conduct healing conferences and Inspirational Concerts all over the Philippines.
Presently, Kuh has continued to support HBGFI in its efforts to successfully distribute Bibles in Metro Manila, Cavite, Tacloban, Davao, Cebu and Cagayan. The Foundation has also mounted big healing conferences in Cagayan, Bacolod and Cebu. It has been supporting non-government organizations that care for abused children like The Kalipay Foundation of Bacolod and the Samaritan’s Inc in Cavite .
Apart from her hectic professional life, Kuh has also endeavored into visiting prisons, rehabs and orphanages as part of her calling and commitment to bring God’s good news and love . Kuh believes that more than just providing financial or material support to incarcerated individuals or abandoned or orphaned children, the spiritual welfare and needs of these individuals are just as or if not even more important as they face the stigma of imprisonment and neglect. She believes that by paying it forward through her faith she is also helping society by imparting positive and encouraging values to people whom society has somehow shunned or forgotten, thus giving them hope for a second, third or even fourth chance at a better, more productive life.
In line with the theme of her Concert, Kuh will be performing familiar Pop ditties with inspiring messages that she hopes will not only be entertaining but will also impart a positive spiritual vibe with her audience.
